Super helpful employees at this location. I don't usually find that at other home Depot locations but this was certainly the exception and it was very helpful because I wasn't familiar and hadn't been to this location before. I needed something specific that was a little bit obscure. I found a group of home Depot employees working on a certain aisle and they told me exactly where to go though when I couldn't find the item I went and found another home Depot employee and he and I were able to find the item and it was tremendously appreciated. I would definitely go back here if I were in the area but I was just passing through as again the employees were just really helpful and that made my trip there very easy. read more

Can't say enough good things about Melissa and Stacy who helped us with an enraging return process because of difficulties with the online service people who sent us the wrong item and did not want to take it back. These ladies at the store stuck with us for almost an hour working to help us get the return processed, then helped us to find a good alternative. Best customer service ever! read more

As a regular customer to this Home Depot today was like no other. As i approach self check out I'm instructed to wait to be able to pay cash. Then the first worker approaches me doesn't even ask if he can check my Bin and takes it from my had to weigh it okay cool i let it slide its parodical. After scanning and taking out at least 100 in cash to pay a 10 item a SECOND employ approaches my item and opens it up without asking AGAIN. This behavior is unacceptable yes both workers were White and I'm a Hispanic male. Never has any other race of workers act in such manner towards me in my many visits not just here but any other Home Depot. read more

This is a really nice Home Depot. It's much bigger than the one to the south, which is where I usually go. Excellent selection of lumber and power tools. The store is on the larger side too which makes the displays a little bit more roomy. Lines were fine. I got what I wanted and was in and out in only a few minutes. read more

Wish I could give 0 starts. What a horrible customer service. Tanya Jamison the pro sales supervisor decided to charge us extra fees for estimates. Even if you're a high paying customer. We do many renovations and buy in large quantities and now they decided to add fees instead of providing good customer service. They are rude and inconsiderate. If you need lumber you're better off at 84 lumber, great service. If you need kitchen cabinets, go to elegant kitchen instead. We are truly disappointed at their decline in customer service. read more

The only reason I'm giving it any stars is it's there when we need something. We bought a Dishwasher a few years ago... immediately there was a problem where the Detergent door wouldn't open during cycle!? The repair person said we needed to prime the Dishwasher by running Hot water for several minutes before Cycle starts. We wanted to return it and get a new one. Home Depot said no. Unless their Repairman say ( and of course that wouldn't be happening!) that it could be replaced. read more

Well, I live about 3 mins away from this location. I usually avoid this HD at all cost because the parking lot layout and it is within walking distance from the super ghetto walmart. However, I was in a pinch to get a job done quickly, and the g/f want it down now, so we went there. I just needed 1 wire. 1 wire, nothing more. 2 feet only. We went to the electrical department, no one was there. They have a siren in the electrical department to alert their employees of customers. No one came to help. We waited for 10 mins, no one came. My g/f went to services desk to get help, while I just stalk down a random employee to have her call for an associate. Cutting wire is easy, measure, cut, and go. However, HD have labels all over that department, warming to have a HD associate to do any wire cutting. Well, we waited for another 15 mins, no one came to help, so I just did myself, and took it to check out, out the door in 3 mins. Meanwhile we waited for over 25mins for someone to show up. How pathetic! And this is Saturday around 7pm. read more

