This place is incredible. About a week ago, it was raining heavily. My phone screen had just…read moreshattered and I was freaking out (I didn't listen to my Dad and refused to get a proper case) and I had to call for a ride home. Murphy's law I guess. Its a great story now but when I dropped my phone I was in a lot of trouble. Nothing, and I mean nothing... no stores were open. Except this one place that still had its lights on. I walked up to the store and I was soaked from being out in the rain. The woman inside was closing up and I knocked on the door and when she saw me she immediately sprinted to the door to let me in. Thank goodness she was there. I never would have stumbled upon this brilliant shop BENTON and BUCKLEY had I been able to actually call for an Uber...so I do believe everything happens for a reason. If you already know of this place, then you know how lovely Deborah is to talk to. She has so many great stories and is truly passionate about her business (and her 3 dogs!). The store has amazing antiques and all sorts of great dinnerware and furniture, pillows and some really cool lamps. Not to mention she pretty much has a story about each item she sells. She's truly just a caring, brilliant and kind person. The owner immediately got me a towel (one of the brand new ones she sells by the way) and gave it me to dry off. She told me her name was Deborah and I explained my situation. She never once asked me to buy anything, even though I offered to buy something in order to use her phone. But Deborah only cared about helping me get home. More than that, she asked how my day was and we got to talking while I waited for a ride. No one picked up so she arranged for an Uber to take me home and paid for it. I am writing this review to say thank you. And I will be coming back often to support the store and I'm telling all of my friends about it. America needs more genuine, small business owners like Deborah and Benton and Buckley.

This store is clean, well managed, and a great place to go whether you want to just look or actually buy. This is a "no pressure" shopping environment. Highly recommend. The sales floor has a good selection of styles and different furniture options. I would always recommend shopping around but this is a great place to start or finish. The furniture is well priced. You can find cheaper furniture online from other companies but you can't test it, can't get it delivered and assembled at the right time, and can't talk to an associate who answers all your questions.

It is tiny (I am not exaggerating), but it sells some charming products! They do fresh floral arrangements and then sell an assortment of home goods and decor (fancy candles, tchotchkes, linens, etc). Good customer service (they're sure to notice you and say good morning when you walk in since the shop is so tiny) and just a fun place to shop for a few minutes if you're in the area! The prices are very fair. They offer a huge discount over buying similar new high quality furniture. However that being said the prices here are not your typical consignment store prices. This place offers only the cream of the crop for sale. Well curated collection. This is not your typical busted type of Goodwill thrift store. There is parking in front of the store but it is a bit tight. They have a restroom for patrons. The staff is always very friendly and cordial. Mary Kay was incredibly helpful and was even able to recommend movers who were able to get the desk to me despite some challenging circumstances (BGE, I'm talking about you tearing up my street). I will definitely be back to purchase more pieces.
