I had a pleasant experience with the sales associate, Skyland (I believe that was her name). She was very kind, friendly, and extremely helpful--going above and beyond to assist me, which I greatly appreciated. The only downside, which was not her fault, involved an incorrect price tag on the coffee table I wanted to purchase. When Skyland went to ring it up, she realized the tag on the table was incorrect. She brought this to the attention of the manager, Cartier, who offered a small discount. However, I felt the store should have honored the displayed price, especially since the incorrect tag was placed on the table and I had already spent quite a bit of time pairing it with the sofa I had recently purchased. Overall, Skyland's excellent customer service stood out and made the experience much better. read more

We purchased an entire bed set last year: bed, chest, two night tables, dresser with mirror and a mattress. Not even a little over a year the bed frame has cracked and warped. On top of that, we have been told we can pay to have it fixed. If I had bought from another place our frame would have lasted longer. It is faulty and poorly made furniture. And what we paid it should have lasted longer. I will never purchase from Ashley again or recommend anyone to purchase from there. It is not worth spending good money there, you will just get shitty product. The people at the Hunt Valley store were great during the buying process and they have been great at assisting us with purchasing the replacement piece. It is not their fault that the company is outputting poor products. read more

This place was exactly what I expected. Six sales people standing around at the front of the store chatting while I perused the entire perimeter looking for something in particular. I am not sure they even noticed I arrived or exited. The sales floor is really nice and has some really cool furniture that I couldn't afford, but it was the lack of attention for me that sent me on my way. I purchased furniture from a wonderful sales person. However, I was told my furniture would be delivered between 1-14 and 1-30. I called to see when it would be delivered because I had already gotten rid of my old furniture. I have been given multiple dates. I spoke to the manager she said she would look into it and get back to me on Saturday before 11am because I do work. She never did I called the store Cassandra told me she wasn't in. After being on hold for 14mins. The manager came to the phone. Said they were extremely busy and she hadn't given me a time and still has no information regarding my delivery status. I asked for the regional manager contact info. She said she couldn't give his information out. POOR MANAGEMENT customer service. I want my furniture but no one is helping me. Extremely disappointed with my experience with Ashley Furniture in Hunt Valley. Bought a sectional in March, after sitting on it the first night after delivery we noticed one side made a very loud creaking noise when getting on and off and that the arm rest was loose. Sent videos to the store manager - it took 3 months to get a service technician out to look at it. After 2 hours of tearing the couch apart he told me that it couldn't be fixed . Called multiple times to talk to the store manager about offering a partial discount on the purchase. Was always assured she would call back when she was "back from lunch". Of course, never heard from her. Another month gone by and I am stuck paying full price for a defective, poorly put together couch. I would rather sit on a cardboard box then buy something else from the Ashley Furniture Store in Hunt Valley. Customer service and quality products not a priority. read more

As everyone knows, furniture shopping can be extremely stressful and overwhelming, but from the moment we walked in, my sales associate Cardier made the process effortless. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. I am extremely indecisive and he was so patient the entire time while I asked crazy questions! I had to make sure my husband agreed and called him to come to the store and try it. We bought it that afternoon and had it delivered the next Saturday. We visited Ashley Furniture in Hunt Valley to find a king bed, mattress and small sectional. Unfortunately the bed we saw on the website was not available (discontinued), but Erin (who was new) worked with us to find something else we liked. Erin was informative and patient as we looked around the store. When Erin didn't know the answer she sought a co worker to find the answer. We ended up only getting the mattress from Ashley, but the entire experience was good especially working with Erin! Definitely a place I will visit again for my furniture needs. read more

Had an incredible experience at the Ashley Home Store in Hunt Valley! Between the awesome Customer service and very helpful sales associates and manager I couldn't recommend this location any more! They were so helpful with getting me great deals on my first full set of furniture for my apartment. The majority of my furniture came in very quickly and every time I came in I was greeted by an associate and never had a problem finding help or getting my questions answered. I dealt with 3 sales associates after coming in multiple times this month being very indecisive. No matter how many "dumb" questions I asked they were glad to help. Allison was the most recent sales associate that assisted me and was incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a new location and I have lived in Hunt Valley all my life and will definitely be coming back again for more furniture. This store makes the Hunt Valley mall that much better. read more

I just bought my outside sectional furniture set from Ashley's and we LOVE IT. The ordering process was seamless, they delivered and put it all together for me in less than a half an hour. I also bought my entire basement furniture from them 2 years ago and we are in-love with our sectional couch and the customer service that we always receive from them. Leroy Lamotta was my sales agent and I used him again for this purchase. I went to the Hunt Valley Store which is gorgeous and he and his manager Liz gives A plus service. Absolute worst customer service and delivery policy. I purchased a couch about 2 months ago. Was told I would have it within 5 weeks. The piece they were waiting was not in stock and the availability date kept getting pushed later and later. It finally came in, THEN had to set up a delivery date. I was told the first available delivery date was 10 days away and that they would call the day with a 4 hour window. I called and said that I was not informed of that policy and there no way I could block off an entire that far in advance. I went into the store to complain and the salesperson I had said he could give me a definitive 4 hour window. Less than 24 hours before the delivery they changed that 4 hour window to a time I was not available. I went back into the store to complain, not only could they not tell me why it was switched or to be able to change it back, I was told that there was absolutely no one with any authority (manager/GM) that was even available to address my issues. I immediately canceled my order and then was told they couldn't even provide me with verification of the cancelation. I have never before dealt with such incompetence. The entire store is total chaos. Safe yourself a lot of headaches and time and avoid buying anything from this store. read more

I bought a furniture set and was told. That the bed frame would work with my Sleep Number bed (the one where the head and foot go up and back down). They assurred me it would work. Guess what- it didn't. Now, there is nothing they will do about it. I'm stuck with trying to figure out an adaptation myself. Customer service was very rude, refusing to even let me talk to a manager. Never been treated so poorly from customer service. Don't patronize. Not worth the frustration. read more

I purchased furniture that broke less than two months after being delivered to my home. The only thing worse than the shoddy furniture is the inept customer service. Nearly six months later I have a broken couch sitting in my home and a company that has done nothing to remedy the problem. I have tried everything - local store, corporate customer service, and warranty company. No remedy! I am an entirely reasonable person who has been pushed beyond the brink. Do not purchase furniture from this company under any circumstance. The furniture is very poor quality and the customer service is appallingly bad. Having it in my home is a constant reminder of this company's incredibly poor quality and customer service. I am giving this one star simply because I am required to do so. In reality, no stars or negative stars is a more appropriate rating. I do not tend to post reviews, but I want to warn off anyone who is contemplating a purchase from this company. DO NOT!
