*** Undergrounds Coffee = the great drive-thru latte lifesavers ***…read more This Undergrounds Coffee is the sister to the cafe of the same name on Grimes Street. Unlike the bigger Grimes location, however, this is a simpler, faster version. This Undergrounds features two drive-thru windows parallel to Dal Paso Street, so no matter which direction you're headed you can easily choose the shorter line and still be able to continue on the same path just as smoothly. During the holidays, I thoroughly enjoyed my "Log Cabin" latte while my kiddos sipped their small hot cocoas on a road trip to Texas. Prior to that, I enjoyed the slight sweetness of a 16-oz. hot pumpkin spice latte for $4.75 (10/4/2022). The employees are usually friendly & efficient, never pressing you to add a tip if you pay by card. That's why I suggest to bring cash. Unlike a few other coffee shops in town, they open early and usually 7 days a week. Follow their Instagram for weekly specials on lattes, teas, smoothies, & drinks for kiddos: @ug_hobbs.

The 509 Drink Shop is a drive-thru shop only…read more It's located on the south side of Seminole, TX. My total for three 16-ounce drinks on June 27, 2026, came to $17.61 cash. My oldest kiddo and I opted for iced white mocha coffees. It was delicious, but had so much ice. My youngest kiddo chose a strawberry matcha with cold foam cream. She wasn't crazy about it until I told her to stir it up a bit. It was okay to me. I guess she learned that she might not be a fan of matcha after all. Lol. The service was exceedingly friendly, but the drinks come out a bit on the slow side. None of the cons would stop me from coming here again. Plastic is accepted but there is an extra fee.

Coffee was actually pretty good. Seems more like a quick shop than coffee shop though.read more

Bowls & Rolls is a unique place in Hobbs, America, that sells poke bowls, boba teas, yogurt…read morealternative, and rolled ice cream. There aren't many places like it 'round here! On 8/4/22 we ordered the following: 3 24-ounce milk teas = $16.50 2 large plush boba pillows ($15 each) = $30 Tax = $3.18 Both of my daughters got boba put in their drinks while I did not. They had me try theirs, though. It was okay. Some of it was not chewy, but rather hard. Their shop is located in a nice newer plaza. It's a cute place to have a special treat with your kiddos or even on a date. The lot felt a bit small considering how many people drive big jacked up trucks in this town. Call (575) 200-5333 to order for pickup. Service was friendly and fast.

If you're in the Hobbs area and need a coffee, look up Rig Water Coffee on Facebook or on Instagram…read more@RigWaterCoffee to find out if they're at their "usual" location. Please support small businesses! Their trailer is typically set up in front of Dryland's Brewing Company on Navajo Drive, across the street from Ashley Furniture. Keep in mind many local companies and such hire them for their events, so they post their schedule on the two above-stated social media sites. On 5/3/2023, I tried them for the first time. I opted for the "Salesman" which is an iced coffee made with honey and oat milk ($6). You can also order this 20 oz. concoction served hot. I would definitely order this again. They offer other milk alternatives: coconut, almond, and soy. Plus they have teas - not to mention cocao, Red Bull, and protein drinks. The service was friendly and fast. I only have one complaint and this mainly has to do with the City of Hobbs regulations... WHY? Oh, why do food trailers *have* to use generator? They could easily plug into Dryland's, but no. Rig Water has the loudest generator ever and I'm getting older and can't hear a damn thing except said generator! Lol. Love their slogan of "meet me at the rig." TIP Call in orders ahead of time at (575) 691-8640.

Daybreak Diner is a no-frills, slightly out-of-date breakfast and lunch diner in Seminole, TX…read more This place is easy to miss because it's in the same building as another business called CYA Trucking Insurance. There was ample parking in a gravel lot. I popped in on August 18, 2026 hoping for breakfast, but it cut off at 11 so I missed it. Service was warm and friendly, but I didn't like how one of the helpers neglected to clean up the dirty dish water that she contributed to spilling on the floor from their cart. She saw it. I saw her see it. Lol. If you ignore a problem, it suddenly doesn't become yours anymore I guess. Must be nice to be so... okay, I'll stop. I requested the $10 daily special (small burger with fries and drink), but my waitress charged me for something else. I wasn't mad about it, but the food was definitely overpriced. My food came out under 10 minutes. I had a thin 1/4 lb. patty cheddar cheeseburger with very flavorless chopped jalapenos and all the fixings with homemade fries ($14 + $.54 for the cheese and $.54 for the jalapenos) that at first tasted like they had been dunked in old oil then got better plus a plain black coffee ($2.07). That set me back a whopping $19.10. The burger reminded me of one that I used to get often with friends at a cafe that has since closed down. It was delicious and probably a million calories, but Jeff Lynne sang "Don't Bring Me Down" and so should you. RATING BREAKDOWN (4 stars overall) Food: 5 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 3 | Price: 4

Pandita Express #2 is my new favorite food trailer in Hobbs, NM…read more I drove down to place an order on the early evening of July 13, 2025. They offer Chinese and Japanese fare. I opted for the #15 shrimp fried rice ($13). Their fried rice is mouthwatering delicious. Beneath all my rice was even more shrimp. I didn't count them, but it was more than I could handle in one setting. They really loaded my takeout box! It also came with an egg roll, fork, napkins, and condiments. So appreciated. My daughters' great grandmother on their dad's side used to make me egg foo young. This outfit makes it too! Might have to try theirs for nostalgia as I never make it at home. Awesome service. Order. Pay. They assign you a handheld buzzer. My food came out in less than the estimated 5 minutes. The only thing I would change is to add prices to their menu. Huge fan!
