We've been taking our standard poodles (and little dog) here for 15+ years and, up until recently, every experience was amazing. Absolutely love Brittney and would give her a 5 star review if it were only her I was reviewing! I can't recall the name of the other groomer that we've had a bunch, but she's great too. However, the last couple experiences have been stressful for myself and most importantly, both my dogs. They never used to have a problem going and now they both shake the moment they see the building. The woman I spoke with, to give a rundown of our senior boy, continually cut me off as I'm trying to explain his injuries anxiety, and the ways they can try to make the grooming as least traumatizing as possible. I left feeling like I was not heard and worried for my pups. It was no better when I picked them up- cut me off multiple times before I could finish my sentences. It's been a good run, but I'll be looking for a new dog groomer. The grooming itself is still great but I won't deal with the poor customer service. read more

This place should be ashamed of itself. I took my dog here six months ago and it was okay, they said he was very good and we decided to take him somewhere else a few months later. Needless to say, the other groomer we chose was horrible. So, here we are back at the Grooming Station. Well, they said our appointment was on Tuesday, we drive 30 minutes to get there and they say, "oh no, its Thursday." There are no dogs there and no appointments and they insist they can't do it that day. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will not be going back. These people need a lesson in 1.) treating pets and customers with courtesy and 2.) not being lazy. I'll go spend my money elsewhere. read more

Very stressful environment-Dogs in kennels in the entryway Staff are impatient-Pushed my dog into a kennel, grabbed my dog before he could get aquainted with the technician Poor Quality job-Cut one of my dog's toenails too short so it bled, Only cut 3/4 feet of my other dog Do not like to take credit cards-Tried to make me pay cash or check and scowled when I handed her my card I would not recommend this business to pet owners. I was nearly in tears after leaving from a simple nail trim. My pets are important to me and this place did not stand up to the quality or caring that I expected from them. read more

Awful! I brought my kitty here to get shaved 2 times. The lady who answers the phone is rude as can be. The first time I brought my kitty she came back with a couple nicks and a huge gash under her front leg. I understand the pet is squirming and cuts may happen, but the owner should be informed so they can monitor them for infection, nobody told me, I found the cut at home when she yelped in pain when I touched it. I went back a second time because there are few places who groom kitties and I accidentaly forgot her collar there. My name and phone number are on the collar but nobody bothered to call and let me know it was there. I had to call when I realized it 2 days later and she told me they had it there. Then this evening I decided to give them one last time because its tough to find cat groomers, and the hours listed online stated they were open until 8pm, but when I got my poor kitty there at 6:10, the doors were locked and there was nobody there. To start, I will say I have never written a negative review of a company, especially that of a small business. I believe in supporting local businesses. However, my experience with the Grooming Station was awful enough that I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment I dropped my dog off, they were rude and unwelcoming. After I dropped my dog off, I called my husband and told him how rude they were. He heard the details and said, "I guess we won't be going back there." About 20 minutes later, I received a phone call to pick him up. Apparently they had tried to lift my 175 lb dog into a tub and he became scared and upset. They blamed him, which I find ridiculous, as most giant breed dogs would resist 4-5 people awkwardly grabbing them to lift them up, not knowing what was going on. Add the rude tone in which they addressed him, which likely served to upset him further. As I walked in to get him, he saw me and barked. One groomer looked over at him and shouted, "shut up!" Because dogs never bark seeing their owners, right? Especially when scared. He ran out and straight to the car to escape. read more

I have been taking my two 120# dogs there for a number of years now. Buffy, Paige and the crew are fantastic. My two dogs/kids are always excited to see them, they go in very hairy, and when we pick them up they are clean, very soft, fluffy and prance around like they are king and queen of the land. love, love, love them very caring, and awesome customer service.
