    How I feel everytime I go into this store. Only use it because its the closest

    I placed an order for over $3,000 dollars worth of bathroom items, (vanity, tub, tub surround walls. I was told the order would arrive by 15 march2023. I can understand a few days late, but after talking with customer service on the app on the 20th, no one knew when my order would arrive. I received a $150 credit towards my order, that was a thank you moment. The next day, When I finally picked up my order on the 24th, I got it home only to find out it was the wrong tub they sent me with. I double check my order, yes I ordered the correct one. They send the wrong one. I wanted to send it back but the manager told me I would have to pay to rent another truck to take it back to the store. I also had to pay my plumber for his time while I tried to resolve this. Long story short, Im stuck with the tub, because management had no idea how to resolve this or when it would be. Thanks HD.

    Came here for curbside pickup and it was a literal nightmare. When you spend your hard earned money on something and get it curb side, it should be like new. Spent over $300 on a BBQ and they brought out one that was fully assembled, full of rust, dented, with rust and dirt on the inside. It took over an hour for the issue to be fixed and the only way to fix it was to come inside. Huge line to get inside that wraps around itself so social distancing is not happening if you want to get into the store. When I asked customer service about it and said that I was expensive why are we receiving a damaged display instead of a new one in a box they said they do it for convenience. It's not convenient if you drive anything other than a pickup truck or rent a truck. When I asked if it's typical for customers to receive items like this I was told "unfortunately yes" and she said that they didn't do their due diligence. Not the customer service's fault but management's fault. It shouldn't have been allowed to be brought out, if staff sees this and thinks it's okay than it is a reflection on management. If you do curbside pickup and there is an issue that can only be resolved by coming in the store, that puts your employees at unnecessary risk. First and only time shopping there.

    Baseboard not attached back

    If the " free " install and furniture moving is swaying your vote to buy carpet from here...don't let it. First they come measure and make notes about what items they won't move or will charge you for. They never say anything about these items until after you have paid and scheduled. Then comes a call to " review your contract" you either agree to move these items yourself or pay extra. Fast forward to your install 2 months later. There's a hole in the carpeting, your closet door is broken, one closet can't open because there's a broken baseboard behind it , and the contractor left debris all over your house and outside . Oh and a 4 hour Job took 6 because one of the men left for over an hour leaving one alone.

They had several that met our criteria in stock--though it turned out only one would fit. Our salesman, Kevin was very patient, and ultimately we said let's do it. For a some extra fee he was able to arrange next day service. The two installers who arrived today, William and Anthony were amazing. They measured carefully to ensure that the refrigerator would fit before they unboxed the refrigerator. They were gracious and efficient and even suggested a way we could solve a problem with a drawer really close to the refrigerator. This was not our first exprerience at Metropolitan Appliance, and it won't be the last. The professionalism of both the sales staff and the installers was outstanding.

LUMA, Miele's authorized repair company is a well managed company and we were extremely happy with their service.

The part came in and on July 16, the technician came out to install it. Everything was going well until I happened to mention that the standing water in the dishwasher from when it died mid cycle, had caused a foul smell, and that after mopping it all out, I had wiped the inside of the dishwasher out with bleach water after removing the filters, as well as putting a tiny bit in the drain. Once I mentioned this I was berated by the technician until I was literally in tears. I have never been made to feel so stupid in my life. Obviously I didn't realize it was such a mistake and one that certainly won't be repeated, but I was told that I was poisoning my family, I was told that there was no way to fix it, that it was going to be in the machine forever no matter what I did, I was told repeatedly that he'd never heard of ANYONE putting BLEACH in their dishwasher, only baking soda or vinegar, and that he couldn't guarantee that I hadn't ruined it. He also demanded to know if I had put bleach in my steam oven (excuse me???) and told me that he now HAD to "report" that I had used bleach on the inside of my dishwasher "because I told him about it" as if I was being reported for a crime. Then after all of this mistreatment, I was expected to cough up over $300 for the visit. I get that it may not have been the best choice. But I have to wonder if this technician never makes mistakes in his life, and if he does, if he expects to be berated by complete strangers in his own home, like I was berated during this service visit. How would he feel if it someone had done the same to his wife? Chlorine takes no more than 5 days to dissipate from standing water. This tiny amount that I used was weeks ago and long gone, especially after the 2 empty cycles we ran after he left. Given that we have chlorine in our drinking water, and that we use chemical detergents to clean our dishes in the machine, I am hardly "poisoning my family", and I hardly think this simple error deserved the level of berating I received today. I have to wonder if he treats all his customers this way when they make a mistake with their appliances? I have reached out to the company about this experience twice now and have been completely ignored. We will not be using Luwa again. Not a happy customer.

They are the epitome of the 'friends' your parents always warned you to stay away from. Our personal experience with RENT A CENTER includes several instances where they came to our home the day our bill was due. Not only did we not even have a chance to be late, but they came pounding on our door like the FBI. No wonder they had that big ole lawsuit (google it). Next, they called the mondays before our bills were due (normally friday) and every day thereafter at exactly 8:02am and several times during the day. Again, we didn't even get a chance to be late to pay them. They were on us like flies on.. well you know. Even after I marched my pregnant (at the time) self down there to let them know I was on bedrest and the last thing I want to do is jump up and run to the phone to pay them 5 days early at the crack of dawn. I asked if they could call only after 2pm. They agreed, noted my account, paid, and the very next morning guess who's phone was ringing? Now you've really got to be on something strong to call somebody at 8am on a saturday morning. That's just all around wrong. To this day they still come to our house the day payments are due. We only went here because we needed furniture STAT after just moving from out of state, but now, we'd really rather just sit on the floor. Heck, I'd even milk-crate it. But while we're talking about the furniture itself - both the sofa and loveseat sag in the middle and when you sit down it feels like you're falling to the floor. The pull out has the most awful mattress. You can feel the metal supports right through the mattress and it squeaks with every turn. All in all, you could really afford to skip this adventure. They even went as far to call our references asking if they knew where we were - not verifying anything. A shame this company is.

At the very least, this is a great place to browse for ideas because you have rarely seen such variety. We did not know microwaves could be so huge, for instance. Or had never seen a fridge that looks like a cabinet (stealth fridge!). It's a bit daunting as you walk in because it's a large space that for all its inventory still feels empty-ish (it's not). The staff is apparently a bit underworked as we were approached by at least five of them during our short stay. We wish them all the best!
