Out of all the tanning salons I have visited, Hot Spot is absolutely my favorite. The many machines are well kept and the bulbs are always new (hot) Without fail, I am always greeted by Brianna with a friendly smile and always by first name. She is always willing to talk about new products, her favorites and is always prompt to get me checked in and into a bed my my convenience. The quality and cleanliness coupled with the friendly, professional & prompt service keeps my business at Hot Spot! Thanks so much! read more

I've been going to hotspot since 2004, and it is my go to tanning salon always. I don't tan as much as I used to back in the day but every once in a while, I will go in and buy a week just to have a little glow. Their spray tans are also amazing. They have a three step process with which really seals in the spray tan and you do not come out looking orange. Deena, the owner is an absolute sweetheart. The place is super clean and is a great environment. read more

Amazing service and they are extremely clean!!! Product are nice as well!! Nice location read more

In the area from out of town for business and gave this place a try. Greeted by friendly woman who explained all my options as well as the bed I was not familiar with. They have reasonable prices, a clean business and great customer service- what else could you ask for? read more

I have never used this tanning place before but I wanted to try it because I recently started driving by North Gate on my way home from work and I was a little sick of the nasty attitudes from some of the girls at the place I was going previously. I looked online and found some coupons and stopped in last night on my way home. I was greeted immediately with a smile and a hello from the girl behind the counter. Already better than the place in Saugus i used to go. I explained that I was new to this establishment and she asked me a lot of questions about how I tan and what I was looking for. She was informative without being pushy. I bought a month membership and she helped me pick out some good lotion. Now here is the amazing part, instead of just throwing a room number at me and sending me wondering around the place, she actually got up and showed me around! She showed me all of the features of the bed and where to put the towels. When I left, I was asked if I had enjoyed my experience and I was thanked. It is hard to come by good customer service these days and I am really impressed with my first time at The Hot Spot. I have signed up for a month so I hope I continue to receive the positive approach like the one I received last night. read more

Was staying nearby and stopped in. Everything was very clean and the customer service was OUTSTANDING!!

Trying out the Versa Spa sunless tanning. My spray tan lasted about a week, and everyone said they loved it. I wasn't totally happy with it. You could see little spots all over my body. read more

Worse spray tan I have ever experienced. The staff was friendly and helpful but the machine may have been broken and messed up my spray tan right before vacation. I will never return here unless they gave me a full refund for my services. read more

I love hot spot and Dina! FYI make an appointment for versa, second time I wasn't able to tan because I didn't make one. read more

The Hot Spot is a perfect place for tanning! They are SUPER clean, the bulbs are always new.. The staff is so kindly, always smiling! My old manager recommended this for my first tanning and I already buy 3 packets in 1y and a half. The price is fair. They have lotions and samples. I extremely recommend this place. read more

A little pricey but the place is huge with plenty of beds and booths. Never have to wait for a room to open up. VERY clean and the staff is beyond friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back to get my base tan before my next tropical vacation. read more

This place is convenient unfortunately I will not be returning. I had purchased several tanning sessions but not informed that they expired within a month. After calling today I explained how that was not informed at the time of purchase but they did nothing to satisfy the customer. In other words money kept for no services. Never returning again. read more

Hot Spot and Boston Vape have become a 2nd home. The combo of Tanning & Vaping was a brilliant idea. Hot Spot tanning has the latest technology when it come to both Sunless tanning & UV tanning booths and stand-ups, (never a bulb out). You must try the VersaSpa Sunless Tanning System- it gives me phenomenal color, doesn't dehydrate my skin or leave me blotchy it's one of the best sunless tanning systems around. Another reason Hot Spots is one of my favorite places to tan is because no matter if I'm using the sunless tanning booth, UV stand up or bed, when I enter the room it's always immaculate (spic and span clean), The bathroom included . The people and the service is grade A. When I walk in the door the staff always greets me by my name. If I'm running late Dina always squeezes me in a bed & the VeraSpa and has my e-juice ready for me as I run out the door at 10pm. And that's another great thing about The Hot Spot Monday- Friday they're open till 11pm and Saturday and Sunday they're open till 10pm. I'm telling you Hot Spot has the best deals & packages, the best up-to-date tanning technology, amazing people (staff), and service a very spacious location, and an open and welcoming environment. Hot Spot is one of my top 3 favorite places to tan! Thanks guys for always squeezing a girl in! 5 read more

I paid $75 for a spray tanning package that included 3 spray tans. The usual price per session is $30. I only get spray tans for special occasions so when I called to come in for my 3rd session I was informed that it had been over a year and that my package had expired. I understood that the promotional value had expired but I still paid $75 for only 2 spray tans. You would think that since a full price spray tan costs $30 and I only got 2, that I should still have $15 credit to use. This was not the case. At the end of the day $15 lost isn't that much money, but it's really the principle and feeling of being swindled that annoyed me.I have never encountered this issue at any other salon and will not return. read more

The owner is amazing! I don't go as often as I used to go when I was younger. I walked in the tanning salon after a year or so and the owner still remembered my name! I was amazing. It just shows how much she appreciates her customers. The tanning beds are always very clean and the staff at the front desk is always willing to help and explain everything. read more

Love this salon. When I go to tan I love good strong bulbs and this place has them. The owner changes them regularly. The prices are more than fair and just the maintenance of their beds keeps me a customer instead of going to another salon with fancy beds that don't change their bulbs. The girls that work there are down to earth and friendly. read more

