My oldest kiddo and I opted for iced white mocha coffees. It was delicious, but had so much ice. My youngest kiddo chose a strawberry matcha with cold foam cream. She wasn't crazy about it until I told her to stir it up a bit. It was okay to me. I guess she learned that she might not be a fan of matcha after all. Lol. The service was exceedingly friendly, but the drinks come out a bit on the slow side. None of the cons would stop me from coming here again. Plastic is accepted but there is an extra fee.

The last time we came here was back on 12.4.2025. It was to celebrate my oldest getting second place in her schoolwide spelling bee. The boba teas no longer good! Holy Sheep Tea & Boba Studio is the newest of its kind in Hobbs, NM…read more When we walked in for our first visit on 7/25/2023 it was super cute for social media feeds, but already cluttered. It must be a Hobbs thing that people have this insatiable need to pack like a rat & stuff into corners & on tops of tables. Lol. But seriously it's very distracting & unwelcoming. Their drinks - while good - are a bit on the small side for the price. My two young daughters and I all ordered regular sizes then later tried each other's concoctions. I thoroughly enjoyed my Green Apple Fruit Tea ($5.65) at 75% sweetness & regular ice. I failed to remember that grass jelly would probably go well with this and the youngster at the counter wasn't particularly helpful in suggesting that. My oldest got the most expensive drink. Naturally. Lol. Her taro milk tea with regular boba was good ($6.10). The boba here seems small, though. My youngest probably got the best drink: the Brown Sugar Avalance ($5.85) with fresh milk, boba, & grass jelly. It was sweet, but not overbearingly so. The drinks came out within about 5 minutes and that was even after a larger order just ahead of us. There is ample, free parking in the relatively new Navajo East Plaza. (It's across the street from Ashley Furniture and the Habitat for Humanity.) Inside there were stuffed boba creatures and other Asian-inspired toys. There were a couple of dollar claw machines... you're warned especially if you have little ones! :) Order at the counter. Pay. Remember your number because they don't give out receipts - not to me and the other before and after me anyway. Pick up on the adjacent counter from the register. Recommended as a once in a while treat. Would definitely get the larger size for me personally next time. According to their front door, they are open daily from 11AM-9PM. Hooray!

I ordered a simple black coffee, and given the shop's extensive use of Starbucks' intellectual property, I naïvely assumed the coffee would at least meet a basic standard of quality. If you're going to borrow, or more accurately, blatantly imitate the branding of a multi-billion-dollar coffee company, the least you could do is match the quality of their product. My wife and I have stopped in twice, at different times while passing through town, and both visits were consistently disappointing. I'm honestly not sure which felt worse: the coffee itself or the odd experience of patronizing a shop that keeps a Bible prominently displayed on the counter, I'm guessing Mennonite while operating a business model that openly contradicts the very values that book teaches. Build your own brand and be proud of it. Stealing someone else's brand identity is unethical, dishonest, and illegal.

My peppermint mocha had a good espresso flavor, but was just a tad heavy on the chocolate. A grande (yes, just like at Starbucks - similar to a medium option) set me back $7.36. At that price, I had to check if I was still in Seminole, Texas. Large pastries were available, but I wasn't all that hungry. The parking was easy up front. The decor inside was charming & decorated nicely for Christmas. I love the tall ceilings in this place. If I had stayed with my laptop - which they did have Wi-Fi - I would have sat in a bar stool at the large table in the center of the shop. Friendly young lady working the counter took just under 5 minutes to prep my hot drink. RATING BREAKDOWN Drink: 4 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 3
