And Plants For All Seasons is the place to go for REAL GOOD advice for your lawn or garden. Excellent and diverse selection of bedding flowers. Lots of herbs in the spring. Plant your bluebonnets in the fall for flowers in the spring! And - thanks to their directions, my bluebonnets looks fabulous (hoping for a great bloom come spring). If you've got special needs for your lawn - like a particularly tough weed to get rid of or you need a pet-friendly lawn fertilizer, this is the place to go. They've got what you need to keep your yard and garden looking great, and they are always willing to help you along in your endeavors. Lovely selection of wind chimes, pots and beautiful items in their adjoining gift shop. Get the frequent buyer card - wow, that pays off! Bypass the big-box type home improvement shops with a garden area. Often I'll buy flowers or plants there, and sure enough, they die. Everything I've planted that I've bought from Plants For All Seasons does well (except for those pesky squirrels digging up stuff!). Staff is always pleasant and helps you load things in your car. An overzealous exterminator killed the bushes in the front lawn. Diminishing the curb appeal to the house. It was like missing front teeth! A staff member spent at least 30 minutes walking me through the grounds showing me options for trees and shrubs, answering questions and teaching me how to plant. She even drew diagrams! I left with Japanese Camellias to replace the dead shrubs, soil, compost and confidence that i made the right choice. They carried my purchases to the car and were careful to lay big plastic bags for my trunk and back seat for protection. So nice of them! The price was just right too. I later compared prices with a flyer from a big box store and found them to be the same. read more

I love this place. I give it 4 stars because it's a little pricey on name brand products. We looked at Orchid replanting stuff at 10 bucks a bag. You can buy the same thing at Home Depot for half the price. Price compare on name brand products. 'Nuff said on that topic. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When we bought our house the sellers left some plants behind. We had no clue what they were but we took care of them anyway. Finally, we took pictures of the two and took them to "Plants". Their staff Arborist quickly identified them. One is a Papaya tree and the other is a Cayenne Pepper plant. We love hot peppers. We'll get good use of that plant. We thought it was an ornamental pepper plant and we were letting those peppers go to waste. Shame on us! They have great sales on plants that need TLC. My wife bought 1 dozen orchids this past week at $1.99 each. They normally sell for $20 each. What a bargain. Yes, they are a little damaged but my wife has "the touch" with indoor plants. She can bring anything back to life. They also had an entire section (HUGE) that was marked down 70% with plants that just needed a bit of loving. There was nothing that I was looking for that day but it would've made a great addition to any garden. All that's missing is a military discount. I won't hold that against them. Not everyone gives that. Besides, I shop the sales and those prices are cheap enough. read more

After visiting this nursery many times over the last couple years, I have concluded that most of the older staff is either racist or only caters to those that "look" rich. An older lady I've spoken with a couple times has been condescending, irritable and loves to correct you. The older staff come across judgmental, in a bad mood and/or clearly racist. The younger staff at the registers have better manners. I went into the little gift shop today, the lady looked at me and my children and did not speak. I purposely stayed in there for 25 minutes and she never once said a word. An older white couple came in carrying a LV purse and she instantly spoke to them and asked if they needed help. Need I say more? I was going to buy a $115 swing and decided against it due to the treatment. I bought over $150 in plants and a $60 pot while there. Today will be my LAST time every coming here. I always seem to leave this nursery in an unpleasant mood. The negative energy there is transferred every time. read more

Went out of my way to come to this nursery thinking I would get more of a personal experience than at a big box nursery. I had previously shopped here years ago and was very pleased. I needed some help/advice on plants that would help repel mosquitoes. I was directed outside to the "sales ladies". None even made eye contact with me so I just chose the nearest to approach and ask, an elderly woman with white hair. She would barely look at me, mumbled that all she had was lemongrass and walked away while I was mid question. The other sales key who was with her, much younger with long blonde hair, didn't even look up at me either. I left with my baby without purchasing anything. read more

