    Im currently moving because, well rent is out if this world expensive now. And I'm in a studio ApT. IM EXTREMELY STRESSED AND FULL OF ANXIETY. Because all things are on my shoulders. I rate this location a 4 out of 5 because The gentleman that helped me made my experience there great! He was soo soo patient with me and my 1,000's of questions. Not to mention the weather was just at 80 degrees. I'm over everything. But! He took his time to get my bin. & a non available bin lid from thin air. He also went to the top of the shelf and even price checked them for me. It was a whole process. I'm grateful. Customer service is lacking in the city. Karen movement aside. After being helped and being tended to I make my way to the cashier, where I was made aware that "YOU GUYS DON'T DO APPLE PAY" lol not a big deal. I gasped and clutched my imaginary pearls. All the while paying for the items. It was the dismissal and the lack of engagement at the end that rubbed me the wrong way. And she obviously needed a break or 5 Not saying she didn't provided A1 customer service. But! It was apparent she did not want to be there. And I shouldn't have been made aware of it either.

    Not even a store credit.

    Literally the worst Home Depot in the world. Dead plants no pots. They say they have a gardening center don't waste your time

He also gave me some advice about buying fridges and warranties etc. A lot of places are in Brooklyn and don't come uptown or charge more bc of the distance, but George lives in Washington Heights so I'm glad I found him. Highly recommend.

In my case, I got through after three weeks to say "what's going on?" only to be placed on multiple 20+ minute holds, then to have the repair scheduled, then to get a call back saying parts were still on back order for 3-6 weeks. DO NOT USE THIS OUTFIT. I was given their name by Akzo (who make first-rate appliances!) and have already written their customer service to report that Mr. Appliance is a scam.

This is what happened to me and I wanted to share my experience. My Samsung washing machine stopped working in July 2025. Things started off well with Mr. Appliance NYC--I booked an appointment online for a technician to come the next day. At that visit, they said that the motor drive system in the washer was not working and needed to be replacement. I was given an estimate of $1,309.46 for parts and labor and although that seemed kind of high to me, I preferred to make the repair as the washer was not all that old and to avoid the hassle of ordering and buying a new one. An appointment was scheduled for the repair to be made, but I never received a confirmation and I had to call them to find out that they were still waiting on the part and the next appointment would need to be rescheduled. It took almost a month for the new part to come in and a new repair date was scheduled, at which time a technician came and replaced the defective part. The washer worked for a week or two and then stopped working again and had the exact same issue as before. Another appointment was scheduled--the technician failed to show up at his scheduled time, but did end up showing up later. I was told thatp perhaps the new part they had ordered was defective and they would replace again. A new repair date was scheduled--new part replaced again and the tech ran a quick wash cycle, said washer was working and then left. I then did a regular cycle of wash and it did not work at all/same issue. I immediately called office to let them know. Was told that technician was doing research on this and they would be in touch. I continued to call and they kept telling me the same thing. We are now into September (so I have not had a working washer and this has been going on for 2 months)--I scheduled yet another appt over the phone with the technician. I did not receive a confirmation, so called the morning of appointment to get a more specific time frame and was told that they did not have me on the calendar and that I did not have an appointment. I told them that I did and they agreed to send the technician later that day. The technician came and confirmed that he had spoken with Samsung, no error codes were showing up on washer, and that it was not working and that he was not able to repair it. He told me that he would be writing up a report and putting in a request for a refund as the original issue had not been repaired or resolved. Called Mr. Appliance office later in the afternoon and was told that they did not yet have the technician's report. The next day, I called Mr. Apppliance office and was told that they had the report with the refund request and were working on it. I asked them when I could expect the refund and they said they did not know. I told them I would continue to call back and check. In early October, despite numerous phone calls, I never heard from Mr. Appliance again about my refund or anything else.