Went in today for the first time and was immediately greeted by a woman at the desk. I told her it was my first time there and she began to tell me about the beds and current promotions (great deals I must say). Prices are super reasonable. I decided to try the Versa Spray. The nice woman actually led me to the room, explained every step the machine was going to do and was really informative. I love the color I got from the Versa Spray! Really natural and NOT orangey or streaky at all. It did not smell bad either. The salon is really clean and well organized. I will most definitely be back to the salon and for the Versa Spray! Awesome customer service, clean salon and great spray tan. I highly recommend this place and the Versa Spray! read more

Best Tanning Salon I've EVER been too..from the friendliness as soon as you walk in from the Staff members who are always so helpful, number of different specials and packages they offer on a daily basis to best fit your tanning wants and budget, the amount of beds and booths they have so you're in and out, always fully stocked with the newest lotions, change the bulbs frequently so your always getting the best tan possible. The location is a HUGE PLUS with access to a variety of different stores. Very clean salon && the Owners are the most nicest, kind people you'll ever meet!!! I highly recommend this tanning salon over any other salon. You'll always leave happy and tanned!!! read more

Once again the staff at Hot Spot Tanning and Vapor saved the day! On a very cold night I left my new vaporizer in the car. This tiny button inside which secures the battery got stuck. I tried in vain to fix it. I failed miserably. I mentioned this to KAYLA at Hot Spot. She said she could fix it. Which she did in under 3 minutes. I tried for over an hour lol. I was so thankful and grateful. It's the great customer service I receive at Hot Spot time and time again that keeps me coming back and singing their praise. It's a must for all your vaping essentials. THANX KAYLA... read more

I tried this tanning salon for the first time last week. My friend brought me in and we both ended up getting 50% off a package because she brought in a new customer. Best deal around. You bring in a new customer and you get 50% off a monthly package and you can bring in as many new customers as you want and you still get the half off price!! The employees were very helpful making sure I knew how to work the beds. I will definitely be coming back to Hot Spot. Great service, great equipment, and of course my awesome tan. So glad I found a new tanning salon. I would recommend it to everyone. read more

I went to The Hot Spot after snatching a Yelp deal a couple of summers ago. I was very impressed by the size and cleaniness of this place. The service was good and only once I had to wait about 5-10 minutes. Most of the time, however, I just walked right in. I guess it just depends on the day and time you go. I will definitely go back. read more

I haven't been tanning in a while, so I asked around and heard a few good things about Hot Spot. Close location to my work/gym/house/bf so I went in on Monday night to see what packages they had. The girl at the desk, I think Melissa, was surprisingly nice! I mean, its Reveahhh we're talking about, I always expect the worst, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The salon itself was well set up, very clean, no trash lying around, had a good inventory of lotions, and the beds/stand-ups themselves were new. I searched for a coupon online that I could not find (but I saw in store) contacted the site and I received an prompt email back saying my account would have a memo allowing me to use the one I saw on the postcards they send out. All in all, I would recommended Hot Spot. Most definitely over Revere Tanning. The customer service was great in store and online, and to me that is very important. A+ read more

love it here, the girl at the desk couldn't be more nice and so informative. It's always super clean and smells good. No waiting hardly ever for a bed and the deals are fab. I wish they would open one in Winthrop too! Hard to come by good customer service these days, some small businesses could take a lesson from their front desk behaviour. It's spot on! I went to Hot Spot the other day for a level 3 spray, the darkest tan they offer. It cost $25. Afterwards I noticed practically no difference. I frequently spray tan at other tanning salons with great results. I was led to believe my tan would graudually darken over the course of the day but it never happened. I asked the employee if I could go a second time and I was told by her I would need to pay again. I went as far as to speak with the manager who never returned my call. This place is a scam. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I've been tanning at a tanning salon in Everett for years. They just recently closed so I went on the hunt to find another local tanning salon. Signed up at a place in Wakefield and was unimpressed with the beds and vibe of the place. Next month I walked into Hot Spot and knew I found my new tanning salon! All the workers are upbeat and friendly. It's clean and rooms/beds are comfortable and always cleaned before you go in. The hours of operation are perfect open 7 days a week and open late! read more

By far, the BEST salon around! I remember the owner from when she worked at Revere Tanning, she is awesome!!! The salon is super clean, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the beds and booths are fantastic! You can tell they keep up with their equipment and change their bulbs often because you always get great color. In addition, the staff is not pushy with trying to force you into buying all kinds of additional items. They tastefully ask if you need eyewear and lotion and if you say no, they don't make you feel like you did something wrong. I give this salon an A+++ read more

By far the BEST tanning salon I have ever gone too. As soon as you walk in the door you are immediately greeted with a smile. I heard about Hot Spot through a mutual friend who only had positive things to say about it. I have now been a monthly customer here for 7 years and could never imagine going anywhere else. The cleanliness is far above expectations, the bulbs in both the beds and booths always give me the darkest color, the entire staff are the most sweetest girls and will actually talk to you like a friend, not just a customer. They always have specials going on to help save you money unlike some other tanning salons. They also give you 50% OFF on a full priced package if you bring in a new customer with you. Going to Hot Spot I know I will ALWAYS get my moneys worth! I highly recommend choosing to go there over anywhere else if you are looking for that overall PERFECT EXPERIENCE!! A++ read more
