This review is strictly for rental department. I've been here 3 different times and all 3 times each visit has been extremely weird. The first time I was there a guy did an okay job getting me what I needed and he stayed past his shift to finish helping me, but he and another worker kept complaining about how lazy a guy named Jose is. I'm sorry you have a lazy employee on your team but I don't need to hear this. The second time I was there I waited at least 15 minutes for someone to come assist me. I even called the store and got hold of a manager (Kim?) and it still took this long. The guy that helped me did the same thing as the last 2, complained about Jose more than I cared and did an okay job. The 3rd time I got there and as soon as I walked in and old guy at least over 60 helped me right away and did a great job. As he was finishing up some punk kid walked by and told the old man he's taking another break. The old man said "okay Jose." I laughed. This place did okay, probably would hurt to get rid of this Jose guy. read more

I came in with my fiance on 4-21-2026 at 1245 pm. We were there trying to get chicken wire and the employees were using forklift and was told we had to wait. It was outside garden on a stand up forklift. We had no issue waiting 5 min or so but we are instacarting and our time is valuable and we lose money the longer we wait. I after 15 min of waiting I said can we please just get item since it was right by us and was told we couldn't do it because of safety. I mentioned that the customers come first and that we shouldn't have to wait anytime at all. We grabbed the stuff in under 30 sec. I was then argued with by the employees that were in that area at the time. They said that customers have to wait even if it's for a long period of time which is not ok and shows the lack of training by home Depot and their supervisor shows they don't care about customers and only are there for a paycheck. I was never talked to by their direct manager though I asked 2 times it embarrassing that the customer is not able to come in and get what they want in a quick and efficient matter. I would never come here unless it's for instacart .. retrain employees and actually make them pay attention and make sure they actually watch it. Also how many spotters does it take to help with the forklift. I saw about 6 employees standing around just watching. Also shouldn't need to block off two adjacent isles. I can see why this home Depot is only 2 stars. What a complete joke of employees and asking for a supervisor 2 times and no one talked at all to us about what happened. I had to stop in and give a shout out to an amazing manager, Kim W. And the kitchen coordinator Roxie. I have to say both of these ladies were totally helpful with us during an extreme stressful situation with our kitchen. With my ADHD I tend to ramble on, and they just sat there, totally professionally and let me have my say, and then did everything to make the process of figuring out the cost of my new countertops, so clear and so painless. Any of you who've had anything done to your house in a big way completely understand what I'm talking about. Kim has gone above and beyond to make sure the we are being well taken care of both on the Home Depot side of things and on the Contractor side of things! I couldn't be happier and this is the Home Depot. I will be going to no matter where I live in Washington. It's worth the drive people! They both totally deserve a raise, especially after dealing with me!!!! read more

We ordered a few pallets of stones for a backyard retention wall and the delivery driver hit one of our vehicles, busting out the side window and damaging/denting the car. We filed a claim, spoke with the GM Craig and filed a police report. Apparently they outsource their drivers and we have gotten nothing but a run around. It's been nearly a week, nobody has followed up, helped, no adjuster, nothing. Extremely disappointing. read more

This review is restricted to the rude lady at the pickup customer service desk, she made us wait for almost 15 min for a simple query about an order I placed online for home delivery and didn't even leave us with an answer. I provided her my phone which had the email confirmation and order number, She held onto it for what felt like an eternity but kept mentioning about random items I never ordered and any questions I asked were never answered. I felt like I was talking to a wall. She was just staring at the computer screen and treated us like we were lesser people. As I said earlier this is restricted to that particular incident and I have had helpful people for all my other visits and queries with other employees. read more

