We are from the Chicago area visiting Lynnwood as it is centrally located to all of our Washington family members. We stopped here because it was close to a walking trail we had planned to visit. WHAT AN AMAZING FIND! The food and service were great! We had the garlic brie, Brussel sprout special and steak bites appetizers - the juice from the steak bites was great to soak up with the garlic bread that came with our dinners. Probably the best clam chowder we've ever had. Seafood linguini alfredo had a creamy sauce with the perfect consistency to compliment, not over power, and was full of shrimp, scallops, clams and fish. Our niece has the chicken & artichoke dinner and was also blown away by the flavor - she did NOT have any leftovers to bring home to her husband. Our son opted for Gyros and said it was very good as well. Food was well priced for quality and portion size. We will look for them on our next visit and will likely visit at least 1 more time this trip. read more

Very Charming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. My wife and I visited this place a week or so ago for the first time, and long story short, we'll be back! The food is tasty and their selection of beer on tap is great as well. It was a very nice evening out, we are looking forward to going back. My first time coming here, I must say I am very happy with my lunch choice and will definitely be back. We had the crab and shrimp dip. A must have! Nice little neighborhood spot. Small but pretty nice inside. Took the kids and have a kids menu and also Happy Hour everyday til 6pm. Took the recommendations. Both were excellent. Very disappointed! The service here is horrible! Had linguini and clams the meal had so much sand and dirt in it from the clams( or dirty plates) When I told our server she asked me if I wanted the cook to redo the meal or if I wanted to order something else. I told her no I did not want anything she just stared at me did not remove the plate completely ignored us. My husband had to go find her so we could get the check. We haven't been to the Hook in quite a while and we're glad we did tonight. My husband's flat iron steak salad was tender and very good. I had margherita flat bread pizza without tomatoes sauce and ate the whole thing! It was very good. Service was very good. We were told their desserts are great but we skipped it this time. Delicious! If you're a fish lover you need to try this place out. We ordered calamari and crab&shrimp dip with pitas. The calamari wasn't the perfect slim deep fried kind I'm used to. It was thick and fried. The crab and shrimp dip was TO DIE FOR. So buttery and filled with melted parmesan. We ordered another with our entrees. The regular burger was very filling and tasty. The three cheese flat bread wad OK, nothing in comparison to the appetizer we order 2 of. We also ordered a guava mojito. The funny thing was that it tasted just like juice...I think they forgot the alcohol in it but our waitress insisted there was some in and we were still charged for it. I'm very sensitive to the taste of alcohol (my husband ordered it) and I know there wasn't any in it. We said okay and ordered a long island iced tea, which was strong. We ended it with Reeses cake. Thanks to our waiter Robbie, I was able to enjoy an egg-free breakfast, despite a 100% egg dish menu! Their brunch is one page of breakfast items and the other side is lunch items. The chef made me a scramble of potatoes and meat; an egg-free version of the "Joe." Much appreciated! And Robbie checked in with us several times to be sure I wasn't having an allergic reaction. As always I am very excited to try new restaurants, especially when they are in Edmonds and minutes from me. We came in for a light lunch and to check out the menu. The vibe inside is nice and trendy, they have a fairly large, full bar. We ordered some salads, I had the shrimp Caesar and it was fresh. We also ordered a side of fries. The fries are nice and crispy. The menu looks very promising and I will be back for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu has a good selection of seafood and a variety of burgers. They offer daily specials and have happy hour 3-6pm and 9-close. read more

Been waiting for this spot to open, certainly was not worth the wait. lunch today was very disappointy. Ordered grilled shrimp po boy with bell peppers and onions. Shrimp was deep fried with one thin slice of onion and one of green bell pepper. Husband asked to have his fish grilled but the chef said it already comes breaded and couldn't be prepared that way. So it was soup and salad for him. The chicken and rice soup was inedible, but at least the comped the soup. We won't be going back. read more

