If I'm not mistaken, this is Hobbs' first chocolatier. They had so many delightful chocolate covered items - from nuts to jalapenos. My daughters were dying to try ice cream and stuck to their flavors. The youngest had two scoops in a cup of Krazy Kolors. Bold colors of red, blue, and yellow, but it tasted like plain vanilla to me. Lol. The oldest had two scoops of Cookie Two Step, which was chocolate chip cookie dough. Very cream. Large chunks of chocolate. The decent-sized cold mounds were served in small plastic ball caps both for $12.14. Their prices range from $4-$13 per item. Recently Ms. Becky of Salty Frog (a boutique and gift shop) announced on social media that Juice Wrld would be a permanent fixture in front of her shop. Shout out to the amazing Becky! After science camp, I took my oldest daughter. We both tried a bowl ($12 each). She opted for match as her base, granola and chia seeds for toppings, strawberry and kiwi, and honey drizzle. It was good, but the matcha is not really all that sweet. My bowl went like this: coconut base, chia seeds and white chocolate chips, pineapple and raspberries - all drizzled in agave. This was super yummy and much sweeter than hers! Cash is accepted. Not sure when their grand opening is, but they are currently offer early-to-late hours. From their holiday menu (available as of 12/12/2023), I enjoyed the "Holly Jolly" which consisted of "holiday punch blended with our tangy lemon teaN'ergy." The "Dreamsicle" ($6.73 for a 32 oz. with coconut milk) was good. All of their drinks come with lots of ice. Maybe a little too much. My favorite so far has been the "Gamma Radiation" (32 oz. $5.83). They offer gift cards for any amount you desire. Inside, the place offers a variety of seating. They had a very cool Prince-inspired t-shirt for sale back on 12/12/2023. While the owners were extremely nice and generous & even gave us a quick tour of their snazzy trailer, their pizzas are good. Not great. Yet another case of "I wanted to love it, but..." Lol. My friend who made the orders, was ecstatic about the "Da Vinci" which entails "spinach, artichokes, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese & garlic olive oil." It was alright. I prefered "the 505" which combines "sausage, Hatch green chiles, mozzarella cheese and red sauce." It was more savory and delicious than even the plain cheese, pepperoni, and the slice of "3 Little Pigs" (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, mozzarella cheese & red sauce) that I tried. These are very thin pizzas. The edges were much too burned for me most of the time. This is very typical of wood-fired pizzas in my opinion. Even the culinary hub of the Greater Los Angeles area where I lived for 10 years. Also, their dough itself was not very flavorful or enjoyable to eat, so I dug into my brother and sister-in-law's kitchen to create my own dipping sauce. Maybe they've created some since I tried them last summer, but I haven't heard about it. Because the owners were so generous and kept the pizzas coming for our hungry crowd - plus I wasn't the one paying the tab and didn't have a say in "more 505s please" - I can't go lower than 4 stars even if they aren't my favorite pizzas. That is, if you can score a table or a high-top chair at the bar! This place is already so popular. My French vanilla latte ($4.25) was creamy, but I still tasted the coffee! I also grabbed a cheesecake pastry as well as a pumpkin filled pastry with sugar on top. Both pastries came out to $5.98. I'm saving my pumpkin one for a midnight snack, but the cheesecake was no overly sweet. The bottom was just a bit overdone, but still really good. It must be a Hobbs thing that people have this insatiable need to pack like a rat & stuff into corners & on tops of tables. Lol. But seriously it's very distracting & unwelcoming. Their drinks - while good - are a bit on the small side for the price. My two young daughters and I all ordered regular sizes then later tried each other's concoctions. I thoroughly enjoyed my Green Apple Fruit Tea ($5.65) at 75% sweetness & regular ice. I failed to remember that grass jelly would probably go well with this and the youngster at the counter wasn't particularly helpful in suggesting that. My oldest got the most expensive drink. Naturally. Lol. Her taro milk tea with regular boba was good ($6.10). The boba here seems small, though. My youngest probably got the best drink: the Brown Sugar Avalance ($5.85) with fresh milk, boba, & grass jelly. It was sweet, but not overbearingly so. The drinks came out within about 5 minutes and that was even after a larger order just ahead of us. There is ample, free parking in the relatively new Navajo East Plaza. (It's across the street from Ashley Furniture and the Habitat for Humanity.) Inside there were stuffed boba creatures and other Asian-inspired toys. There were a couple of dollar claw machines... you're warned especially if you have little ones! :) Order at the counter. Pay. Remember your number because they don't give out receipts - not to me and the other before and after me anyway. Pick up on the adjacent counter from the register. Recommended as a once in a while treat. Would definitely get the larger size for me personally next time. According to their front door, they are open daily from 11AM-9PM. Hooray!
