Chelsey brought up the fact that during the regrouting procedure a tile or two may get chipped. If we had replacement tiles then they would be able to replace it for us. Chelsey and I discussed the fact that several large pieces of furniture in the Master bedroom would need to be moved and she assured me that they would move the furniture. On 10/18/2019 , the scheduled day for the work, one crew member arrived. I mentioned and showed him the furniture in the bedroom needing to be moved and his first response was that they just generally work around the furniture. I told him that was unacceptable because there would be a slight color difference in the grout when we moved the furniture at a later date or sold the house or something. I called Chelsey and she said that her husband Matt would be by later to help move furniture. After waiting several hours for Matt to arrive he acted inconvenienced and unfriendly. He refused to move a tv cabinet and an amoire. At this time I also noticed a tile on the kitchen counter was chipped. I questioned whether it happened during regrouting. (this is not my home, it my bosses home) I had never noticed the chip before. I brought this up with Matt , his first response was denial and wouldn't even consider the notion that their process did it. I tried to explain the agreement with Chelsey to replace chipped tile and he just went off on me. He yelled and told me they would not replace the tile. I kept trying to explain my position but he just talked over me and continually cut me off. He wouldn't let me speak and was clearly trying to intimidate me. I asked him to leave and I walked into the office and proceeded to call Chelsey. Matt followed me into the office and continued to rant. I asked him to leave again, He didn't. I got Chelsey on the phone and told her to listen to how Matt was yelling at me. Her response was, what will make you happy. I said, replace the tile. She said okay and then Matt really escalated in his anger. He yelled, "he didn't care what Chelsey said, they weren't replacing the tile. I asked Matt for at least the third time to leave the property before he finally did. This was becoming a little frightening and not something I have ever experienced with any contractor I have worked with. Due to may job, Home Manager for almost 20 years, I have dealt with 100's of contractors and have never had to ask one to leave the property At this point even if they offered to replace the tile, I would not feel comfortable or safe having them in my home, my bosses home or anyone else's home. This man has anger issues.

My tile guy told me how much to purchase based on our space to be tiled. All contractors over order tile to ensure job can get completed without delay. I had 6 boxes of unused, unopened tile and they will not allow me to return it. While it does say that on my receipt after I purchased, I feel they should of verbally explained that to me before I ordered. I would of ordered less, then ordered more later if needed or I would of taken my business elsewhere.

I've debated posting this for weeks, especially seeing other reviews where the owner argues with…read morepeople like a brat who didn't get her way. But after my experience, I would urge people not to spend their hard earned money on a business with an immature business owner with the worst communication skills. Let me preface that we have always been fairly happy with our service. We've had a few not so great cleans, but for the most part, we've been happy. There were just some things we couldn't get past which caused us to cancel our services. We had requested on numerous occasions one cleaner not return to our home - despite this, she has been assigned twice that we can remember. When my husband texted Debra about it, without a response back, he followed up the next day asking if the request for another cleaner and day change to accommodate another cleaner had been done. Debra had responded back "when things are asked of us, we get it done." Additionally, I did not receive a response to my text about it. Personally, I don't think that was the way to respond to a customer who was following up on something that was ignored, but we brushed it off because you can't tell tone over texts. Fast forward - in July, we were supposed to get a cleaner on our normal scheduled day, however it was the 4th of July that Friday) we thought they'd send one on Thursday, but nothing. It would be nice if they would let a customer know that due to holidays, when their next service would be. Fast forward to about a month ago, the cleaner who we asked not to return showed up to our home. Additionally, the cleaner we requested was changed because they thought someone else would be a better fit for us. I called Debra about it, and while sharing our frustrating experience in the nicest tone possible, and letting her know we really liked dealing with them but that I had some feedback to share, she straight up hung up on me while I was mid-sentence. Then had her poor admin (Erin I think her name was) call me to do damage control and clean up her mess because she couldn't handle bad feedback and hung up. Why would you want to work for someone like that? I know she will get on here and argue and rebuttal, and that alone should have been the first red flag for us - seeing how innappropriately she responds to reviews that are not in her favor. Stay away from here. There are way better businesses in MOCO.

Customer service started off great-our salesman Jason was helpful and responsive... until the job…read morewas finished. Once the floors were installed, everything changed. The installers showed up unannounced a day early, mid-day, when we weren't expecting them. Jason had told us it would take two full 8-hour days to complete the job, but the crew rushed through it in about 6 hours total. The results clearly show it. The craftsmanship was poor-trim work was rough, and they even installed wood boards with chips and damage already on them. Since then, it's been a frustrating and exhausting process just trying to get someone to come fix it under warranty. Repeated attempts to reach Jason were mostly ignored. When he did respond, he gave excuses and never followed through. We finally got in touch with customer service, who scheduled the warranty repair weeks out. The first set of workers once again showed up without notice when no one was home. They couldn't reschedule and left. We had to contact customer service again to rebook another repair appointment. Today, the second set of workers showed up --again with no warning-and came without any of the needed materials to fix the chipped boards, damaged trim, or transition pieces. So now we're over a month past installation, and we still have messed-up floors with no clear timeline for repair. This has been one of the most frustrating home improvement experiences we've ever had. I wouldn't recommend Floors for Living to anyone.