This is a great restaurant. We have gone there several times. This last time I have the Chicken Artichoke dinner. It was excellent. We finished it off with the dessert Beignets.,, klller!!! I love those and usually you have to go to New Orleans for good ones. The staff is always pleasant. We usually drop in there as a group of 10-12. They are always ready to accommodate us. Gosh, I want to like this place. Perrinville needs something like this badly and it seemed to have a lot of promise before it opened. I have dined twice here and both times were absolutely mediocre. The ambiance is lacking--it possesses no warmth or any vibe other than "very new restaurant with no personality" (no booths, minimal decor, sterile walls and atmosphere). The service is also sub-par. We ordered veggies on the side with our fish and chips and they took so long to arrive that we had finished our meals when they finally did. I didn't intend for broccoli to be dessert. I ordered milk for my toddler and after some time the server came out with juice in her hand and informed me they were out of milk but would he like juice instead. Uh, lady, you obviously don't have kids. I would have appreciated the question BEFORE you brought the juice box out so I could tell you actually no, I don't want a Capri Sun, thanks. The food is very, very mediocre for the price point. Neither quality not quantity is notable. The fish and chips is especially disappointing for a place that says fish is a specialty. It almost seems like frozen fish-finger style and the portions are laughable. I may give it one more try with much lower expectations than I had on my previous visits. read more

I have to rave about the Sunday mornings there during football season. This is an excellent place to watch the Seahawks games. They offer a Sunday brunch, happy hour prices on food and bar drinks. The first time we tried to eat here the parking lot was completely full...good sign? So we tried again the next Saturday. We arrived at 6:30 and were told it would be a 20 min wait. Fine with me, considering the packed parking lot and time I figured a lot more of a wait. We were seated 10 min later. My husband ordered the salmon and chips and I ordered the prawn gyro with a salad. My husband loved the salmon n chips but he wished they were bigger. My gyro was good. Finally remembered to try this place out! It's nice to have a restaurant in Perrinville. Nice atmosphere, and our service was really good without being cloying. My son had the oysters and chips and cole slaw which he loved. The fries were amazing, crispy and soft all at the same time and seasoned perfectly. I had the gyro salad which was more of a miss, but everything can't be good right? The dressing was overwhelmingly garlicky and it included green peppers and a ton of raw chunks of purple onion, which nobody wants to eat. That said, it serves me right for ordering a greek salad at a fish place! I also had a bloody Maria ( Bloody Mary with tequila instead of vodka), which was pretty solid and came with some nicely pickled dilly beans. Delicious! Came here for my mother in laws birthday and the food was spectacular! Even the veggie side dish and orzo pasta was perfect!! Our server was great until it came to closing out the checks we sat there waiting for at least 15 minutes to be closed out to leave. The décor is industrial I guess, with cement floors and neon signs.The person who brought my order was not seen again, at least not close enough to speak to, after putting down the food. No check in to see if the food was okay, or I needed anything else, no offer of another drink, no refill on my water. The food was okay, but the service was not. Nothing about the experience makes me want to return. Just a heads up...this is another place where people are apparently welcome to bring their dogs. As in a spaniel-sized dog, carried in a person's arms, into the dining room. I find the whole idea of dogs, or any non-service animal, in a restaurant absolutely disgusting. read more

I'd been wanting to try this place for a while...glad i finally did! Driving home one night i popped in for dinner. First to impress me was the menu - they have what i consider some delicious twists on some common items, example, "prawn gyro". I haven't tried it yet, but eventually i will! Specifics escape my memory but I remember NOT being disappointed with with the wine list, and I tried a Oregon Pinot Noir, I'll share the name when I remember, but I'll definitely go back for it.The kitchen was viewable from the the bar and I could see the cooks preppin', cooking and doin' their thing...I liked that. To date I've had the "chicken and artichokes"...twice, both times delicious! I"m a very picky eater. I'm glad the Lynnwood area finally has a restaurant that satisfies that characteristic in me. read more
