Great go to slices while downtown Prescott. We enjoyed multiple kinds of pie! We will be back

This place is excellent for stopping in and getting slices of pizza. The take home pizza is never quite as good. Definitely worth try. read more

This place was shit........ Ordered a large pizza for 32.00$. We couldn't even finish two pieces of pizza, so bad! We left the pizza on the table to let the staff know what shit it was. We went to another restaurant in the area. NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!! read more

This place does not offer fried pickles even though mentioned online. We decided not to eat here because the food sitting out cold did not look good read more

Margherita pizza is to die for! Customer service was great! Would definitely eat here again when In the area!

Terribly managed. Employees made fun of customers orders. Incredibly rude and snarky. I would recommend people DO NOT eat at this restaurant. read more

The Grumpy Sicilian - These are the employees we had... - Pizza Near Me - Prescott, Arizona

I saw the review of some ridiculous person who said the pizza was not good here. They must have an ulterior motive because the pizza is the BEST bar none in town. Have lived in NY, NJ, and many places and this pizza rocks! Maybe they went during short staff during Covid or when others just up and quit their jobs like everywhere else now. The owner is hard working, he is indeed grumpy, but the best pizza maker in town. read more

My boyfriend and I went around the downtown square ranking the pizzas because we had time to kill and out of the six stops we had, The Grumpy Sicilian was our favorite. They were very polite and the ambiance was quiet but comfortable. Since then we've visited a few times now and it never fails to amaze us with how good it is. 100% recommended for a quiet day out or if just looking for a slice of pizza! read more

Stoped in here after shopping. Have lived in Az just 9yrs. By far the best pizza & calzone we have had since we moved from the east coast (Jersey &NY) !!! Thin crisp crust, great sauce and the ingredients are fresh. We will absolutely be spreading the word to friends! So glad to have this business so close. read more

Best Pizza intown !! Guys are friendly and use quality ingredients. The slice that has the Ricotta cheese , tomatoes and spinach is amazing ! Prices are more than fair compared to others read more

The pizza is mid. The flavors are just not there. It wasn't horrible but definitely not the hype some of the reviews were giving it.

I think it's funny how it states on their website they have a "New York Attitude". Poor customer service is more like it. Why open up a business to treat customers badly. When I was inquiring about the different pizzas, I was treated like I was a nuisance and wasting their time. Their pizza isn't even worth reviewing. It was horrible. read more

Great place to stop for a slice. Full menu with salad and burgers too. A lot of pizza choices.

Hubby and I went tonight cause everything else was pretty much closed. We go up and Oder a 10 inch meat lovers or whatever and he goes 'oh I have one here, 3 slices is the same price' so he sells us that, we get a beer which is half foam and a root beer which was fine. 21 dollars for 3 slices, half a beer and a ok root beer...not even full. Forget this place. Don't go. read more

Fantastic place. The service is friendly. The portions are huge. The food is great.

Unfortunately I can't write a review about the food because we didn't even order it before we left. It may be the grumpy Sicilian but that's no way to treat customers. Family of 6 came in to get some food and we were checking out the display of single slice pizza. My mom was excited about how yummy it looks and is going off about what she thinks the different ones may be. I assume he's the owner, stops and tells her not to say what it is if she doesn't know what it is. Although, she was in fact asking a question at the time. Unbelievable! read more

I grew up in New Jersey right across from NYC. I lived and worked in NY as well. If there is anything I know about, it's good NY pizza. Grumpy's is as authentic and delicious as NY pizza can get. Sal, the owner, is from NY and has been in the pizza business back there for many years. Wouldn't be surprised if he was fed pizza as a baby. My wife and I are regulars at "Grumpy's." Sal and Pricilla treat you like your family. When you walk in, it's like your actually walking into a real NY pizzeria. read more

5 stars for me... the pizza was delicious the sauce was definitely tasty on it. I ordered a slice of meat lovers and I like my pizza well done and it was perfection. Service was excellent told them it was our first time and they explained the different pizzas. Good little spot for a pit stop. read more

Delicious pizza! I love that they also have the option to get pizza by the slice or a whole pie. Great place to have family dinner.

So, didn't actually eat here because of the way employee(s) were handling the food, without gloves. To add to the unhygienic behavior we also watched him wipe his perspiration, various surfaces, and customers food, then touch money from the register. And, we all know how disgusting handling cash can be. This would have been my first time here and really wanted to sink my teeth in some Sicilian pizza. But was let down before I even got a chance and I walked straight out. I will not return be returning. read more

Best NY style Pizza Pie in town. Just got takeout: Large cheese pie and a Pepperoni Calzone. The pizza was terrific. Delicious cheese and nice sauce, perfectly cooked. Reminded me of my youth in NYC. The Calzone was equally delicious. Nice size, good amount of ricotta, tender pepperoni. Beautiful! Love the Grumpy. read more

Stopped by to grab a slice of pizza, best decision I have made in a while. I chose the meat eaters slice, so good I had to get another. 2 slices is too much, but I could not stop eating. Thanks for a great lunch read more

The family and I traveled north from Surprise on a Sunday afternoon to play in the snow. Ended up here for lunch after taking a quick look at the reviews. It's a small venue so seating is limited. It started filling up quick not soon after we walked in. The place has a cool atmosphere. The many different freshly made pizzas were on display in front of you as you stepped up to order. Kinda reminded me of a Baskin Robbins except with Pizza slices instead of ice cream. Just the grumpy Sicilian and the cashier were the only two I saw working there. So it's a help yourself kind of place. Our Pizzas were awesome and so was the fried zucchini. Only negative we could see was the $1 refills on the fountain soda which I thought was a little ridiculous. I mean your already filling the 1st serving to the top with ice for crying out loud. You could sacrifice one free refill before you start charging your customers. Especially since although the pizza was good it was by no means cheap. read more

