To set the scene it was 3:40pm they close at 4:00pm and still were incredibly welcoming. I let them know I would be super quick I just wanted to see their nursery. They gave me advice, showed me where a few things were, and I left with 5 plants at 3:58pm. Even with it being the end of the day they didn't rush me or seem annoyed that I was there. They have HUGE selection of plants (even peggy martin roses I know those have been hard to find lately). All the plants looked really healthy and they seem to be pretty on par for pricing. I'm excited to come back another time (with some more time) to really dig in and look around.

For this project, I aerated and dethatched part of my front yard and it was in need of a good base layer for the soil to recover; in addition to, landscaping a front patio area. I ordered 1 1/2 Cubic Yard Leaf Mold Compost, 1/2 Yard of Landscaper mix, a few Black-eyed Susan, a Mexican Sage bush and some other pollinators. Due to the time saved from gathering all my materials from this one location saved me $$$ and I was able to complete the project in a weekend. If your need is not as expansive they offer bagged soil for smaller needs, but to get the best value I would partner with a fellow DIYers with pickup trucks and order loose materials or have it delivered on site. Nature's Way Resources also have a big selection of mulch, compost, fertilizers and offer a Green Waste Recycling program. If you read this post to the end, I will let you in on a little secret.....they have a rock garden in the rear where contractors and DIYers dump material not needed and you will find some gems for FREE. All you need to do is sign a liability waiver at the front desk and recommend you have some sturdy steel toe boots, gloves, and watch out for critters.

I usually don't shop at Home Depot since I frequent Lowe's more, but since HD is closer on 1488, I…read morehave been visiting this location. The customer service is a hit or miss here. Majority of the time when I come here, I am searching high and low to find something. No employees in sight. They almost remind me of Walmart. However, I came in the other night to stock up on my cleaning supplies. HD didn't have all that Lowe's has and I started to leave, but I stayed. It was frustrating to see that all the cleaning supplies aren't in the same area. At Lowe's, all cleaning supplies is on the same bay. I couldn't find the drain cleaner or the recycling bags. I asked an employee who was standing talking with his coworkers in the paint aisle for the blue recycling bags. I wasn't sure who covered the cleaning supplies aisle. He said that they didn't have them only the brown paper bags. He told me that I have to get the drain cleaner from plumbing aisle and suggested that I get the black bottle one. I went to the plumbing aisle and saw plenty of black colored bottles of drain cleaner, so his suggestion was too ambiguous and I ended up getting the lemon scent pods at which I came in for. I usually by the brand from Target, but was already at HD. When I got to the self checkout line. Employee, Brandon gladly assisted me by ringing up my items for me and asked if I had found everything. I told him no. I told him that his coworker told me that HD doesn't carry the blue recycling bags in inventory. I told him that I would check at Lowe's at a later date (though, I needed the bags now as my recyclables were pilling up) Brandon told me that he could search for the bags at Lowe's and HD. After searching on his handheld, he mentioned that HD does indeed carry them. He showed the product to me on his device. He offered to show them to me by escorting me to the location in store. I paid for my other items and agreed. He walked me over to the aisle and bay at which Huffy Multipurpose blue bags with the red string were. They were exact bags that my townhome community carries and uses for recycling. I was very happy that he went the extra mile for me. He left his self checkout line post to walk me over there. I thanked him for his efforts. He replied, he will do anything for customer satisfaction. I love that! I used to work retail and had the same values in mind. I just wish his other coworkers that I came in contact with was the same, but they weren't. I will continue to visit this location out of proximity, but next time I'll go to Lowe's for my cleaning supplies.

Not only was he right but because I'd undercounted the number of bolts I needed I would have had to make a second trip back if I'd only purchased the amount I initially thought I needed.