Their credit card readers haven't worked for my commercial credit card for DAYS! They don't allow (or at least that's what the employee said) them to be able to input numbers manually, so they waste valuable time then I can't use a credit card for MY BUSINESS!!!!! Then let's look at parking, the corporation has taken away the undercover contractor parking, and they shove so much merchandise on the sidewalks, you have to step INTO traffic to get around it! Their lumber is the worst, warped, culled, and frankly unusable! The stores all have so many random carts full of go backs you can't get another cart down them! And since their carts are full of go backs, you can't find an empty cart to use!!!! I am DONE with The Home Depot! read more

I needed new flooring for my house, so I decided to schedule an appointment with Home Depot. They wanted $50 just to give me a quote! I said no thank you and went to Lowe's instead. They'll be out on Tuesday with a FREE quote. Same with Homez, Carpet intallators, and Empire Today. I'm sorry, But when I already know it's gonna cost me thousands of dollars, I'm sure NOT gonna PAY for you to tell me how much you'll charge. I used to own a business, and I NEVER charged for an estimate. That's just an expense that happens, and everyone knows it except you, apparently. Hard Pass, Home Depot. This store is by far my favorite Home Depot location. The people are always helpful and knowledgeable in finding the correct items for my many projects. This past weekend was no exception. As I wondered starring eyed in to the lumber department (this department is definitely not my area of expertise) I was greeted by an employee that not only helped me pick out the correct pieces of wood, he also used their giant saw to cut them to measurements I needed. We ordered a faucet for our bathroom sink. It was broken so I went in to return it and reorder it. I was told it would be ready in two days. Great! Plumber would be there to install it for us. Happened to be there the next night for something else and thought I would see if it was already there, but not expecting to get it. I was told that it was there, but not ready for pickup yet. Fine. Go back the next morning and am again told it is there but not ready until 10:30. Okay. Go back at 10:30 and am told it hasn't even shipped yet! It won't be here for another 8 days. So why was I told it was there and just not ready? Several Times they said,"well it's not a store item". I am aware of that. That is why I ordered it. "Well whoever took your order should have done home delivery. It's faster." Why? It can get to my house faster than the store? I spent two hours driving back and forth today for no reason. Husband called customer service and they called the store and were told it was there and he would go "pick it". Happily I hung up but frustrated about another hours worth of driving. Before I left the store called and said that they do not have it, because"it is not a store item". Ugh! Never order from them again! read more

I was very exited when this store opened, it meant that I would need to travel for at least 20 minutes to the nearest Home Depot. Have purchased several major appliances including a refrigerator, washer and drier, dish washer etc...and god knows how much was spent for tools and building supplies, lately however, it is a shopping trip of a different nature! My son and I needed some storage bins self check out line made me feel that we needed to strip!? Several consecutive trips much the same!? With a bag of charcoal in the cart and several small items in the hands (Items were to small for the cart, would have fallen through) same thing "... what are you going to BBQ? ... " and looked under the bag even tho it clearly the only item in the cart!!!! My small items were thoroughly looked through, as if I was hiding something in the small baggies!? Funny thing is I have been dealing with the same people at the check out line for many years, they know me by sight and yet it seems that I have been identified as a potential criminal!!!!! At this point I have a small balance on my Home Depot card and once it is paid, I will take my business somewhere else. Horrible. We made an appointment to get an estimate on redoing our kitchen countertops. We had previously gotten some other quotes and saw that Home Depot had better prices by far. Get to the appointment on Sunday morning and Tessa seemed so off put by needing to help us. She was very brash and made us feel like we were flat wasting her time. She became frustrated with us because we did not know which material right off hand we wanted to use. She didn't offer any suggestions, help or anything else. She wanted to get the appointment over and that much was clear. Not that Home Depot as a cooperation gives 2 craps but they lost our sale due to Tessa's behavior. I have given this store several chances. The last time we needed 2x2's, and they couldn't be bothered to see if they had any, despite their inventory system saying they had 96 in stock. Today I'm picking up an online order. I was sent from customer service to the pro desk to pick up; the woman there-Dixie- didn't bother to call anyone and told me I'd need to go back to customer service. I told her I had just come from there and wouldn't go back to where I had just been. After finally calling, she said someone from customer service would be there eventually. This employee is rude. This store has a rat infestation. I have been there multiple times and have seen traces of rats (droppings) or have seen rats themselves running around the product, particularly in the garden section. It's pretty disgusting and it's honestly so bad that I don't feel safe going into the garden section anymore of this store. One night when I went in to grab a bag of Perlite, I picked up the bad and heard loud rustling. I saw a rat about the size of my head running along the top of the bad that I was grabbing and scurry off behind the shelves. This was over a year ago. Just today, I go into the store again for some firewood and sure enough, there was rat crap all over the pile of wood. read more

