Tons of events and trivia in their schedule for folks looking for a night out on weekdays or weekends. The interior is mildly psychedelic with music. The food was fine. We got the burger and nachos. I was between giving 3 and 4 stars. Service was slow but the venue was busy, there was an event, and the night crew was picking up when we were there. The buffalo chicken nachos were fine. We appreciated the crispiness of the tortilla chips and the excellent cheese sauce that was well-distributed on the chips. There was tomato among other veggies that I do not remember. The chicken was fine for me on a cut. However, it had the texture of boiled chicken which I wasn't a huge fan of. Still had to get my protein in. I really enjoyed the burger. The bun was a soft potato roll. The patty was a little cooler. Between a cold burger and soggy nachos I certainly would choose the cool burger. This was made up for with the large volume of burger that was deliciously crispy. The pickles accompanied the burger with a secret mayo-based burger sauce. If warm, it could be a 5/5 burger. Overall, the experience was fine. I would go here on a week day rather than 6 on Friday, though.

Service was excellent. Our server David was "spot on", always there to remove our plates and bring us drinks. Only two negatives. There was no music, so the place lacked ambiance. They definitely should have had music playing softly in the background. The other negative were the desserts. They were like "store bought". Very dry and lacked flavor. I'm giving them 3 stars, but I really wanted to give them 3.5. They were better than "ok" but just shy of great.

Our plans before were running long but luckily their reservation policies were flexible enough that I had no problem moving my time, even on such a busy day. The restaurant was POPPING when we arrived around 4:30. We were seated promptly. The only downside to our experience was that the table was SUPER shaky and wobbly. We asked our waitress for a shim or piece of paper to steady the table but she informed us it was the table head itself, not the legs, so nothing could be done. I was not thrilled about this but assumed that these were tables they hauled out of storage to accommodate the holiday demand, so I can understand. Our server was very warm and friendly despite the chaos. Prices are on the high side but the quality is good and the portions are large. I went for the lobster cobb which was a special and it was LOADED with lobster meat. They really heaped it on. A little light on the avocado, but overall it was really wonderful. My mother went for a seafood scallop risotto which I also tried. It was creamy and flavorful. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe, and our server was good about getting our check. One thing I really liked was that they put which dishes on the menu are over 500 calories, and most were under. A lovely, healthy dining choice with a nice ambiance. I'd return!

The wait staff was friendly and warm which considering the volume of diners these people serve was really welcoming. Ticket times for the food was as you would expect, a little wait, but not a lot. Wifey ordered a filet medium with sides. Her filet came at the requested temperature. (better be at a steak house lol). I ordered the fish and chips since Roadhouse uses soybean oil to fry food in. The fish was cornmeal crusted catfish. That was exciting, catfish might be something people stray from due to fattiness and maybe muddy flavor. Overall, the meals were good. Comes with bread too. The prices weren't too bad, not too crazy for steak as you'd think. By the time we left we couldn't leave, too many people in the foyer blocking the door lol. We had to snake our way out. I'd return to Roadhouse again.
