This place was a lot of fun and has great potential. As a contract brewery, The Guild offers 'Gansett, Sons of Liberty, Farmer Willie's, The Devil's Purse, NBPT, and Great North Aleworks. We were impressed with the Great North IPA. The tasting room is unassuming but has character. The parking lot could easily be turned into an awesome courtyard/brew garden. We went here a while ago, but here is my review. This a nice microbrewery in an old industrial building. Great vibe! Clearly a local gathering place. People came with their dogs. Families were also welcome. There is a wide selection of beers and the staff was knowledgeable about them. We also really liked the beers we tried. Pink Pants DIPA was a standout. We took some home. Hope to visit again when we are in the area. read more

Seriously one of my favorite places on planet Earth. The bartenders are the sweetest you'll ever meet. Fast and level headed especially during the Made On Honor market when it's beyond crazy. They always have a story and a smile for you. The beer is always icy cold and out of this world. I highly recommend trying them all when ever you're in the neighborhood. I've seldomly been able to narrow it down to a favorite as they're all delicious. They always have a variety as well. From Porter to light Ale. Perfect for everyone. The also allow pups! As a relatively new resident of Pawtucket, I was thrilled to discover The Guild! The staff is welcoming and friendly, as are all the customers. Dogs there abound, so if you're a dog lover, you will be in paradise! And then there's the beer. On draft are beers of many varieties from different area brewers. The guild is a great place to try some local beers in a big open and inviting space. A very relaxed atmosphere with 7-8 different beer choices. I'm not a fan of IPA's so I always appreciate when a beer menu isn't filled with them. There is also some good space outdoors for when the weather cooperates. read more

The Guild is just at the beginning stages and it's already a great place to have a few beers in the temporary taproom that are brewed on site, check out the facility, and talk to the staff on what their vision is for the whole facility. The Guild is a good place to try beers from different local breweries. There were eight or nine or so on tap. I was there on a Friday night, and the place was full but not overly crowded. First, the good: The beer selection is excellent. I didn't opt for a flight because I knew what I wanted, but I'm glad the flight was available. I liked the live music too. A young woman played acoustic guitar and sang cover songs. Next, the room for improvement: Seating! Aside from the bar, there are only about six chairs. Be prepared to stand at one of the tables while you drink your delicious beer. Some bar food would be good too, although I do give The Guild credit for inviting a food truck to serve hot sandwiches. I might come again, but if I do it'll be at the start of the evening--when I'm not too hungry and have the energy to stand. read more

Normally this place is 5 stars. But lately I think the dog-owner patrons are taking advantage of The Guild. Just as when you go to a restaurant and you expect a parent to take care of a screaming child, you a should be able to expect a dog owner to remove a barking dog. I get that it's great to be able to bring your dog here but it's not a dog park that serves beer. It's a brew hall that allows dogs. I know better than to bring my dog here because she would be nervous and would bark at everyone. I'm seriously going to have to reconsider coming here until warmer weather when dogs can be outside on the patio. read more

Love bringing my dog here. Beer is great- get a flight to start, it's a little loud because of the atmosphere but it's a good time. P.s. if you bring your dog, keep it tightly leashed. I have a giant breed puppy and another dog tried to come attack him for no reason- I guess it's owner thought they could let the leash down? Luckily he doesn't defend himself yet. read more

Yesterday was my first time there for a Yelp event and the event was awesome!!! Great vendors, cool atmosphere and great beer!! The blonde ale and fest was good and I loved the coffee stout! Not always a big fan of ginger beer but what I tried wasn't bad. I'm not an IPA fan so I didn't try some of those. Selection is really good! The tour by Jim was very informative and cool!! The other staff and interns were awesome as well but the only reason I didn't give 5 stars for my experience was because of one or two not so friendly bartenders which were maybe overwhelmed by the event but at the end when all I wanted to do was buy some coffee stout to take home, thank god for running into Jim again because him and others were bringing in more 6 packs and I was able to get more after one of the bartenders charged me $24 for 4! because the drafts were $6 a beer. After thinking back, I can't believe I even agreed to that in the first place, I just really liked the beer! I'm sure things like that would not happen most times so I would definitely recommend checking out the guild, hanging out and trying the beers!! My friends and I had a blast! read more

Brought my husband here for his birthday, along with some family members. Had never been before and admittedly, we don't often go pub-hopping, but I thought we'd try something new and I had seen this place advertised - so I thought we'd give it a go! But my jaw dropped and my enthusiasm plummeted when I was presented with the bill - $7.00 each for one snifter-shaped/sized glass of beer!! Yah, the beer was very good, but seven dollars for one small glass? One of our friends half-jokingly insisted that the price must include the glass as a souviner, but I knew that they probably wanted ten bucks alone just for the glass (they had a gift/T-shirt shop on one wall of the venue). There's only so much money one should spend on entertainment/night out/dining just to feel trendy and/or support the artisan movement in Rhode Island. Won't be going back and certainly won't recommend it to others - sorry! read more

Very cool brewery. They make their own stuff and have a variety of brands, hence the guild reference and it cha ges everytime your there which allows for some diversity. During Covid I've had nothing but great experiences at The Guild until yesterday. Although my server Molly was amazing and deserves a 5 star the hostess was extremely unprofessional and seemed to be having a bad. When we arrived for our 4:30pm reservations we was 10mins late and understood with the protocols placed we had limited time. Sarah started off with an attitude upon arrival reminding us our reservations ended at 6:15pm. We had our pups with us and was seated at a table under the sun. We kindly ask Molly if we were able to move to a shaded area but with other reservations arriving soon we were unable to do so. She was polite when unable to accommodate us offering to move indoors. Sarah on the other hand seemed bothered by us moving indoors and within a 40min time frame reminded us twice we had to leave by 6:15 after ordering flatbread and beers. Yes Sarah we understood the first time! The place was practically empty and there was no other customers waiting for their reservations. We ordered our last round at 5:55pm at 6:10 we asked Sarah if we could at least finish are beers she replied with just hurry and finished. At this point I wanted to leave with my purchased beer and never return. She had the nerve to yell at me for wanting to leave with my beer and yell about not having my mask on at the time. I went into the establishment with my mask on to use the restroom and when I arrived. I am not one to ignore the protocols placed during these times. Of course I didn't have my mask at being rushed to leave at this point I just wanted to leave and never return. I recommend that Sarah go through customer service training. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this brewery after yesterday. You would think one would be welcoming after weeks of no public business and treat their paying customers with respect and courtesy. Thanks for ruining one of my favorite breweries. read more