Love this place! We visit the area several times every summer. Best pizza I've had in a very long time! Can't wait to visit again! They have lots of different kinds of pizza by the slice and other Italian dishes that Ian dying to try! See ya all soon read more

I ordered a pasta dish on line for delivery and after arriving 1/2 hour late, I discovered that the pasta dish was put on a pizza and did not include the sausage that I paid extra for. I called the establishment and they told me they don't do pasta dishes and he said he spoke to me and I was okay with it being on a pizza. I never spoke to anyone, it was all done online. I will never use this establishment again, they were argumentative and not willing to make it right read more

The pizza was just ok, I mean I guess it's good for Prescott, not good enough to go back IMO. Also, the owner was rude. More importantly, not one single employee was wearing a mask. That's just brainless but there are enough "patriots" and deniers in town to possibly keep them afloat. Time will tell. read more

A quiet hole in the wall pizza shop. Great menu selection and prices. Walked in on a whim for a quick bite of lunch while visiting Prescott. Got a 10 inch godfather. Crust was crispy, airy and light and ingredients were cooked perfectly. Would definitely go and get more food from them later on. read more

Great NY style pie. Shout out to William who took our order last night. That kid is a gem!! It's the little things like the way he cut our Stromboli in half to make it easier to share. Thank you William! read more

great food , cannolis just like the ones I get in NY and the staff is great read more

The Grumpy Sicilian - Pizza Near Me - Prescott, Arizona

The best Italian food that I had in many years. My wife raved about the Alfredo and I loved the Penne Sicialano. You can have your pasta dish with any one of many styles of pasta and sauce. Not to mention that their tiramisu was to die for. We'll be back real soon! And, they have phenomenal service. Just a bit, grumpy though. read more

The food was alright, the jalapeño poppers were the worst I've had and the staff was pretty rude. I understand they were busy but the customer service was lacking! They were rude to every person in line in front and behind me read more

My husband and I had just moved here and he loves pizza and I not so much. We'll we went downtown one day and he wanted to grab a slice and the pizza with vodka sauce which I love I went ahead and tried and now we go every week so I can get some oizza. I love it and the husband and wife are awesome too.. definitely recommend this place read more

Best pies in Yavapai County, hands down. Everything on the menu is amazing. The chicken parm rolls are absolutely amazing. The service is fast and accurate. If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out. read more

What a great slice of pizza. No matter what type of pizza you won't be disappointed. Tiny quaint place. The chicken gravy fries are a must have when you're hitting up bars on Whiskey row. I don't blame them for not wearing masks. Cooking with the size of the oven could cause excessive over heating. They even deliver to local bars on the row when they can. read more

Great pizza but the man that was making them was SO RUDE to everyone. He was being very aggressive and had attitude for no reason. Made us feel uncomfortable and rushed. Also the wings were cold and flavor was not it. read more

I went to Prescott to escape the heat, but Prescott was hot and this place turned a cold shoulder to my presence. I was there a little over a week ago on a Friday, so that means I took off work to be discriminated by the server at this place. I walked in around noon with my husband. To add context, I'm Black and my husband is white. We stop at this place and there was a couple ahead of us, they get their food and I thought the guy would at least say hi. He did not, so I continue looking at the menu on the wall. Another couple come in and they walk right past us to the counter, I guess they thought we were trying to make up our minds. He greets them, so I'm thinking maybe he didn't see this beautiful black woman, so I go around to the other side, he looks me dwarf in the eye and says nothing. So, I was like ok, that happened..so I left. I googled racism in Prescott and apparently they have a problem, so it's not a place I'll visit again. I no longer go where I'm not welcome. read more

From a Siciliano Italiano girl......absolutely delicious pizza with a great staff. Please support this local business that was impacted by this awful virus. XOXO read more

I would give this place five stars but here is the break down. But in full disclosure and all fairness I have to confess that I lost my taste for pizza a few years back. I will eat it, but I truly no longer crave it as I have in the past. We were at Watson Lake when the clouds rolled in- you need to understand that this is not a common occurrence in Arizona let alone on a summer day, but scrammed from there and were gonna find some grub. My son who drove down from Flagstaff to meet us driving up from Tucson just wanted to do take out. he works with blood and care for my mom (81) and aunt (87) so we both are very COVID aware. We drove a few blocks looking for park when a spot opened up right in front of the Grumpy Sicilian. As soon as we opened our car doors the garlic, yeast and tomato aroma overwhelmed our senses. We did not bother to look for another eating spot. This was it. However, we both taken aback when we noticed not a single worker was wearing a mask. We sent my husband in to do the ordering. We kept our distance outside. The crust was prefect- the topping ratios spot on. My son also had the chicken parmesan and he wolfed that down so fast I thought he did not get his order. It will have to be after we are in control of COVID before I return but when that happens I will stop here again. So I would have give the experience a five star except for the unmasked staff members. read more

Unsanitary and unprofessional. I was overcharged for food that had been sitting for hours, in an Unsanitary area, and was told that menu prices change at different times and that I was not allowed to have a receipt. read more

Beer was piss warm. Only thing New York about it was the bad service. Pizza was ehhh. Would not recommend this place.
