My husband and I were coming down from Vermont and researched the Boston area as we were flying out of Logan the next morning. I emailed Bare Bottom and Kellie and I had exchanged a few emails... I've been disappointed in the past with inferior spray tan jobs but Kellie reassured me I'd love the tan. I saw a pic on Instagram of a spray tan job she did and I absolutely loved it. Upon arrival Kellie was very warm and welcoming. She did an excellent custom spray on me and while we are currently in a clothing optional resort in Florida I feel great not being ghost white!! *Update: It's now 3 days post spray tan and the tan hasn't even faded a bit. The color Kellie and I chose was perfect shade for our trip!! **Just a heads up if your a male getting a spray tan Bare Bottom requires you to wear some sort of underwear read more

I have been to a number of tanning salons over the years. Bare Botton Tanning is by far the most professional and informative out there! From the moment you walk in the door you feel comfortable putting your trust (and body) in their hands. The knowledge the technicians have is outstanding. Whether you are a regular tanning or spray tanning person or just planning for an event or trip, this is the place to go! read more

Best spray tan of my LIFE! I had Kelly do an airbrush spray tan for my bachelorette party a few weeks ago and I will now be coming for spray tans here forever!! Kelly is so welcoming and knowledgeable, I immediately trusted her. The cherry on top was the glass of Prosecco she gave me to sip on while I dried. The tan was so natural looking and I had zero streaks or spotty areas. 10000/10 recommend!!! read more

If I could give this tanning salon 10 stars, I would. I've always self tanned but I wanted to give a professional spray down a try before my spring break trip to Florida. Kelly was so helpful and informative about what proper measures I should take over the phone prior to my arrival and was absolutely thorough in aftercare to make my tan last. We discussed what color I was looking to achieve and she suggested I try their 12%- absolutely obsessed! I couldn't believe how natural the tan looked, as if I had been on the beach a week prior to my arrival to Florida. I really appreciate how thorough of a job Kelly does, you can tell she cares and wants you to leave being satisfied with your tan and makes sure to take a 3 part process and not rush to ensure you're body is fully coated and contoured. I have to say I was a little intimidated to be hand sprayed but Kellys has such an amazing and genuine personality, she is truly so friendly and encouraging which I believe took this experience to another level, making me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful. By using her proper advice for aftercare my tan lasted beautiful, even going in the ocean, hot tub and using tanning oils throughout the week. Even after my trip the tan faded very evenly and nice, which I'm happy I could avoid it looking blotchy and patchy. I love the 12% and the experience that Kelly creates for her customers so it's safe to say I'm hooked on this tanning salon, she is able to customize your look based on your preferences and goes above and beyond to take her time and make sure it looks good. She clearly cares about making you comfortable and achieving your desired look. I believe the prices are extremely reasonable especially for how much effort and thought is behind her work, and in my opinion feeling confident and encouraged is priceless, so if you're looking for an exceptional above and beyond spray tan with the added bonus of a hype women, look no further and come here, you won't regret it!! *attached are photos with no filters read more

Kelly did my spray tan before my wedding and did such a great job! It was my first time getting a spray tan and she was so kind and professional and made me feel comfortable. She requested a picture of the dress and did such a great job highlighting the parts of my body that would be shown such as collar bones. She was so thought our on her approach and I would highly recommend for anyone considering a spray tan! Thanks Kelly! read more

Okay so let me start this by saying I've only had one spray tan before coming into Bare Bottom Tanning Salon and was a little nervous to say the least. My first experience was in a stand up booth and just think of the Friends episode where Ross gets a spray tan....My co-workers were raving about Bare Bottom and how awesome the staff is and that is a great experience. I finally decided to pull the trigger and called to setup an appointment. Kelly helped me book the appointment and she provided me with a bunch of information on what to wear/how to prepare for the spray tan. She also reassured me that I will in fact not look like Ross Geller. When I arrived to my appointment didn't have to wait at all and Ashley brought me right back to the room. She asked me what type of tan I was looking for and recommended an 8% for me. I am super pale and at times reflective so this was a good choice. They have a lot of options and will work with your skin tone to get the perfect tan. They do offer disposable underwear so that you do not ruin yours if you choose to wear them. Once I was ready for the spray tan, Ashley came back into the room, turned the lights on and got started. Don't get me wrong, standing half naked in a room with lights on you can feel uncomfortable however Ashley was so professional and easy to talk to and before long, she was done with the spray tan. They offer this powder that they can put on after the spray tan so you don't feel as sticky. They also recommend that you do not shower for 6-8 hours after you get the spray tan and to wear long, dark, loose clothing when leaving the appointment and I slept in so my white sheets didn't get tan. I would absolutely recommend Bare Bottom Tanning to anyone who is looking for the perfect spray tan. The staff was level of service was amazing and I will absolutely be back! read more

as someone who never had a spray tan in my life i was worried that the outcome would make me look too dark but when i say this made me look amazing and in a way alive! the staff here is outright amazing and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable here! i suggest Bare Bottom Tanning to all my friends!! the results are so good here to the point i just went back and got it done again! read more

Clean facilities, pleasant staff, and well located. Of all of the options in the area, this was by far the best.

My spray tan experience at bare bottom was amazing!! Will be going back. My tan was very well done and lasted a while!