They have people there to help you load, one has down syndrome, and the other has severe autism. Very sad to add this review..... I have used the Snohomish Home Depot since they opened. They were my go to place in extensive remodels of my last three houses, and my 5 sons have used them on their own home projects. SADLY that relationship is over. My current home required new windows, opened up one of their credit cards to take advantage of 24 month free interest....... "SUPRISE" at 18 months they added $1500 worth of back interest and told me because I didn't catch it soon enough there was nothing they could do about it..... this is the first review I have ever written. I work for the largest employer in the state, an 4 of my sons receive pay checks from a company that is international. This has been and will continue to be a great story of warning of deception and lack of concern to share ...... read more

I was looking for an out door misting kit and was told over the phone that it would likely be out of stock but we could build one from the parts in the plumbing / irrigation aisle. Yep, no matter how many times I go to Home Depot, no matter how much I purchase, this store is consistently high. Most of the time there is multiple registers open. It is always clean and well stocked. My only minor issue is that sometimes its hard to find help, most of the time the staff is easy to find and offer what ever help or support you need. read more

Beware! If you buy appliances from Home Depot they give you 48 hours to return after that they'll refer you to the manufacturer for any issue. They may or may not accept returns but you'll have to haul it back to the store on your own. They don't stock new appliance inventory... everything comes from the manufacturer warehouse. Maybe go through the manufacturer or through Costco where customer service and warranties are great. The staff at Home Depot is generally not helpful and don't seem to want to be there. I know that the pay and hours suck. Products are ok and return policy is generous. read more

I want to give this store five stars as half of the employees are pleasant and provide good customer service. The other half however are not helpful: mainly the appliance department, and cabinetry. First is the cabinetry dept, body language says it all. Leaning back on your desk chair with your arms crossed just shows you do not want to offer help. Secondly, I asked a lady for help regarding dishwasher features as I was ready to spend $700 for one but the lady was just not knowledgeable on products and a bad attitude . I also called to change the delivery date, and her response was "well you should find the number to call on the delivery slip you have but I'm gonna go ahead and give you the number anyways." ‍ Disappointing customer service but always grateful for the employees who are friendly and pleasant. read more

I want to start by saying they have plenty of helpful and friendly employees. (minus the cashier at customer service) However, I purchased a LG fridge 3 years ago on a Home Depot credit card. During the recent power outages it blew the compressor on the fridge. They have no record of my purchase as they closed my account due to inactivity. I am pretty sure I had purchased an extended warranty to boot but I did not even mention that because I own that I should have filed my receipt properly. Now LG does not want to warranty the 10 year compressor without proof of purchase. I now own a $3000.00 piece of scrap metal read more

