Small confession: I'm not a regular beer drinker. But I found some fantastic brews...there really is something for everyone. (The booklet was super helpful to me). The venue was a little loud and echo-y, and the educational talks were impossible to hear, but the place was filled with good energy. It would have been nice to have some tall tables to collect oneself/drink beer/snack, but I'm not sure where they would've gone... Smart moves: band outside singing "have your ID ready" ( both for entertainment value and practical purposes). The line was fairly sizable but moved quicker than I expected. Even the longest lines at the beer tables moved quickly, and having beer upstairs and downstairs was a good way to split up crowds. It seemed like endless amounts of beer, which is probably the actualization of a beer nirvana. I had a great time and would definitely recommend! read more

I've gone to Beervana for the past 4 years & love the new format for 2019 that allows for 2 Saturday sessions. Having an afternoon & night session allowed for smaller crowds. I attended the afternoon session & getting into the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was a breeze. I had no issues waiting for pours at most brewer's tables. It seemed there were a few absences (Goose Island, Bell's & Sam Adams) but there were other breweries taking their place. I always like the special one off collaboration brews that you can only get at Beervana. The attending breweries always bring their A games & love showcasing their brews. There are beer festivals almost weekly but Beervana is definitely the premier one in New England if you ask me. read more

As usual the organizers of this event Hit it out of the park. I have been many times before but I think this was the best one yet. To start off the line to get in was huge but I didn't mind waiting since they had a pretty decent band Playing while we waited. They came around and checked Ids and scanned Tickets while we waited in line. This was genius. That meant come six we all walked in and didn't have to wait ! The amount of Brewers and selections that was there was mind Blowing. There was no way you can possibly try everything but i sure tried. One thing they did This year which was smart was to have some Brewers upstairs. It made the crowds way less and way easier to get around to the different tables. I loved the booklet that we were given as we walked in that shows the breweries and what they had to offer. It made it easy to pick out the ones I wanted to try and remember later on. If your a beer lover of any kind you should go. If your a beer geek then you must go. It's a no miss event every year. I'm already looking forward to the next one. read more

I have been going to this beer tasting event for a couple years now and this honestly has to be one of the best / my favorite craft beer fests I have attended in the state of Rhode Island. From the brewers & beer selection, the venue and the staff...this is definitely the yearly can't miss event for craft beer enthusiasts. What makes Beervana unlike most other beer fests in the state is that it brings together many local, regional and national microbreweries offering samples of not only some of their staple beers but also many unique / rare / vintage / limited release beers that you might not be able to try anywhere else. There are also seminars that take place during the evening with different brewers which are educational and a great opportunity to find out more about a particular brewery and beer varieties they produce. Having this event at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet has been very accommodating space wise for both the amount of breweries present and the number of people in attendance. It is usually a great atmosphere of people who you can tell really enjoy craft beers and the staff putting on the event are very friendly and seem to make everything run so incredibly smoothly. Beervana is the ultimate craft beer festival the state has to offer and I already can't wait to be in attendance again next year. read more

What a great event!! Nothing like your favorite craft beers in one room serving up tastes of their specialty beers. Always wanted to try a Sam Adams Utopia? This is the place to go!! Volunteer staff executes this event flawlessly, entry line moves right along, complimentary water bottle upon arrival and snacks for purchase. They offer seminars for those looking for a little beer lesson and brewers are more than willing to answer any question you may have. Can't wait for next year! read more

Definitely the best craft beer fest in RI. Hand's down. No joke. . When you get 3 wicked beer geeks organizing a beer show, you get nothing but a top notch selection. The states first and best CRAFT Beer event. Only top notch craft beer from great craft brewers. Event focuses on education over mass counsupsion with limited ticket sales so you can really take some time and talk with the brewers. Well worth your time and money if your into really good beer. This is the 5th year of Beervana and I heard there are going to be some big surprises this year. read more
