I was very much in love with the Quinoa bowl which had so many elements adding up to a well made dish! The service was friendly and they have a welcoming little space that doesn't feel too crowded and feels nice to linger in. BUT the thing I can't get past is the price. I thought maybe because they make many of their ingredients or because it could be organic or gluten-free or something that drives the cost up? But then I looked at other comparable places around town: also locally-owned and homemade-focused. CPR is still way more expensive! $7.50 for a 12-ounce mocha PLUS $1.25 to sub oat milk. That's $8.75 for a small drink. The most I can find alternative milk costing per drink is $0.75 in town. No matter how good your food is or how much you've put into it, I cannot justify spending $8.75 for a 12 ounce treat more than once or twice a year. I'm sorry I can't visit more often. :(

Not only did he jump my car battery, he taught both my friend and I HOW to jump a car! He was incredibly sweet and kind. He acted like it was no big deal, but I am SO GRATEFUL. Apparently Native Coffee is a fairly new company and they've opened a couple of stands in less than a year so they seem to be off to a good start. I visited about 10 days after they opened this location so I'm not sure if they usually have drink specials or not; it didn't seem like they had any today. Luckily it doesn't tend to matter to me since I don't drink coffee; I'm a chai or lemonade gal. Their chai was really good, and though I don't know for a fact it's not Oregon Chai brand, I'd be really surprised. The chai they have here is really subtle in flavor, whereas Oregon Chai is very very sweet. I was really pleased with this drink. The guy who took my order was super friendly and thanked me for stopping by. I usually don't buy pastries when stopping at a coffee trailer, but I'm glad I asked because they were really great. I hadn't heard of a lemon roll before but yummmmm. Definitely pick one up if they still have them when you stop by, and since they keep them in the fridge for freshness I'd definitely microwave them for 30 seconds or so (actually, warm them up even if you live it at room temp for a bit). Native Coffee is a great addition to the coffee options in Eugene, and worth a stop if you're in west Eugene.

Both sides are easy to access for drive thru though note that there's stuff on the side so not for wide vehicles. Worse than that though was that somewhere I saw that the hours were different than they actually were... HOWEVER, the owner/manager's response when I notified them was fabulous. They were genuinely sorry and I get issues when opening a new place, particularly when it happens so quickly. So I visited FINALLY when they were open. The manager was there at the time and she was EXTREMELY pleasant and friendly. She was apologetic, after some conversation she realized that I was the one that they had talked to online on FB. Needless to say the customer service here is awesome. I only wish they were open like a split shift -- morning and then evening. I also hope that they are considering getting iced drinks and iced teas etc. Anyway I had a mocha and it was truly different and TOTALLY and completely delicious. I had them put it in my thermos from a competitor and apologized but told them that if they got their own cups I would happily use that ;) That being said that mocha was strong but smooth. The chocolate was clearly something different than used elsewhere and I believe I read it was Euphoria chocolate. Definitely made a difference. YUMMY! I also got the Dragonfly Sweet Chai. It was served warm and had great flavor too. It wasn't exactly like a sweet vanilla chai like I prefer and it had less spice than other chai tea lattes, but it was still more spice than I prefer. That being said it has great flavor so if you are a chai lover give them a try. Lastly I got a latte that was recommended when I asked the mgr what her favorite drink was. She told me but then I said that I wanted her to just make it as if it was for herself. In the end she told me that it was a latte (regular milk) with cinnamon, nutmeg and honey... ummm I was thrown a bit until I tried it -- DELICIOUS. YES I purchased 3 drinks. I am a drinkaholic... but they were also $2 each at that time.. AND I had to write a fair yelp review that reviewed more than one drink right? Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.
