We purchased a Rheem gas water heater in the middle of December 2023 from Home Depot and had it installed by a local professional HVAC company. Unfortunately, the installer didn't pay attention to a huge dent on the water heater during installation. Due to their negligence now we have to live with a brand new dented water heater that cost us about $1000.00. Since, we already paid hundreds of dollars for the installation of this water heater, we didn't want to go through returning the water heater and pay for the installation all over again. Home Depot should have better quality control over their products and shouldn't be selling these damaged goods to the consumer. We all work hard for our money and shouldn't have to go through these troubles. In cases like these Home Depot should be liable to pay for reinstallations of their products.

I've been here a couple times. The first time, I easily found a golf umbrella and a cheap indoor security camera. I wasn't actually looking for either, but whatever. I'm pleased with both purchases. Last time was more recently. I was searching for an indoor plant that didn't require much sunlight. I don't know why Home Depot came to mind first. I guess because in the past I've always bought my indoor plants at Home Depot, Lowes, or Ikea (they are pretty much all long dead...other than the ones I've given away). The struggle was finding the indoor plants to begin with. It took me asking three different associates before I could find someone who could help. They only had two varieties -- a peace lily (pass, I have cats) and a lucky bamboo. Bamboo, it is. So far the bamboo is not dead, but it's only been about a week. Next time maybe I'll visit a *real* garden center. I don't own a home yet so otherwise I don't really need much at Home Depot. But if you need outdoor plants, they have plenty.

Home improvement stores are my favorite places to browse, and this Home Depot is my go-to spot. It's convenient, reasonably priced, and I can always find a product to suit my wants and needs. The staff also makes this location a step above many others and their competitors. Everyone is polite, efficient, and most importantly, knowledgeable. On every visit I am approached and asked if I need assistance, and when I do they almost always help me correctly the first time, whether it's cutting lumber to my specifications or locating a specific nail size. When I moved into a fixer-upper I even brought photos of my projects, such as the source of a leak in my bathroom sink, and employees were able to identify the issue and recommend products and methods of fixing it. They also have an excellent Lawn & Garden section with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants and accessories. As a houseplant hobbyist I've actually had more luck here than at many local nurseries.

I added a star for HD due to the accommodating help I received from two stellar employees ! One man looked way up top of several aisles helping me to find some vac bags - it took awhile but he didn't give up! Then, Laura, a cashier, was helpful courteous and friendly assisting me not only in my purchases, but also saved me some moolah! In the garden department, I found some lovely rosemary topiaries that looked and smelled wonderful! Keep up the good work!

I came here to get a Window Blind. No one helps you. There was a guy at the desk in the back of the store to busy on his cell phone never looked up. Went to Lowes I received excellent help. I do not recommend going to Home Depot

When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if we were looking for something in particular. We were then efficiently walked over to the aisle housing screwdrivers and told about the different options. They were locked in a case, so we would've needed a staff member's help anyway. Apparently people like to steal screwdrivers, which I never would've guessed. Prices seemed fair, but to be transparent, I don't generally buy tools so I don't really know the going rates. Check out was just as efficient with a couple lines in operation. And the cashier was just as friendly as the staff member working the floor. Everyone was properly masked and social distancing was taking place as well. I would suggest supporting this small business and those like it prior to going to the big box stores.

I've never been interested in plants before quarantine, so everything was new to me. With all of this cooking I've been doing, I thought it would be nice to have fresh herbs at the ready, so off we went. This is the definition of a quaint, local hardware store. There is everything you could need for your home projects plus a little extra, but not much extra. The store is much less overwhelming than the big box hardware stores and the employees were SO helpful. I really enjoyed my experience there, which I never thought I'd say about a hardware store. I also enrolled in their loyalty program and got $5 off my purchase today. Score! Thank you, Pleasants, for providing the community with lawn, garden, and hardware needs for decades and still being a pleasant place to shop!

I have been going here for several years to buy as much as I can to support a smaller business. I bought a $10 tube of JB Weld from here in March, came home used the JB weld as I've always used JB weld only it didn't set up. Naturally, I had to scrape it off of my pipes so I could figure out the next solution. I even gave it 24 hours, but it had the consistency of wet Play-Doh. So I brought the package back to the store and explained what happened and honestly expected to get a no questions asked store credit or something. Instead, the man proceeded to read the entire package and asked me to bring back the gooey mess. I came home and dug through my trash, but it had already been picked up by the garbage company. It's laughable to me that people lack this much common sense. I have made my last purchase here. I hope the four dollars or whatever profit you made on this was worth it. I have attached pictures of what I was able to find in my trash when I got home as well as the pipe with all of the defective product removed from it. With any luck at least 20 more people will read this review and choose to go to Lowe's instead. Update: I found the used product wadded up in paper towels but won't bother going back to the store.

Came there specifically to have a key duplicated. No one at the desk. No problem, I'll wait. Employee walks by and sees me standing there and was going to keep walking so I decided to ask her if she can help me. Immediately, not a great attitude. Did not catch her name but pretty sure her name tag had "manager" on it. She had that way of talking that just signals they are irritated to be helping you. So she doesn't have the needed blank (which I understand) and decides to try to make a "custom" key for me, which I appreciate. She hands it to me and says she thinks it will work but it's custom made. Ok, I get it. This is where my annoyance increases. I said I'd like a total of three duplicate keys. She refused to make the other two. She said there's no point in making them if I'm not sure if they are going to work. Sure there is....I live an hour away, I tell her, so I'd like to get the keys now. Nope, she refused again. So if the keys work, I'm all set. If they don't work, I'm out $6 to $8. Under her way, if the keys work, I am supposed to make another 1 hour round trip to have 2 more made? Why not just make them? She apologized for how far I lived away and said....there's no point in making them if I'm not sure they are going to work. I'm a bit stunned at this outright refusal to sell the customer what they are asking for. I guess the customer is not always right at this store. It was clear she just didn't want to spend 5 more minutes making two more keys. It was quite annoying. I do not plan to return to this store.
