Was excited to try this place after reading the reviews but was very disappointed. Ordered boiled shrimp, sausage, boudin and potatoes/corn. After I paid I was informed that there was no sausage or boudin but was offer more potato's and corn. Further, the location had two beer signs in the window and didn't serve beer? I gave two stars because the boiled shrimp was good but I def understood why I was the only one in the entire place. read more

The best crawfish spot! We were passing through town and needed the crawfish fix. Iykyk! Well this spot did it for us. We of course ordered crawfish and shrimp for the kids mostly. The flavor was great! More than just the powdered seasoning, you could tell the boil was seasoned properly. It was late March when we came through and we had a few too many small crawfish but not worth complaining about. Also, they had no boudin which was disappointing but again, we came for the crawfish! So we originally drove down to go back to another spot we love in Broussard but apparently they did a 360. Off to yelp we went to find a crawfish spot nearby with dine in seating. I found this spot with high reviews. Simple choices here, how many lbs of seafood do you want, what spice level, and would you like any add ons (sausage, dip). The crawfish were nice size even at this time of the season. We got medium and hot and it's really the level on the seasoning on the shell for ppl who like their crawfish heavily seasoned in the water. While I wish they were more juicy they still hit the spot. Came to the crawfish spot while in town for work as crawfish season is my favorite season. Nothing special about the decor but it's perfect for crawfish enthusiasts like myself. Plenty of parking as well. Kept it simple and ordered crawfish dip as well as some boiled crawfish with a level above mild seasoning. That dip was on of the best things I've ever put in my mouth, i could've ate that alone. The crawfish were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Now the seasoning wasn't hot per say but after a few pounds it was burning me up from the inside. Nonetheless the crawfish was good as I revisited the next day for all you can eat crawfish and at about 8-9lbs before tapping out, this time with mild seasoning. Service was pretty good. They were informative of the menu and regularly checked with us. 2nd day there was a bit of a struggle as they were training someone but nothing bad things just took a little longer. We happened up on this spot accidentally. I put the wrong address in my Uber app but everything happens for a reason and this place was GREAT!! We were in Lafayette for Spring Break and my youngest had been waiting for "Louisiana Crawfish" all week. It is hidden in a shopping strip, behind a Whataburger. If you are in town, go check it out! We were in town for 5 days visiting from NW Arkansas. We started looking for a place to get some mudbugs and many places were already getting ready to close. We finally Found the Crawfish Spot the first night and brought 5 pounds home. What a treat. We ordered the spicy. Nice fresh large crawfish and for us Arkansas boys, they weren't too hot, just enough to make your lips kind of burn. And the price was Just right. They were so good, we gave up looking for a differant place and for every night afterward we went back to the Crawfish spot to get another 5 pound snack to take back to our place. This was my first experience here, but will not be my last. I love seafood and love finding spots, when on the go. I order shrimp and boudin. The shrimp were perfect! They were juicy and very flavorful. The boudin was also very delicious. The timing was below the expected wait time! The staff were very friendly and establishment very clean! She gave me one, showed me how to peal it. I tried it....I am HOOKED! I ordered 5 pounds. Ate every last one! They were so nice, never pressured me to leave (as they closed at 9, and I'm not fast at pealing those suckers!!) It was a top 50 meal in my 50+ years in life! The only bad part is? We came to town for a concert and we were looking for some good boiled seafood. This place was great. The employee that took our order was very polite and helpful. We ordered a snow crab combo and a snow and Dungeness combo. We decided to order the medium spice level based on the heat levels explained by the employee and it was perfect. The seafood is cooked in seasoning and it was perfect. The crab didn't have that fishy flavor at all, the crab and 1/2lb of shrimp were delicious. The only thing I wish was that the potato and corn were cooked in the seasoning as well, they didn't have any flavor. I will be stopping here any time I take a trip to lafayette. read more

Food: -3 lbs of Medium crawfish with 1 corn, 1 potato and mushrooms (3.5/5): So let me start off by saying I'm kind of biased because I'm obsessed with Garlic butter style crawfish, probably because I'm asian honestly and truly it adds more flavor. But the Cajun style isn't as bad just sometimes it's overly salty and ruins the taste of crawfish. In my opinion, the Cajun style here wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. It took about 30 minutes for our crawfish to come out and when it did come out I didn't know that the corn and potato was going to be plain. They didn't toss the corn or potato in the batch so it didn't have any flavoring! Womp womp. The medium was not overbearing and it had a mini kick to it if you like to eat the heads, but if you don't then I would suggest getting spicy. The mushrooms were amazing!!!! I loved them!
