This location is much bigger than the other. Nice layout and clear walkways. Staff seemed nice enough, but not as friendly as the two forty nine location.

An overzealous exterminator killed the bushes in the front lawn. Diminishing the curb appeal to the house. It was like missing front teeth! A staff member spent at least 30 minutes walking me through the grounds showing me options for trees and shrubs, answering questions and teaching me how to plant. She even drew diagrams! I left with Japanese Camellias to replace the dead shrubs, soil, compost and confidence that i made the right choice. They carried my purchases to the car and were careful to lay big plastic bags for my trunk and back seat for protection. So nice of them! The price was just right too. I later compared prices with a flyer from a big box store and found them to be the same.

    Sun mix. Beautiful.

I love this place. I give it 4 stars because it's a little pricey on name brand products. We looked at Orchid replanting stuff at 10 bucks a bag. You can buy the same thing at Home Depot for half the price. Price compare on name brand products. 'Nuff said on that topic. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. When we bought our house the sellers left some plants behind. We had no clue what they were but we took care of them anyway. Finally, we took pictures of the two and took them to "Plants". Their staff Arborist quickly identified them. One is a Papaya tree and the other is a Cayenne Pepper plant. We love hot peppers. We'll get good use of that plant. We thought it was an ornamental pepper plant and we were letting those peppers go to waste. Shame on us! They have great sales on plants that need TLC. My wife bought 1 dozen orchids this past week at $1.99 each. They normally sell for $20 each. What a bargain. Yes, they are a little damaged but my wife has "the touch" with indoor plants. She can bring anything back to life. They also had an entire section (HUGE) that was marked down 70% with plants that just needed a bit of loving. There was nothing that I was looking for that day but it would've made a great addition to any garden. All that's missing is a military discount. I won't hold that against them. Not everyone gives that. Besides, I shop the sales and those prices are cheap enough.

I really enjoy going to this nursery. I always get great help and advice on how to spruce up whatever project I'm working on. Check it out!

The staff is always very helpful when I go in and help me with whatever project I'm working on. I highly advise going here every spring and fall to spruce up your garden.

Prices are fair for the quality of tree we bought. They gave the tree a fresh cut, and tied it onto the car for us. They also installed a level permanent wooden base at the bottom which made it super easy to stand inside the house. We also bought the Keeps-IT-Green liquid nutrients to lengthen life of the tree. Very nice people, with great customer service. Highly recommend!

Mary was very friendly and helpful! I couldn't believe how busy this place was! They not only have metal signs and yard sculptures, but also carry Mexican pottery, stone, soil, and a variety of plants. We picked out some perennials for a pot & a beautiful vine plant. We needed to run by Lowe's for something else and I saw the same plant there --it was the same price but did not look near as good as the one at Madison Gardens. I highly recommend coming here if you want to spruce up your yard.

Depending on your…read moreproject you can shop at the big box stores which provide for your average needs, but if you are doing any kind of private landscaping, gardening or want the exacting standards of quality materials with low environmental impact then local businesses like Nature's Way Resources is the way to go. For this project, I aerated and dethatched part of my front yard and it was in need of a good base layer for the soil to recover; in addition to, landscaping a front patio area. I ordered 1 1/2 Cubic Yard Leaf Mold Compost, 1/2 Yard of Landscaper mix, a few Black-eyed Susan, a Mexican Sage bush and some other pollinators. Due to the time saved from gathering all my materials from this one location saved me $$$ and I was able to complete the project in a weekend. If your need is not as expansive they offer bagged soil for smaller needs, but to get the best value I would partner with a fellow DIYers with pickup trucks and order loose materials or have it delivered on site. Nature's Way Resources also have a big selection of mulch, compost, fertilizers and offer a Green Waste Recycling program. If you read this post to the end, I will let you in on a little secret.....they have a rock garden in the rear where contractors and DIYers dump material not needed and you will find some gems for FREE. All you need to do is sign a liability waiver at the front desk and recommend you have some sturdy steel toe boots, gloves, and watch out for critters.

This is one of the best, if not the best, native nurseries in greater Houston in my opinion…read more Knowledgeable staff and high-quality offerings for your yard. With extreme weather events more and common, it's a great idea to introduce some native plantings to your yard.