Kellie is beyond friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The beds are always extremely clean. I went with the matrix package to prepare for a trip to Europe. The pricing is great, and Kellie did not push or try and upsell in any way. Would refer any and everyone to Bare Bottom. read more

Thinking about it? Just go. Seriously just call and book an appointment. (It will be easy I promise) The easiest way to say it is: They're amazing. Is it clean? Yup. Is the staff friendly? Yes- and also hilarious. Are the prices reasonable? Absolutely How's their product knowledge? Fantastic. I'm essentially see through and have no idea what I need and they know for me. Are they super pushy sales people? Nope. They'll offer products to go with your service but it is NOT in a pressuring way. Is it weird to be mostly naked with them? Negative. And this one I can't stress enough. I am someone who is hyper critical of themselves and at no point have I ever felt uncomfortable or judged or anything other than at ease there. read more

Absolutely love getting spray tans here. They always come out so even and stunning. A lot of people complain that they feel they look orange after a spray tan but NEVER at bare bottom. It looks natural and lasts for over a week if you take care of it correctly. I also buy their bottles of the spray tan to take with me on every vacation to keep my face looking freshly sprayed!! Kelly always fits me in for a spray! I will forever get sprayed at bare bottom!! read more

Omg I look so good with a tan! Thanks to Kerry and her instant airbrush spray tan I was able to walk into an event looking like I had been to Barbados and just arrived fresh off the plane. I loved the process- you walk in, you strip down to paper underwear, put on a head net, get into a tiled space with changeable paper on the floor, stand in position, and get sprayed by Kerry. If you don't want to get your boobs out this may be an issue- so get over it and just get sprayed. I did it at 1:45 and by 6:30 I went into the shower and rinsed. I was perfection! Thanks Kerry! Patience is a virtue I don't have - and this was instant gratification! read more

If you've ever dreamed about standing naked in front of a woman, with bright lights shining on you while she sprays cold dark liquid all over each and every roll and dimple on your body than this is the place for you! I wanted to get a spray tan to camouflage my ghost white legs before going on my first warm weather vacation in well over a year. I had gone to Bare bottom years ago (before kids and life) so I decided to go back and visit Kellie again. I am so happy I did. Kellie makes you feel unbelievably comfortable despite the fact that your cold and naked. She skillfully applies the perfect spray tan while discussing exciting topics like goats, south African tribal dancers and murder robes. If this sounds like your idea of a good time then DO NOT HESITATE. Go see Kellie ASAP and get sprayed! read more

I come in for spray tans regularly and see Jillian. Jillian is professional, kind and makes you feel at ease immediately. (Hey, it's hard stripping down to your undies in front of someone haha) The formula that Bare Bottom uses is wonderful and leaves you with a nice bronzed glow versus the dreaded organgey tint. Jillian discusses with you how deep of a color you would like to achieve before she decides what level color to use on you. I have never been disappointed she aims to make you feel good with your color. The prices are reasonable and you can buy packages if you want. read more

This is my third time coming here for a spray tan. I cannot speak more highly of Bare Bottom. I had never gotten a spray tan before so searched on Yelp and Bare Bottom came up with all 5 star reviews. After reading a few I was sold. Everything was explained really well and they were all super helpful in explaining how to prep for a spray tan when I called back with questions. Kellie is phenomenal and so good at what she does. The results here are amazing and they last. Look no further, this is the place you should be going to. read more

Wonderful! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They make going to get a spray tan so fun and enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend!

Best place to get a spray tan hands down!! Found this place online and I'll never go anywhere else. Got spray tans for my bachelorette party and then my wedding and got so many compliments on how natural it looked. This is the only place I've been where I feel like I end up looking actually tan and not at all orange. It also just gradually fades and doesn't get splotchy. So happy to have found this place!! read more

I have been going to Bare Bottoms for air brush spray tan for 3 years and Kelly is the best. I look refreshed and most important natural. I always get one prior to vacation so that I am not the white ghost on the beach! Would highly recommend Bare Bottom! See you next week, heading to Sri Lanka. read more

Kellie is hands down the best spray tan artist in this area! She is meticulous and a true expert. I have known Kellie for years and have never left feeling anything less than utterly radiant. The solution she uses is not drying on my sensitive skin; it fades beautifully never streaking or creating patches as it wears off. Unlike most other spray tan places, Kellie uses TWO hand guns for your spray. The smaller one being a contour gun that perfectly outlines and accentuates your favorite features. The contour process is my favorite part! I don't have to wear makeup on my face and it's a quick way to ensure the perfect beach bod! Getting a spray is quick and easy and with Kellies nurturing and kind-hearted nature, you always feel well taken care of and 110% comfortable. You will not be disappointed! read more

I love coming here. A couple owns and alternates running this place. They happily take walk-ins, but try to schedule ahead. You are always greeted with a smile. They have relatively cheap package deals. Twenty visits for fifty-something dollars. The beds are clean and curved for a better tan. 94.5 tunes mellow out in the fans' background noise. Plus, they have good magazines and TV while you are waiting. read more

This is my happy place!!! Kelley is so friendly and professional. She goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with your results and experience. I absolutely love my tan and give Bare Bottom my highest recommendation!! read more
