Sorry we ate a few before I remembered to take a picture very good. Would be good with country ham and eggs in the morning.
Nenefur M.

We came for a late dinner. Got the fried green tomatoes, country fried steak, smothered pork chop. The service was amazing! The country fried steak was so lite it was perfect, the asparagus was roasted just right super tender and well seasoned. We will definitely be comming back.

Smash cheeseburger with fries (toast was from my girlfriend's order).

We sat at the bar waiting for the entire party and the bartender wasn't super fun. They checked on me but not my group when they showed up. Once everyone arrived we got sat in the dining room and ordered. It wasn't a large group but it was a decent sized group. I ordered the chicken tender platter because I'm a child as heart and it sauced with hot honey sauce, coleslaw, and fries. I ordered the special rum punch and the waitress said she made it herself. It was stupid tasty. The chicken platter was perfect.

It wasn't too busy on this day, so we were sat down promptly. You notice a good amount of seating as you walk in and the usual large fish tank that always brings a calmness to the restaurant. You're politely asked what you'll have to drink as you choose your meal. And to get the appetite started they bring a buttery croissant that is definitely a good treat. Cheddars has a good amount to choose from, I choose the Fish and Shrimp meal, the dish came with sides, I choose the broccoli casserole and with fries as well, the whole meal was absolutely delicious. The people that atmosphere make this a wonderful place for a great meal. I highly recommend this place.

Both sauces had great taste and were packed with seasoning. The spicy lemon pepper had a nice kick, and the spicy garlic Parmesan was rich, savory, and super flavorful. Definitely solid sauce choices. My only downside was the wing size and portion. The wings were on the smaller side, and even with 10 pieces, I didn't feel fully satisfied afterward. If you're really hungry, you might want to go with a larger portion or add a side. Overall, great flavor and good quality, just wish the wings were a bit bigger or more filling.

When I put us on the wait list before leaving my house on a Saturday night, it said the wait time was 30 to 45 minutes. We got there and waited another 15 minutes before we were seated. The atmosphere was very loud and a bit rowdy. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating of us being first timers. This place clearly gets very busy on a Saturday night, but we did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. I had the BBQ chicken salad and some lemon wings. Both were pretty good. I tried some of my daughter's waffle fries and they were very good. The sweet teas was also really good. FYI: They charge for every extra small dressing you get, so keep that in mind. Overall, this was a pretty good experience.

New name does not equate to better menus…read more I have to admit that I liked 54th Street better than the "new" 54. It actually was nice and not to loud when we went. The service but good, but the food was not flavorful. The Gringo Chips dip was bland. The Big Daddy Mac N Cheese was delicious according to my girls. My husband got the ribeye and he said it was good. I was really looking forward to the steak fajitas. They looked good, were nice and warm. Unfortunately their appearance was the only great thing about it. Let's break this down into the components: 1. The corn tortillas were horrible. I feel like they were just warmed up in the microwave and they were sticking to each other. 2. The rice was bland and all clumpy. 3. The pico de gallo was just meh. 4. As for the stake; what happened!?! The taste was just horrible! I have no clue what sauce they had in it, but they need to reconsider it. It was honestly horrendous. Needless to say that I returned it. This is where it gets a bit odd. This has honestly been the first time that a manager has not come to ask me about my service and why I returned my food. Like do you not want to know how to improve? I have had to ask for a new meal at other restaurants in the past and at every single one of those establishments managers have come to talk to me about my experience. I ended up getting the filet mignon instead with a side of asparagus. The best thing on that plate was the asparagus. The filet was okay, but it wasn't anything special. Honestly, though we have enjoyed going here in the past the food quality has declined and we don't plan on returning. Though the employees we encountered were all very nice, the food was just meh. Maybe fajitas is not their forte. Thanks but no thanks.