Went to buy painting supplies. Store was packed. Maybe 1/3 not wearing masks. I asked a manager if they enforce the mask rules. She said that due to staff safety they do not. They offer free masks upon entry. So anyway I left and didn't buy anything. I sympathize for the safety of the employees but I do not feel safe shopping here. I work in customer service as well and have had to confront many people and ask them to please wear a mask. My customers safety is my priority unlike this store. I purchased a dishwasher online from Home depot, which was cheaper than sears in cost and installation. Home depot sub contracts the work through JBC. Was told it would be installed on Friday. I had ordered the dishwasher on Tuesday morning. They just dropped off the new one. JBC said they didn't have anyone qualified to install it so they would make arrangements to have it installed the following week. I had paid for installation and to haul the old one off. So here it is the following week, Tuesday again and I called to see when they were coming out to install it. They said they cancelled the installation so now I have to wait until they feel like coming out, with a broken down dishwasher and a new one still sitting in the box in the middle of my sitting room. I couldn't even hire anyone to come out and install it, because they never brought me the installation kit I paid for at the time of the order. Please NEVER buy online from Home depot. They have very unreliable cheap contractors installing their orders. Learn from my mistake. Go to Judd and Black or Sears. I hate to give Home Depot a bad review, because the staff in Snohomish are nice, but the corporation needs to re-adjust trying to save cost in hiring bad contractors. Worst experience ever. Applied for a credit card to purchase a Tuff Shed (shed was already planned out online just needed to purchase). Application for the credit card took two hours, the employee just kept saying well I've never seen this screen this is weird over and over. She had me typed in my SSN around 10 times because she kept backing out of the system and would have to restart. She told me the credit card would be 60 days same as cash I asked well that's odd considering online said a year. She responded with well actually I'm not sure if it's 60 days, 12 months, or 24 months you'll find out when you get your first bill. After 2 hours of what should of been a 10 minute process she attempted to process my order which she spent another 30 minutes on before I finally asked for all my paperwork back due to the fact she kept canceling out of the order and restarting it over . Needless to say that's 2.5 hours of my life wasted. Possibly going to try another location but leaning towards ordering directly from Tuff Shed or going to Lowes. Also I'd like to add it's a bit unprofessional for employees to be talking in baby talk to fellow employees and customers. read more

