I got the BEST airbrush spray tan yesterday! I love the results and it looks so seamless. No streaks or weird transitions. I wish I lived closer so this could be my go-to place. read more

A glowing reference. I belonged to Palm Beach tanning which shut down recently and honestly I'm glad it did. I can't believe it took a poor Tanning business shutting down for me to find this great one. The quality of the place, the thoughtfulness of the decoration and the great service from owner Jenna who clearly cares really outshines the chain that is Palm Beach Tan. I highly recommend this place to anybody that wants some color with a dose of high quality service read more

Glow - Spray Tanning Near Me - Watertown, Massachusetts

If anyone is looking for tanning salon near them, take this as your sign to come to Glow. I'm a nearby college student, and I can confidently say this is one of the most incredible tanning salons. Not only is it absolutely beautiful with complimentary water, coffee, and even lollipops, but the staff is so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have used both the tanning beds and spray tan machines, and I always look amazing after a trip to Glow. Sadly, I'm moving away after my graduation, but I love this place so much and I hope all of you do as well! read more

I've gotten maybe half a dozen spray tans here now. They are easy to book online and last several days. I always feel confident after getting the original color. read more

I love Glow in Watertown. The staff members are very educated and just plain nice. I never have to wait, the beds are always clean, and the atmosphere is just downright comfortable feeling... I would recommend Glow in Watertown to anybody that seeks to pamper themselves because they know they're worth it! read more

Yesterday, my friend and I got a really good tan in a clean somewhat friendly tanning salon. Which I was told would cost $32 for both of us. So I put it on my credit card and sign the credit card pad and declined the paper receipt. When I got home I got a text message from my bank saying I've been charged $60. When I called back the next day, she Said that level three tannings were $29 each. Since I didn't have a receipt there was really nothing I could do. I have a feeling that they do this all the time, so when the "glow girl" asks if you would like a receipt, make sure you get one because if not, you'll be charged $29 instead of 16. read more

Wonderful facility. Helpful staff. My sister found Glow and referred me here and I had two sessions of the spray tanning. I am feeling great for our wedding! read more

Best spray tan around! I've gone to other places in a pinch and have always regretted it. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and my tan is always even and dark. Best bang for your buck. read more

When you turn onto the street you will think that there is no way it's 500ft on the right but as you keep going it's right around the corner with a green sign that says glow on the right. As you first walk in you will be greeted with a smile and awesome conversation that makes you not only feel welcomed but also at home. On the 1st of every month they do a special to get new members and that's how they got me! $19.99 for level 1 beds for 30 days no commitment. If you want a level up its not that much at all! For a 1 month package with the level 3 bed/standup it's only $54.00! So definitely take advantage of this because this place is a hidden gem! read more

I just discovered this location and so far so good. The equipment was in good condition and very clean. They had a few stand up beds levels 1-4 and a few beds that I didn't explore. Overall a decent location for tanning. I did enjoy how this location appeared to have more locals than college kids however I think the price may be the deterrent. A bit on the higher price end but I will return! The one thing I didn't understand is some of the confusing pricing. I will have to inquire next time. read more

I came to Glow to get a spray tan for a holiday party. I always get nervous with new studios (looking orange, uneven). Glow has a spray tan machine, which I was also nervous about because I always had a woman personally do it. I LOVED IT. 10/10 will go back. I was not orange (once I rinsed, the tan looked natural) The associate at the front desk was SO sweet. It was quick, easy! Highly recommend!! read more

Went for my first spray tan and the ladies answered all of my questions and told my how to prepare. Super awesome with showing me how the booth worked and what to do before and after. Will definitely be back! The tan itself was beautiful ! Not orange and I loved it! read more

I purchased a 3 spray tan package just a few weeks before the pandemic began. I used 1 at the time of purchase and 2 were not used due to the fact I became pregnant shortly after the salon reopened. Glow extended their package expiration policy by 3 months, but this fell almost exactly on my due date so getting a spray wasn't in the cards. I just called today to inquire about my package and explained my pregnancy and also how my son was born with significant health problems requiring me to take an additional medical leave. I was told by the highest level of management that I had every opportunity to use my package and "they can't give away their services for free". I understand these are hard time for businesses, but I've only experienced incredible customer service from all companies during these times. People actually caring about other people! In short my life is now getting back to normal with many weddings and spray tans ahead! Unfortunately I will not be getting these services from Glow. read more

Such a loving and warm experience at Glow! Amy, Jenna and Elyse are excellent women with such positivity that you would want to be around them on your important days. They worked their magic and made me look stunning. Amy asks you the right questions to get the make-up on fleek and Elyse works on your hair like a mother- so gentle yet to the point ! Jenna is amazing too! She welcomes you with open arms and makes you relax and feel at home almost instantly! So, get Glowing already ;) read more

