The is place is awesome! I love the corn and crab bisque. It is close to perfection. No ice beware... the regular is pretty spicy if you are not used to it. Proceed accordingly! The boiled seafood was well seasoned and delicious. It was late in the season, so the crawfish was a little hard as was expected. The bread pudding was another can't miss. The place was very clean, and the wait staff was excellent. The bathrooms were great. I like the additional hand washing station. read more

This was the first time I had ever had a seafood boil like this ...... I drool just thinking about how good it was. The seasoning was delicious and after a few fails I got pretty good at peeling jumbo Louisiana crawfish and gulf shrimp. The potatoes and corn were the perfect texture and temperature. We're how busy the restaurant is they kept things moving along pretty quickly. Wow also giving the feel of a small, southern family gathering atmosphere. if I am ever back in Lafayette Louisiana, this will be one of the first places I go. read more

"Tails & Shells Oysters" ... Best oysters EVER! My husband and I have traveled a LOT, and eaten a LOT of oysters prepared just about every which way. Well, we both agreed that the "Tails & Shells Oysters" at Louisiana Crawfish Time were THE best we had ever had. They are charbroiled on the half shell with crawfish tails, a cream sauce, pepper jack cheese, and diced jalapenos ... Oh. My. God. We had shrimp as well - delicious too. The service was equally excellent. We sat in the bar, and Bartendress Jamie was great, as were the other employees we encountered - whilst RAVING about the oysters. We just moved to the area, and will definitely be back in there soon! read more

Yea nothing special. Crawfish Size was not there and the taste wasn't either. Sucking heads and not even getting that much juice from it. Shame cause it's walking distance for me. Bloody Mary was ok and the boiled shrimp was decent. I like how their tables have the whole so you just toss your shells and trash right in which is convenient instead of trying to play Tetris like other places. Just not that impressed or memorable with anything we ordered and the wait was quite long even with it not swamped like I normally see it. Nice looking place and decent bar area. read more

I was staying in Lafayette for the weekend. I came for the Breaux Bridge Crawfish festival. My crawfish appetite was not satisfied at the festival. I came here to get some real crawfish. I Was definitely not disappointed. The crawfish was big and flavorful. The best that I've had all year. Im from Houston but Louisiana is the cajun country.