I called before going but no answer after 5 minutes. Checked online and yes veterans get a discount. Headed to Snohomish Home Depot. Saw a pallet with 21 bags of pellets perfect. Handed her my VA credentials but they weren't good for a discount on pellets. Fine print thing I guess. Then they wanted to charge me for the pallet. Said no thanks and left. Store #4745 - 2601 Bickford Ave., Snohomish, WA 98290. My local store. Amazed at all the bad reviews for this particular store! Feels good to know its not just me... Hello corporate? Regional Director? Store Manager? There is a real problem w employees at this store! Went in on a Friday night at 8:30pm for 2 pieces of 48"x48" plywood. Needed 2 cuts on the panel saw. Easy stuff. Skeleton crew at the store. No one around. Found a gruff older woman (like "Sturgis Rally/Harley doo rag" type gruff) employee in Lumber named MARGARET. Politely asked for her assistance w the saw. Immediately met w reasons why she couldn't help me. She unloaded on me. The attitude took me aback. I was against the ropes w the barrage from this employee. This woman was RUDE, COMBATIVE, and AGGRESSIVE. Definitely a mental disconnect happening here. I asked for the panel saw cuts so I could get the 2 sheets into my smaller SUV type vehicle. Her reponse was, "I can't do it, and I won't." I said I couldn't buy em if I couldn't get them cut, Her response? "Then don't buy em!" She was sooooo minimizing and condescending, it was shocking. There was so much VENOM and HATE inside this woman. It really made me feel uncomfortable, and that's a first. Here was an employee saying she wouldn't assist me, and if I didn't like it well then basically, F you, and go kick rocks. I walked away from her, (turned my back on her) and she made comments and mumblings loud enough to hear, as I walked away, using the words IDIOT and STUPID. I started to see red. This wasn't good. Found an employee guy in hardware, as I was walking out, and asked if he knew her name in Lumber. Stood 3 feet from his face. He wouldn't look away from his clipboard. Had to say, "Hello?" (McFly!) Like he was in another world. He finally mumbled her name.... w no eye contact, then proceeded to tell me what a good employee she was. Told him he was mistaken, out of the side of my neck as I walked out, and that she was a horrible woman. This guy was the M.O.D. Great... Will someone from corporate get ahold of the reigns of this store #4745. How many more unhappy people from Snohomish County in WA. have to post about their bad experience here?! I will never buy anything in Lumber at this store again, if I even go there again, because of MARGARET in Lumber. Odds are I will drive to Marysville or go to Lowes in Everett. I bought an electric riding lawnmower from Home Depot. First, the delivery was a joke. They left it at the bottom of the driveway and told me to drive the rest of the way. Except the battery was dead. I had to buy extension cords to charge it enough to drive it up the driveway. After 6 months, it won't move when pressing on the accelerator. Trying to get it fixed is a real problem. It's still on warranty, so Home Depot is listed as a place where you can drop it off for repairs. However, I get different answers about whether I can drop it off or not. The service center says to bring it in. The tool rental department told me to take it to a small engine repair shop (it's electric, no engine). I've called and they hung up on me. Called again, they told me they would call me back. They didn't. I was told to talk to the tool tech guy, but he is never there. After multiple phone calls and visits, I didn't get an answer. I hate to rate this store so low with my past experiences being pleasant but this last experience was so bad i feel it takes away from the other positives one, especially because this one involved a manager. Today i went to do a return that i knew was probably not going to turn out how i wanted, which i would have been okay with if i interacted with someone who i felt truly tried their best to help me with a solution. Instead of interacting with someone who would want to help me with my problem, i was given a manager named Devorah (Debbie) who was very dismissive and rude. When i tried to tell her about my particular experience which i know is not the norm she interrupted me multiple times to "cut to the chase" as if she already had an answer to my problem, even though she didn't know what my problem was. She couldn't do the return on a lawn mower that i have used less than 6 times, which is fine. I asked if she could point me in the direction of the warranty information. She cut me off half way through my sentence and said anything can be found online or dial the 1-800 number. I would have appreciated her going through steps with me to ensure i was going to the right place to fix my problem, instead she just told me a number to, what i felt, get me out of her hair. This entire time we were talking she had her arms either crossed or on her hips while smacking gum and looking around. Her body language, facial expression and attitude all showed she didn't want to help me fix my problem, but wanted me to move my problem somewhere else. I have bought a fridge, washer and dryer as well as many home project items here because my husband and i just bought a home in the neighborhood. No longer will i be coming here to shop, i will make the drive somewhere else because i believe the attitude of employees makes a store. read more

Every once in a while you run into an employee of a local business that just stands out. Alec who works at the Home Depot in Snohomish is one of those Employees. He is knowledgeable, articulate and very pleasant to deal with. He answers your questions and is very service oriented. It seems he has the pulse of a few departments but I could be mistaken. Often times when I require help at the big box stores I'm met with a blank stare or "pointed" in a direction. It was a rare pleasure to meet Alec. In refrence to buying appliances. Don't do it! I waited 20 mins for an employee to show up in appliances, had to hunt one down and had to purchase at customer service desk. Next day get a message that appliance wasnt ordered and they auto rescheduled it to be delivered 3 days later than original date. I had to work and called store to re-schedule. Girl over phone pretended to do it. Appliance was going to be delivered on voice mail date. Had to call to reschedule again 2 weeks out. I left a lot of detail out, but this is the basics. I am so done with this place. The last three times I shopped here, getting the staff to help is ridiculous! And they have LOTS of staff. I just needed to ask something simple like the price, or measurement of a item. And every time it's the same thing, "oh sorry, maybe someone else can help you" or "if you walk 2 isles that way, there should be some other guys that can help you.." I've literally been passed around by 5 people (including a rude supervisor) just to ask the price of a umbrella and the guy that finally helped, quoted me wrong and didn't know what base the umbrella went with? I'm beginning to think they treat me this way because I'm a women? Maybe they think helping me will take too much of their time?
