Had the Hawaiian which only complaint is wish it had more pineapple as the tiny ring was not nearly enough. Fries good. Didn't like the sweet potato fries. Service was ok. Dessert were no good. Had the Oreo brownie and what I thought was supposed to be fried banana but it was fried custard or something. Shame the outside shell was good but filling not. I am so disappointed in their salad part of the menu. I ordered what was their signature salad. It was so lacking of all the ingredients listEd in the menu. The portion is grilled chicken would not have even weighed 1 ounce. actually it was a minimal portion of everything. If I'm ordering a salad for a meal and am will to pay 13 or more dollars I expect more than what I was served. It was as though the waitress made it in a flash and was mad about it. I would never go here again, and the reason why I rate this place a 1-star is because I was a victim of the dishonestly that I witness here. After a meal with my significant other, I charged the bill on my credit card and left tips in CASH, I also wrote CASH where the tip line is located. I left him a 15% tip, although he was not attentive at all, but he still charged a 17% tip on my credit card, and did not realize the charge until my email notified me. It was only about $8, but just the thought of dishonesty disgusts me. I did not get the name of the waiter that waited on us, but because of him, I would NEVER EVER come here again. So, I suggest you to not come here, but if you do, use cash, you have been warned. Don't waste your time. They are obviously not interested in having customers. Had never eaten there but was given a gift card so decided to try it. Went in on a Thursday at 6:00. Waited at the hostess stand for about 15 minutes while 3 different people looked straight at me and went on about their lives. Laid the gift card on the hostess stand and left. I sent an email informing them of my experience and to my complete shock, they didn't respond to that either. My favorite burger place is now my least.. I'm not sure what's going on but the hostess was our waitress, the bartender AND the cook.. I felt pretty bad for her.. the food was ok. But the wait was insane.. obviously because they have like 2/3 employees working tops. There were only 4 people in there for lunchtime, crazy.. the older couple behind us were complaining that the one employee didn't bring any of us silverware so they walked up front and grabbed silverware for everyone in the restaurant. This place is usually my go to for a good burger and chili (my daughter and I like their chili). The burgers are consistently good. The reason for the 3 stars is the cleanliness, or lack there of. There were 3 people in the restaurant and the hostess (don't think she liked her job) sat me at the dirty table. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE HERE!!! I ordered two burgers online and got the message that the order was confirmed after I had paid 28 dollars and eventually it was ready to pick up. I go to pick up the order and the employees looked completely clueless when I asked for my food. Come to find out later that the food never even existed and one employee started telling me that they don't even get the online orders? She started making tons of excuses, saying how they were short staffed even though there was MAYBE 5 tables in the whole restaurant. After she was done feeling making excuses it was revealed that they had indeed received my order but never made the food. SO WHY DID I GET A READY TO PICK UP message??? They just said sorry and that was it. You would expect them to comp my order (because thats what respectable business do) but they didn't. They didn't even offer to actually cook my order at all! The employee said I would get a refund after about three days but I seriously doubt that will happen. I want my 28 dollars back. P.S. This is a good burger joint for lunch. They have a good burger selection as well as a good pulled pork sandwich. I have tried the ribs and they were decent and also the tuna and it was fair. That give you peanuts to snack on which is a nice treat and the drinks come in a steel mug which is also a little unique. In the 15 times or so I have been here the service has always been good and the food comes out fairly quick. You can get in and out in 35 minutes or so which is perfect if you want a nice sit down lunch and don't want fast food. I have never tried he steaks so I can't comment, but to me there are better rib and steak houses near by. I moved to Austin, TX roughly 4 years ago and ever time I come home to Lafayette to visit the family, we always stop by here to grab a burger. I'm not sure what happened to this place but last night was absolutely horrible. First off there were only 7 tables with customers and they piled 5 of us into the same area. The service was really slow and we had to ask for refills everytime and we had to ask to have the dirty dishes cleared. One table ordered 10-15 mins before us and didn't receive their food until about 30 mins after us and all they had were burgers. The food portions were small and just ok for the prices. My meal came with a baked potato which only had butter on it. I asked for the rest of the fixings(cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, and chives) and never received them. The "salad" that came with my meal consisted of chunks of Romain lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, 1 purple onion ring, and 2 pieces of shredded carrot. Second the server wasn't the greatest , she had maybe one table besides us and wasn't very attended , didn't get drinks for 10-15 minutes, never Asked about refills till we were out of drinks completely, didn't prebuss table as we went . She didn't even know the menu, when we ordered food , my dad said Santa Fe burger and instead she brought him the salad, which at the end That is a server mistake because she did not repeat back the order and if that was done at the restaurant I work at we would be trouble because we are taught that in training .He didn't say anything because he didn't wanna make a big deal out of it but I surely spoke up and she didn't try to fix it at all she just said sorry and walked away.
