She even said "Yes sir" after everything I said. The drive-thru menu was simple and easy to follow. The iced coffee was fresh, smooth, and very flavorful, with a rich taste similar to cold brew. The hot latte had a perfect balance of espresso and steamed milk, and the quality of the espresso was easy to notice. The breakfast bagel was the highlight. The everything bagel, melted Gouda, and flavorful sausage worked perfectly together. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I would definitely come back.

Blue Barn Coffee Co is a great place for a little pick me up…read more It features a small dark blue building on Mustang Dr. in Andrews, TX, with intercoms and drive-thru windows on both sides of the barn. My brother needed me to take his dog in for him for updated shots, so I decided to take the road less traveled. So glad I did because I didn't know this place existed! I opted for the #5 called "The Tumbleweed." It is comprised of "butter pecan, coconut, and vanilla latte." This large ($4.75) was great iced, but may be served hot too. Their puppucino is $.75. Just ask for it because they currently don't have it on their menu. At that time, they didn't have any bagels, etc. like I had seen on their Facebook page. The staff was nice. Recommended.

I ordered a simple black coffee, and given the shop's extensive use of Starbucks' intellectual property, I naïvely assumed the coffee would at least meet a basic standard of quality. If you're going to borrow, or more accurately, blatantly imitate the branding of a multi-billion-dollar coffee company, the least you could do is match the quality of their product. My wife and I have stopped in twice, at different times while passing through town, and both visits were consistently disappointing. I'm honestly not sure which felt worse: the coffee itself or the odd experience of patronizing a shop that keeps a Bible prominently displayed on the counter, I'm guessing Mennonite while operating a business model that openly contradicts the very values that book teaches. Build your own brand and be proud of it. Stealing someone else's brand identity is unethical, dishonest, and illegal.

*** good place to grab a coffee, latte, frappe, and more ***…read more I popped into Star Coffee Lounge on Thursday afternoon, December 12, 2024. My peppermint mocha had a good espresso flavor, but was just a tad heavy on the chocolate. A grande (yes, just like at Starbucks - similar to a medium option) set me back $7.36. At that price, I had to check if I was still in Seminole, Texas. Large pastries were available, but I wasn't all that hungry. The parking was easy up front. The decor inside was charming & decorated nicely for Christmas. I love the tall ceilings in this place. If I had stayed with my laptop - which they did have Wi-Fi - I would have sat in a bar stool at the large table in the center of the shop. Friendly young lady working the counter took just under 5 minutes to prep my hot drink. RATING BREAKDOWN Drink: 4 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 3

It was just a really refreshing experience compared to feeling rushed at Starbucks. I got my usual decaf coffee with sugar and the husband tried a white chocolate latte (I forgot the name). The coffees were phenomenal. But the REALLY cool part was how they give you a free chocolate covered coffee bean on every single drink (even the smoothies, because, yes, we went back). We have also tried a muffin top, smoothie, and biscotti. I am serious when I say that everything is good here. I am just mad at myself that I had just bought more coffee for the house before discovering this wonderful place and buying it here instead!