My wife researched plants that purify the air and based on what she found and some research by NASA, we decided to purchase a fiddle leaf fig. After we got it home and set it up, we had a infestation of gnats. The store told us to bring it back. We chose to get a refund rather than wait 3-4 weeks for them to treat the plant. A slight hassle, but no real problem. A female employee then decides to have an attitude with my wife about how she just googled the fiddle leaf fig and didn't find any info about the plant purifying the air and none of the other plants listed on NASA's research purify air either. The employee then told my wife that if air purifying is so important to her, she had better go home and do some research or just buy an air purifier. Train your employees better. When one applicator malfunctioned I went back and they gave me a replacement, no questions asked. I have a house in Klein that has had many problems. Lawn, trees, beds, are all a mess and have been for a while. I pass by this place twice a day taking the kids to school and practice, and have never stopped in until today.. 1st, I had a million stupid questions. 2nd, It RAINED!!! Russ is a garden Guru!! He went over my list, showed me some options, and just now emailed a compost list to me. OK! I now know what I need to do for winter and spring vegetables! I also found out what to do with my Dads' satsuma cuttings!! This place is like a park, it's HUGE! They had a lot of heat stressed plants, but I must've seen 20 hummingbirds, and hundreds of butterflies! - where are they in my yard?? While my opinion on my experience with their return policy has not changed, I do want to amend my review as PfAS is unparalleled in its offerings of bedding plants. They always carry 4" perennials too, which makes for a very affordable way to build a bed. One can mix their flat, which is a great as well. They have a much broader selection than any big box store, and since prices at the big box stores have risen, PfAS pricing on bedding plants is inline with competitors. read more

We bought a Christmas tree for the 1st time from this nursery. The tree is totally infested with aphids. I called to inform the nursery so they could be aware and proactive in treating other trees on the lot. I was told that it was impossible for my tree to have aphids and basically accused of lying. I try to support local businesses at all costs, but I can't see myself ever buying from a store that accuses their customers of lying about bugs. I'm very upset that I have an infested tree, particularly with a bug that stains my rug. I have purchased real trees for 16 years and have never had this problem, until this year when I purchased from Plants of All Seasons. read more

This location is not owned and operated by the same folks who run the older store with the same name on 249, and boy is it noticeable. Good luck getting the pack of stoners out from behind the counter (are 5 dudes needed to run a cash register?) or get their faces out of their phones. They don't hide that it's a hassle to interact with shoppers. They don't know about the products they're selling, but will recommend anything to get you out of the store, even if it kills your yard/garden. I recommend you head to 249 and experience a knowledgeable and polite staff. read more

Beautiful and wonderful addition to the Spring community. When I went I found healthy plants at an affordable price and employees that seem to be passionate about their work. We enjoyed the winding trail through the tree beds, the compost tea, and the gift shop full of bright beautiful gifts. This establishment was not something I expected to see in a Texas and would be much more in line with a modern northeast community with bike lanes and wind farms. Love it! read more

The most horrible customer services I have ever experienced. I spent over $100 there today, and I regret it so much. Never asked if I needed any help. And then when I checked out I was double charged for a plant. Was never asked if I needed any help taking all those plants to my vehicle. When I noticed the over charge, I went back in to question, sure enough the sign in front of the plant said one price, and I was charged double. I brought it to their attention and the lady ripped off the sign, and argued with me. She talked to me like I was stupid. And there it was right there in front of her. She made up these excuses, but she was not going to budge on honoring the right price. I will never return, and I will tell all my friends of the crooked dealings going on there. As an employee of KISD, I love to introduce real nature to the students. In support of my science teacher, I had a wooden butterfly nursery made for the class - complete with it's own wooden cart to move it around. During the migration seasons, I'd fill it with milkweed - complete with caterpillar eggs. I had so many caterpillars and not enough milkweed. After school, I raced to this store for 4 lush plants. The people who work there love to hear stories - what you are doing what where- anyway, I told the man at the cash register what the plants were for and asked more about the plant since I was fairly unfamiliar with it. Then after the conversation, I gave the cashier my debit card - and he gave it back saying "educate the kids about butterflies, it's on us!" This year, for an event I organize call Monet Day- I envisioned the students surrounded by flowering plants while the paint, taste "French" foods and listen to French music. When I talked to the owner, I also gave him a flier and a letter signed by the principal about the event showing we are legitimate. It was a long-shot, but I asked to borrow flowering plants for the students to paint and see up close, then returned the next day in perfect condition. This store, these people are so good for our community and our kids! I cannot thank them enough! read more