BUYERS BEWARE: My landlord ordered a refrigerator that was scheduled to be delivered On a Tuesday with a 4 hour window time frame. The Window was from 3-7pm. 6:45pm Tuesday rolls around and my landlord says he hasn't received any courtesy calls so he called Home Depot to check in. Home Depot reassures that the Refrigerator is out for delivery. 8pm Tuesday rolls around and my landlord again calls Home Depot and they notified him that delivery for Tuesday wasn't going to happen that they have to reschedule. Home Depot couldn't reschedule for the next day but the day after which brings us to today Thursday. Today we have a delivery window again of 3-7pm and here we are 7pm and no delivery and no type of courtesy call to update us on anything!! This is absolutely ridiculous. We given you an additional delivery day and an additional 4 hour window out of our busy schedules for you to get it right. This is Appalling and the worst experience. There are absolutely no excuses for this as your customers time and experience should be taken into consideration. Nobody should have to empty and fill their refrigerator twice at no fault of their own because you have completely unreliable delivery options available to your customers that paid for product that isn't delivered when promised!! Twice!!! I will absolutely think twice before buying from Home Depot in the future and readers should to!! As my landlord has requested a full refund and will take his money elsewhere! Overall I have had great experiences in this store. However I went in for paint stirrers for a project for my students. Somehow my colleagues were able to get these for free but I was not. No biggie, I'm used to spending my money on my students. I asked Chris in paint how much they were, to which her friendly colleague responded they were .98. Chris replied snarky that they were not that price. I walked over to where they were to inquire and was confused as the price was clearly displayed on the box they were in along with a picture of the exact paint stirrers. I said well I'm confused because it shows them here and the price makes sense because of the size correlation with the difference in numbers. She had an attitude and again told me it was wrong. She used the store price checker to find out the price, I moved away and waited patiently. I continued to wait assuming there was a problem with the price. Chris moved on to the next guest not acknowledging anything to me. I waited a few minutes and then inquired about whether she was able to find the price to which she said "yeah they're .98 they must have been moved." Here's the thing, confusions happen, things change prices, no biggie. But the way you treat someone and acknowledge your mistake matters. It's the respect with which you treat other people that matters. I did not feel welcomed while interacting with Chris instead her attitude was repulsive and had a negative reflection on my entire experience there. I didn't mind paying the price my coworkers did not have to, but I did mind the delivery. Chris' coworker was much friendlier and had she been the only person I interacted with I would have left Home Depot much happier than I did. Chris if you are unhappy with your job or life, change it. But do not take out your frustrations in valuable consumers. read more

This is a large, clean store. It was really easy to find things especially little things like light switches, switch plates and more. The store is well organized and well stocked. The Home Depot shares a parking lot with other stores like WalMart and Sam's Club so getting around the parking lot can feel a bit like driving during rush hour. read more

Instead of telling me that she did not understand what I was referring to, she rolled her eyes, sucked her teeth, gave me a brochure and told me to pick the one I wanted. Went to Home Depot today to buy lawn chairs, the price on the chairs was not marked, called an associate over to scan and tell me the price. The associate said the price was $17.99 so we took four of them up to the register price comes up as $89.99. We called for a manager and they said they were not giving them to us for the price the associate told us. We decided to leave them there. I called and spoke with multiple associates who all said if an associate tells you a price, you get the item for that price. The store manager gets on the phone and said he can't let them go for that price, guess someone was too worried about their bonus to have good customer satisfaction. Every single store I have been into, no matter the brand, if an item is marked incorrectly or an associate tells you the wrong price you get the item for that price. read more

I go to this location at least twice month. The customer service is great and the employees are very helpful. This location is great. Its right off of 695 and 95. As for the parking lot. That's another story. The best option for that is to come early or later in the day so that you won't have to encounter the Walmart and Sam's Club crowd. read more

Went in to purchase bird seed and the only selection was at the end of an aisle - mainly bird feeders and suet, with 3-5 boxes of sunflower seeds. Difficult to navigate in the aisles due to inventory scattered around. Forget trying to get around the patio furnishings area. Will visit Pulaski Highway from now on. read more

On April 8th, the person who was repairing my roof returned 13 boxes of roofing material to the Home Depot store in Rosedale, MD. The items were purchased on my debit card. Even though he had the receipt, he was told he that he had to produce the debit card in order to have the money refunded to the card. Otherwise he would have to get a store credit. I spoke with the customer service person and asked her to refund the money to the card. She refused. I explained to her that many times my contractor has gone into Home Depot and purchased items for me without my debit card. The cashier calls so I can pay over the phone with my debit card. If they will accept my debit card over the phone to pay for items, why won't they accept it over the phone to administer a refund to the card, especially when the receipt is presented there in front of them? She still refused. I asked her to put me in contact with the manager. She did not. Instead she relayed a message from him which reiterated what she already said. After some finagling, I got in contact with the manager, and he explained that policy prevented them from refunding any materials to a debit card without the debit card being present. Even when the receipt was in front of him. That day, it appeared that Home Depot has no problem taking customers' money to pay for items over the phone with their debit card, but when it comes to a returning the items, even when a receipt is presented, the money won't be credited to the debit card, even when they can get its numbers over the phone. That's inconsistent. read more

