When my daughter and I walked in on the afternoon of 2/10/2024, we were not welcomed. None of the 3 employees smiled at us. No music was playing. We were never asked if we needed help. Then two groups walked in after us and were quickly greeted and music was turned on. It really ticked me off. Then my daughter started picking out candy and showing me. One employee followed us and watched us like a hawk. It was very uncomfortable. I told my daughter to put the candy back because I didn't feel welcome there & we walked out. The candies were mostly of the Mexican variety and in bulk packaging. Most likely unbeknownst to them, I grew up eating much of the items they sold, but I have no problem walking out when I am not welcome. There weren't many supplies except some party favors, piñatas, and balloons. This is a brand new store so it was very clean with ample parking in a plaza lot. According to their Facebook page, a snack bar con elote en vaso, fresas con crema, y elote entero is "coming soon." Hope you receive better service than we did. It feels perpetually like Christmas here. Most of these things don't interest me, and that makes up the majority of the store. What I would absolutely come back for is the huge selection of loose-leaf teas. (There is also a huge selection of coffee beans, that's just not my thing personally.) I purchased some Darjeeling and some White, both of which I haven't had in a while. I prefer loose leaf teas as it's lower waste and (typically) higher quality. There was only one which I wanted that they were out of - Lapsang Souchong. The owner took note of it and said he'd have more in sometime - I'll be looking forward to going back for that. By the way, prices are indeed on the high side here across the board. I had one of the chocolates and it wasn't impressive for the price. But the tea and coffee prices seem reasonable, plus you can "adjust" the price by the amount you purchase.

They have rare sodas and a bottle opener right at the front. They also have a lot of odd and unique candy including a wall of cotton candy cryptid "poop" on the left. The kids loved the bad of yeti poop I grabbed for them. They have posters and postcards up front with lore Eddie Macias art.
