I don't tan during the fall and winter months I go when it starts to get warmer so I ask about new products and what will help me get color faster etc. The owners are very kind, knowledgeable, and they are very happy with their business and it's clear because it's clean in there, the staff has been friendly every time I've been there and I've never seen anyone complain to the staff about anything while I've been there. read more

Best tanning facility I've been in, over the last 10 years of tanning. Extremely clean, quality beds and booths for any level of tan. The beds have controls for how cool you'd like the temperature of fans for face and body, adjust the strength of bulbs, also lightly mist if you want. Friendly owners and easy walk in service. I have been a regular at Golden Tan for years and I absolutely love it!!!! The beds/booths are top choice types! EVERYONE comments on how tan I get !! I can't say enough how unbelievable the service it! That is one of the biggest reasons I go. It is family owned and they make you feel like family every time you go in! They are so polite, professional , and great people. They make the store look so classy but with a home feel. I love to take a break out of the busy life and go for a great visit! I went in about a week or so ago and tried to get the student discount(which I am currently using through the Post 9/11 GI BILL) but since I am too old as I was told by the owners rude stepdaughter I went from paying $70.00 to $105.00 a month no big deal, until I found out how she noted my account like I was trying to pull a fast one on her. Golden Tan basically hates Veterans who have to go to school after their newly set age limit, next time explain, don't patronize longtime customers.... read more

First Yelp review ever. I felt compelled to do so because nothing bothers me more than lazy employees who lock up earlier than the posted hours. I arrived at Golden Tan on January 5, 2017, at 9:13pm. The door was locked, despite the hours on the door that said they were open until 9:30. Better yet, I called them and there was still someone inside!! They refused to come open the door, citing a policy they have that there are to be no new appointments made within 15 minutes of closing. I calmly explained to her that I had arrived at 9:13, and therefore still qualified to give them my business. I had been perfectly fine with their service until now, but I expect more out of a business than this--we all should. Last time I ever go there. read more

I am not your regular tanner, but your twice-a -year, vitamin D fix, and prep for bare arm season, tanner. Have been going here for years. Use to be one of the nicest, cleanest, top-notch tanning places around. New owners bought the place recently, and I am less than impressed. They are apparently re-doing things, but in the meantime, they have removed small mirrors that were in the tanning rooms, leaving either a hole or a nail/screw where the mirror used to be. The rooms just look junky. The bathroom is frequently out of toilet paper or towels, and they no longer have air conditioning!!! I realize I am going there to tan, but it's so stuffy without A/C, and I feel so bad for the staff that works there! I have met some of the new employees, and they are not nearly as friendly and welcoming as the previous employees were,. Probably won't be returning when my package runs out. What a disappointment after so many years of loving the place!!! :( read more

I love this place. The staff is super inviting, remember your name and make you feel #1. I am a germ-freak so the spotless floors, beds and surfaces really put me at ease. I like that I get greeted immediately and I'm asked if I have product with me or do I want to hear about specials, if I need eye protection or did I bring it with, etc. I have done beds like this for 10+ years (I am SOOOOO white without a tanning bed every 4-7 weeks! and other places I've gone could care less--they just want the money. Try this place after a bitchin' day; you come out feeling re-energized and happy. The music is great; the staff is really hip (and they just transfer that good positive energy to customers). While this is indeed a very stylish and clean place, the tanning beds just do not do it- tan your skin, that is. I don't know what kind of bulbs they use, but you barely see any results to no results at all. The place is also pretty pricey for not doing what they promise. They do have a variety of lotions available, and it is a pretty comfortable atmosphere, but usually the music is way too loud. I have not tried their stand up tanners before, nor any sunless tanning option they may have. However, the tanning beds they have just don't do what they are supposed to do. I'm used to European tanning beds- with which you'll see results even after the first time (and prices for tanning are very inexpensive!). Unfortunately, I'll have to keep looking. read more

Golden tan is simply the best. Their prices are amazing for what you are getting. The beds/ standups are always clean and the service is awesome. Marisa L's price of a level 2 for 100 is absurdly inaccurate. I believe it is somewhere around $13 a session for a level 2 so you are completely getting your moneys worth. Their level two is around $55-60 and is well worth it. I have never had to wait and always leave happy. read more

I've been going to GT for over 2 years now, not only is this salon one of the cleanest I've ever been to, the beds and booths are taken care of so well and the staff is nothing but beyond helpful... They don't lie or push expensive products or services, they're honest with opinion... When I first started tanning there years ago, I was using the highest level beds (also most expensive) and the staff actually told me I should downgrade to a lower level... Aka, clearly not all about the money and realistic about helping their customers. Don't believe any reviews on here, whether or not they're good or bad.. Go in for yourself. Today was my first time at Golden Tan. I signed up for a month unlimited in their Level 1 (15min bed/12min standup). For $34 I was pleased with the price. I only purchased the tanning but they do have lotion, etc. for sale. The customer service was ok and the salon was empty but overall the place was super clean, comfortable, and easy to work with. I'll be back to write again when I know more! read more

Went there last week for the first and last time,the place appeared to be clean but what really turned me off was the girls attitude behind the counter im glad that there are sites like this to warn other consumers before they spend their hard earned money,on a buisness that employees people who are rude to their potential customers,..ill take my buisness elsewhere and I suggest you do too. read more

I've been a Golden Tan customer since it first opened up...few yrs ago. The staff always greeting you with a smile and making sure all your questions are answered. Even when I occasionally call with questions, staff always answer within the 1st or 2nd ring. I have seen other tanning salons in the past and decided to start my tanning experience at Golden Tan bc of 2 major reasons: 1. This place is SPOTLESS. 2. Parking is NEVER an issue. The owner does an amazing job keeping this place as stylish as possible. The decor in there changes every few months. Even if I have to wait 5 minutes for my tanning booth I dont mind at all bc i enjoy sitting on those comfortable couches and reading People magazine...the atmosphere in there is both classic and modern. I always wonder where the furniture is bought. The music of course is also unique which actually pumps u up! Also the staff seem to have a very good relationship with the owner which is always nice to see as a customer. At my recent visit, yesterday, I noticed this place had once again changed but to the extreme! I havent been there for few months and going back I've noticed the waiting area decor changed: it was spacious before but now theres even MORE space. Also the tanning booths were moved to a different area in the salon so to give them more privacy when customers use them ( great idea!) There might possibly be more changes but i probably didnt get the chance to see them bc I was in a rush. Another awesome thing about the staff at Golden tan is that although you may not be a regular daily or every other day customer, no matter when you go back to them, they rememebr your name and find you in the system immediately. :-) I decided to write this review bc I've realized that this tanning salon is really the best around my area.
