My husband and I hired Pavers Y Mas to install pavers at our home along the driveway. We are very…read morehappy with the service, the work and the fair pricing we received. We worked with Paul (one of the company owners) as our contact. He helped us choose the pavers we liked best. Paul shared locations we could go to see of other homes with previously installed pavers. The installation crew worked diligently to install the pavers, and it looks beautiful. Paul helped us find some new landscaping bushes and his crew installed them too. A pathway was added on the side of the house that looks great too. Thank you, Pavers Y Mas!

Read their clauses in their contract carefully…read more In hindsight I feel a full service provider such as Hogue Landscape or similar companies may make more sense as they grade, do a free design, install, check your irrigation rather than show up with a bunch of trees of debatable quality & wish you luck. If you read their response, you will see the onus they put on the buyer as in daily monitoring their trees, keeping a log etc. Well, most people have a job, kids etc & do not sit in the backyard with a journal all day recording each leaf that falls. bottom line - Verdant installed 28 trees of which 26 died in a month!! Ignoring their loooong list of excuses, if that makes sense or is acceptable, then i guess that's that . I blew $15,000 with them and had to redo my backyard with someone with experience and my yard now looks terrific. dm me for pics or lessons learnt. Good luck with your project!

I called and ordered over the phone and left the tree selection to Carrie. Trusted her to pick a nice tree. A few days later a team of tree guys came and professionally planted the tree in my front yard. Nice guys. Especially Israel. Within 30-40 minutes the tree was in the ground. Beautiful. decent size. full. Carrie did pick a great tree for us. we could not be more happy. I was replacing a 25 year old red oak which was uprooted during the recent Houston storms. In retrospect we are actually happy the oak is gone. Thank you Verdant and especially Carrie. Great job. See the picture below!!

Avery knew each of their wide selection of plants and shrubs like the back of his hand. In addition to Houston Garden Centers for regular fare, I regularly enjoy shopping at Buchanan's and Joshua's nurseries because of their unique and native varieties. Today, though, I was introduced to plants and shrubs at TGU that are just as native or unique and that I had never seen in Houston before. Avery was impossibly patient, thorough, and easy to get on with as he helped me pick out good low-maintenance options for my hodge-podge cottage-style garden. Though The Ground Up is set up mostly for plant sales to landscapers and professionals, they also sell to individuals at retail prices (only on Saturdays I believe). Sasha, when I checked out, was very sweet, funny, and very charming. I've been to their Richmond location and can't speak very highly of it, but this Brittmoore Rd TGU was brilliant.

They made the delivery of mulch in the morning then the delivery of the boulders in the late afternoon. Thank you so much for splitting the delivery. It gave me time to lay down the mulch in time for the boulders to be delivered. I don't know if that was done deliberately or not, but it sure was helpful and worked out beautifully. We certainly would NOT have thought of the timing. The gentleman that delivered it was EXTREMELY helpful and FRIENDLY. We could not have asked for a better delivery. Thank you!

I bought this because they had some beautiful flowers all around. I brought it home replanted in a bigger pot and have been nurturing this plant and was wondering why nothing has sprouted no flowers st all. Finally a couple days ago these white flowers started coming out and so I was like well maybe it's the white version. Boy was I wrong - little berries started popping up with white star like flowers. Come to find out they sold me a black nightshade a very poisonous plant to dogs and I have dogs and pretty at all, so disappointing. Not cool at all I think they charged me $30. So caution when buying.