Love. Love. LOVE. this location. I have been a customer here for years so this review is way overdue. Tonight I went in for a sunless spray tan and they have the new Norvell system. It's new and high end technology. Amazing experience. Amanda is wonderful and really friendly. 60 sec demo to watch on an iPad and she walked me through everything before I went in. The booth literally talks you through the process. It's specific to your height, is heated and has dryers to speed up the drying process. Just amazing. This is the best new spray tan on the block. You will never go back to Mystic after using Norvell. They have traditional tanning beds and stand ups. Can't wait to go back. read more

Great customer service, responsive management and I'm very satisfied with the end result. So glad that they are back open! Looking forward to another season. read more

As it was my tan-niversary with Glow two days ago, I thought this might be the time to update my review. Ever since my last review, I tried all the machines from level 2 to 4. I've always felt that they are clean and well maintained which I think is very important for a tanning salon. Jenna, the owner, is the sweetest person I've ever met. She is very kind and I can see that she puts the convenience of the customers first. I think that's why all the members come in with huge smiles on their faces. Other staffs who work there are all very nice and sweet too:) Amy is the ultimate multiplayer. She does waxing, facials, makeup and even brow & lashes tinting. I almost anticipate for some sort of event like friend's wedding so that I can get my makeup done by her as I've seen so many awesome works of hers! Last but not least, or maybe most important, you can get 40% discount for unlimited if you if you join on the first day of each month! I usually purchase level 4 unlimited but as I'm tanning outdoors too during summer I bought level 2 for this month(and they were so cool with that too!) it only costed $52.79! For unlimited! I just love going to Glow because I feel so welcomed and the place is full of positive vibe that it at some point has become a part of my life. If you're considering getting tanned, wouldn't this kind of tanning salon be the best option? read more

I've been coming here for my spray tans and tanning beds for a few years now! I love it here at GLOW, all of the girls are so nice. The spray tans are amazing, I use the venetian solution for my more olive toned skin tone and it's always so perfect and lasts almost a week! The beds are great too and they have awesome monthly package deals and great prices. read more

Great little spot in Watertown that gives a pretty consistent spray tan. Pros: Easy to make appointments online Almost always available when I need to pop in for one The tans last several days and are even and natural looking (except the rapid one) Cons: The rapid one has washed off the same night I got it on two occasions. The first time I called and they said "sometimes people lie and say they didn't use dove soap and they did". Seemed weird to accuse customers of lying, and I don't use dove ever but I just assumed I had done something wrong. I asked if I could get some money back and she said she would call me back, never did. I tried a rapid again and got the same results. Now I just do the regular ones The groupons are only good for new customers!! Beware they will not honor this. Overall the tan is great and I will return for that. But the business and customer loyalty could be better. It always kind of rubs me the wrong way when places don't treat their customers well. read more

I've been here once before because it was recommended by a friend and had an awesome experience. I walked in without an appointment since I was in the area (don't recommend-call first!) and they were able to squeeze me in. The girls were super nice and understanding. They gave me all the info and tips I needed for my spray tan in the machine. It turned out so even and natural and I'll for sure be back throughout the summer and before any vacation/event I want a good tan for! read more

Can't get a better tanning Spot! Little pricey but worth it, clean beds, experienced staff, good hours. read more

The bed (i think level 4) was very nice. i liked it a lot. the face lamps felt strong (but in a good way.) This place is a little pricey but what tanning salon isnt these days.... i will go back, the price makes it not my favorite but the beds are great and you pay for what you get. read more

Became aware of this place from Groupon (yet again) where I bought an extremely reasonable package for 3 visits for spray tanning. I have only gone once so far, but it came out very well/natural and lasted for about 10 days. At this visit I became aware that they do eye lash lift and tints. Very reasonably priced and great results. Lasted forever! Very clean and inviting. It is right next to the UPS store in Watertown by the Arsenal Mall. Little hole in the wall. So cute! read more

This place was AMAZING! It was clean and very hip inside. The staff were super great and helpful. Jenna and Taline were the BEST they were helpful and very personable. I recommend this place to anyone. Great first time experience I will be definitely be back. read more

I decided to book a spray tan at Glow as a little self care pick me up. I have only had one spray tan before, several years ago so I am pretty unfamiliar with the process especially with the automatic machine. Jenna was SO nice and patient explaining the instructions of the spraying process. I've worked in customer service for several years and I can see how explaining these instructions from beginning to end could get old, but she was so genuinely nice and didn't seem to just be going through the motions. Her kindness was really appreciated and made it a pleasant experience overall. I'm so happy to have found a great salon to come to regularly! read more

I loved my makeup done by Amy! She was very accommodating in squeezing me in her very busy schedule and it came out beautiful! A professional environment that's warm friendly and open! I would recommend glow to any of my clients and friends! read more

I love Glow! It's a nicely run, clean salon. I only go for indoor tanning to keep my summer color going and to combat the winter blues - the beds and booths have always been clean. And the staff is great! All the girls are so nice and knowledgeable about their services. It's a nice atmosphere and they make you feel very welcome. read more

Manager is great... very helpful. Great tanning beds. I've gone to other tanning salons in the area and this is by far the best.