I have never had a problem at any Home Depot until today. I went to the Golden Ring Home Depot for a propane exchange. When I went to a normal cashier, she seemed confused and said I think we are out but hold on. She picked up a phone and let it ring a few times and turned to me and said we are all out. I accepted her answer and left. But as I walked by the propane cages, I saw no less than 5 bottles with the blue seal caps indicating that they were full. So I went back inside to the customer service desk. There were 4 or 5 employees there doing nothing. One of the girls asked if she could help me. I said yes, I tried to buy propane but the cashier told me that you are out. She said yes we are all out. I said no, I just counted multiple bottles with the blue cap that are out there. She looked at another employee with a disgusted look on her face. She turned back to me and said we are out. I again said, no, there are full bottles out there if you come and look. She said no we are out. I said you are not going to walk out and look, she said no we are out. I left in disgust. I have never in my life had someone be so rude and lazy to me as a customer in a business. Her extreme lack of effort to attempt to satisfy a customer was nothing short of pathetic. I would of asked to see a manager but I have a feeling they were probably standing there witnessing her actions. I will not be returning to this particular Home Depot again. I am not boycotting Home Depot. I went to the other one on Pulaski Hwy and got my bottle filled and got nothing but smiling faces from the employees there. The Home Depot should be ashamed of their employee. Keep treating customers like that and see how your business drops when there is another store 10 minutes away. read more

I have a dryer that was delivered on 10th October that started one of the worst Customer Service Experiences ever and has still not been resolved. The dryer is still in my laundry room because Home Depot keeps explaining to me how they are going to correct this problem and as of this morning 12th November they haven't resolved it. I was actually instructed that this is my fault due to the fact that when the dryer was delivered that I didn't have the right socket in my laundry room to plug the dryer in and have it run. I suppose that I should have known what socket was necessary to run the dryer or that that there are different plugs for different electric dryers???? But the socket was replaced and when we went to use the dryer it ran for seconds and then you get error messages - I should have known that this would happen? When I went to the Rosedale store yesterday to "resolve" the issue of the Maytag Dryer that was delivered with a bad board there was a couple who were trying to get their Broken Appliance Issue resolved and also the Custom Order Door that Home Depot keeps ordering incorrectly. They too felt that they were being treated like this was their fault!!!! We had time to chat as we waited for the Acting Store Manager Aisha to get their cancellation and credit to go through because she couldn't get it to work due to an IT ISSUE??? They were informed that they could wait while she phoned IT to resolve or go and she would call them. They opted to wait due to the bad experiences and bad information that they had been receiving -yes from Home Depot!!! That's when after 50 minutes and Aisha not even so much as acknowledging my presence, I left and phoned the Home Depot Customer Care out of Atlanta Georgia. I was once again told that this would be resolved... I received a call from Aisha who basically told me it was my problem due to the incorrect socket in the first place...Needless to say my response was one of - Are you Freaking KIDDING ME???? Meanwhile I have a Maytag Bravos XL MCT Dryer sitting in my new house that I just moved into that doesn't work!!! Thank you Home Depot and Maytag for realizing that Customers do not come first!!! read more

I was approached by a lady named Lisa on Sunday, she was asking me to do a survey on the store before I had even shopped, telling me she would give me $10 off my order if I gave the store a good review. She even had another employee named Jim using a store computer to key in surveys for other people who had not even shopped the store...is this normal business practice? I don't feel like I should be bullied to complete a survey as I enter the doors before I have even had a chance to experience the service. read more

the worst service i have ever received. ordered carpet gave correct address and contact #s never showed up for schedule time. i called to find out why. they had all the wrong info. so i again gave them the correct info and guess what another no show the carpet guy used old address. i again call them spoke with a women in the flooring dept. she said she would check into and call me back. so i called again asked to speak with the store manager the man or women in charge. i spoke with a man and he said there service manager would call me back. guess what no call back. wasted my whole day. now i am so upset at the poor service i do not want to ever buy anything ever again from them. there are other places to get what they have many places. so see ya. read more
