We both ordered a cup of Chicken and Sausage Gumbo to start served with white rice it was absolutely delicious with a dark roux and very flavorful as I expected from these parts. Then the entrées, I knew immediately I wanted the blue point boiled crabs and shrimp with potatoes and corn cooked extra spicy, even though it's messy being the crabs are boiled live and there's work to get to the delicate sweet meat it's worth the effort especially since these blue crabs were very big which made me very happy. My dad decided on the fried shrimp basket that came with fries and a side salad which made me question his choice since I know he loves crab but maybe the blue crabs was a little more work than he wanted to tackle so I ordered him a side of snow crabs which he loves and is much less of a mess, this made him raise his brow but once the food arrived he enjoyed it all not only because it was so delicious but mostly because he and I were sharing a meal that we have enjoyed all my life. The service here was exceptional I know the place wasn't busy but Jade paid extra to ensure we had the best experience and really catered to my dad making this a memorable experience that we both will never forget.