I purchased a groupon for a spray tan in February and held onto it until June when we had our engagement pictures. I had no problems and loved the salon so I decided to purchase another Groupon for another spray tan 3 weeks later for my fiance's graduation. I purchased a second groupon for an additional spray tan, called and made the appt. I gave them my name (which they had in the system from my previous appt) and told them I had a groupon for the spray tan... again, no problem, they scheduled me an appt for 10:15 AM the next day. I arrive today for my 10:15 AM appointment, gave the woman my name and she goes "$26." I explained I had the groupon and she said, "no, you can't use that." I was confused and she explained that I failed to read the fine print which states, "Valid only for clients who have not been active in the salon within the past 6 months." Oops. My fault for missing that, HOWEVER, I should have been told that when I called to schedule this appointment. Instead, I drove 25+mins to this salon to be treated horribly. In a very rude tone, the girl told me to call Groupon and ask for a refund. I called groupon in the parking lot and they didn't even want to refund me because they could not understand why they would not let me use it. I walked back in the salon and asked to speak to a manager. I was then told the woman I had been speaking with was a manager. HA. She then started talking about how much she hates groupon and how groupon's are "the worst." As a manager, if you have such a problem with people using groupons, DO NOT participate with it! Simple. Initially, I was going to pay the $26 because I was already there, but the managers rude and unprofessional attitude turned me away. I had NO interest in giving my business to this salon. Instead, I found a nice salon in Davis Square to get my spray tan. I would advise finding a professional manager that treats customers respectfully and DO NOT participate with groupon if you have such a problem with it! read more

I don't usually tan but this winter was epic and as someone from the south who is use to getting a little more sun this place was clutch. Very clean, lots of different options and knowledgeable about their product. Jenna was very helpful! Even if you don't tan, I recommend dropping in from time to time during those deep winter months for some vitamin D. read more

I just went to Glow Tanning this evening for a spray tan and have nothing but positive things to say. It was easy to make an appointment - pretty open availability. I went in about an hour later, and since I was completely clueless (haven't been to a Mystic tan before), the woman working talked me through it. She was very helpful, informative, and had some good tips (lotion up your cuticles, hands, and feet, and pat dry). Super nice, clean beds, and friendly staff. I'll definitely go back for tanning in the future. read more

I tried out this tanning salon last week. I have a wedding to attend and I wanted to have a sunless tan to look better in my dress. Jenna was amazing! So very helpful. I had a wonderful experience. Glow and Angelic are a life saver. I had my engagement photo shoot scheduled Memorial Day weekend and I come to find out my normal spray tan salon closed unexpectedly for the weekend. I'm not originally from MA and it feels weird to have to find a new doctor, hair dresser - you name it. There's a certain amount of risk involved. Luckily I found a reliable place to tan if I want to. I've been to glow a few times now and feel comfortable there. Amanda was extremely helpful my first day (she spent a lot of time explaining pricing / packages to me- which can sometimes be confusing at tanning places) and the staff continues to be friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone - and a plus is that they have easy parking. read more

This salon is the absolute best around. I have been to many others and they don't compare. Glow has such a warm vibe and everyone is so friendly. Not only do they have tanning, but they also now offer waxing, eyebrow tinting, and much more. Jenna, the manager, is phenomenal. She truly cares about all of her clients and is very helpful. Jenna is always upgrading the salon to give everyone the best experience possible. read more

What inspired me to write this review was that for many years I've been searching for a really good Eyebrow Wax. I grew my eyebrows out for months because I was tired of trying new places in the area and being frustrated with the results and spending money on something that left me feeling worse. I made an appointment here with Amy and it was the greatest experience! She has such a gentle touch and there was no anticipation of the pain to come! After pulling the strip off she put her slightly-cold hands over the affected area and it felt so relieving! She really has a trick to making the experience as comfortable as possible! My eyebrows turned out perfect! I felt like they were photo-shopped onto my face permanently! I didn't have the typical red-puffy reaction that occurs at other salons. I've been coming to this Salon for over 10 years now. It was originally under a different name and then it was bought out and changed to Glow. That was a great change but in this past year it was bought out again and this time it is better than EVER!!! The new owner is almost always in the building, she is extremely involved in the quality of care received by anyone who walks through the door. It seems less like a tanning center and more the a beauty/life enhancing club! I am so grateful for all of their changes and I'm excited to see what new innovative beauty secrets are to come!!!! read more
