Pistolette bread
Madison M.

My coworker and I had a work event and stopped here after some local recommendation, and the food was so good, but the service was on a whole different level! We had a flat tire and didn't know what to do, and the owner and his son came to our rescue and took the screw out of our tire, patched us up, and refilled the tire. The workers were so friendly, and gave us lots of great recommendations for food and dessert. We got shrimp poboys and the Pistolette bread. Leaving C'est Bon well fed and with peace of mind knowing I can continue on the rest of my drive safely!

Catfish poboy

What a gem! Needed to stop on a road trip and seeing as we were on the road a little later than usual, missed our normal stops. Did a quick search and found this place a little off the beaten path. Hands down the BEST crawfish etouffee I have had when eating out! They package the rice and etoufee separate which is so appreciated!!! And it was seasoned to perfection and no skimping on the meat. The catfish poboy was DELICIOUS!!! The bread is different than typical po-boy bread. It is somewhere between a Mexican torta and a hotdog bun. It was fresh and maybe house made. The catfish is battered, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The slices are thick and succulent. Everything is served hot and fresh. I've already been back and plan to go again. It adds a few minutes to an already long drive but is completely worth it!

Some Great Catfish & Etoufee!

Multiple trips, and all were Great! A Local come as you are spacious restaurant with Zydeco Music to enjoy while feasting!

Those stars are all based off the food because I've had better service at the DMV. Six of us stopped by for lunch specifically for crawfish but they don't boil until 5 pm. I substituted the crawfish for a shrimp poboy and it did not disappoint- HUGE fried shrimp took over the sandwich. I also nibbled someones crawfish etoufee which was so flavorful and tasty. The place was clean, so were the bathrooms. There is a separate bar off of the dinning room that seems like it would be lively at night. This roadside stop is a must for my Arizona relatives when visiting family in Welsh, now I see why. Can't wait to try the boiled crawfish!

You're gonna have to get off the Interstate to find this great little local restaurant, but it's well worth the effort. I've been eating there for fifteen years or so and never had a bad meal. Crowded at lunch time is about the worst thing you can say about it, which constitutes a good review if you think about it a little. Local people eat here, because the food is good, that's for sure. Places with bad food don't last long in Acadiana. Lunch specials are always worth a look and they have all the usual south Louisiana food like gumbo, shrimp, everything. Don't think twice, just go!

I have traveled all over Louisiana, this is by far, my favorite place for crawfish and boiled seafood

As I have traveled around Louisiana, this is my favorite place for crawfish and boiled seafood. No Doubt!

Food was amazing, nice quiet restaurant on HWY 90. Salad was fresh and light. Took the team for lunch they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Girlfriend had the king crab and dungeness crab which were good. The shrimp was a little bit too spicy but overall good restaurant.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Very disappointed after reading reviews. Lettuce old, bread from grocery store.
