We brought our Wheaton Terrier in for grooming. He's an older dog and we let them know this when we scheduled the appointment. Also I spoke with the groomer on the phone when my husband dropped off the dogs about expectations and how he should be groomed with a Wheaton cut, less the fall over his eyes. We brush and groom him regularly and he had no mats when he was dropped off. He wasn't cut, but shaved down, in fact to the skins in many spots. They said for ease of grooming and to make him more comfortable. However they said he did great and was able to stand for his entire appointment, so I'm unsure why this was done to him. It will take at least 4 months for his fur to grow out where we can get him back in shape. They won't refund our money. I had a check written out when my husband picked him up, they won't even return our tip. Also when we picked up the dogs the groomer was smoking cigarettes beside the store. All around a horrible experience. Avoid this shop at all costs. read more

My poor Emmers! She was looking like quite the mutt recently. We had just moved from Scottsdale, AZ in November and life was definitely hectic. Settling in. The holidays. Waiting for our UHaul pods to arrive. Trying to catch up on Revenge on Netflix... Frankly, my budget was tight and I was more focused on cute winter clothes for me than a good grooming for my best buddy. Looking back, I think they were a few times a caught her doing that "dog stare" (dog owners know this stare)...I'm sure she was thinking "Look bitch! You got your Guess pea coat and your smart little snow boots! What about me?!? All the neighbor dogs are giving me the stink eye!" Sort of like a Gary Larson Far Side cartoon. My sister recommended All 4 Dogs and I'm so glad she did. Staff was great! Facilities were super clean. Priced at $53 I thought it was a little high (throw on a well deserved $10 tip and it comes to $63..."guess I won't be getting me that cashmere scarf I had my I on..." Oh well. She is my best buddy after all. She looked and felt worthy of an entry into the Westminster Dog Show! Her little nubby tail wagging back and forth! Brought my dog in for a haircut. Instead she was shaved, leaving a bleeding gash in her arm pit and bald areas on her chest. Instead of acknowledging what they did, they blamed us for poorly taking care of her. Horrible experience. I don't recommend this place. They remove bad reviews from their website. read more

In looking for a groomer I look for a place that is welcoming with staff who truly love animals and are kind and patient taking care of them. If that is what you are looking for don't take your dog here. Kind and patient are not words I would use to describe her groomer who was cold and rude. Groomer didn't finish my dog and treated me poorly when I came to pick her up and still charged full price. I let the manager know how we were treated and she did nothing to help. I feel bad I took my dog here and after the way I was treated I can only imagine how they treated my dog. If you're looking for a good groomer this isn't the place. Becky read more

The BEST groomers around!! My pup is a typical Sheltie - nervous and skittish around new people and in stressful situations - but everybody at All 4 Dogs is so patient and sweet with her. Not only are they gentle and kind to the pets, they do a fantastic job bathing her, combing through all her fur and getting her trimmed up. I took my two older dogs over today for grooming. One is 15 years of age and 85 pounds the other is 11 years of age and 90 pounds. I was worried about getting the dogs on grooming table but she assured me they would be fine because the tub they bath them in goes to the floor and raises them. They called after hour and a half and said they were done. My 11 year old dog did fine but the 15 year old became very nervous and with her age she emptied and emptied her bowels. But instead of being upset or short with dog she said she "just reassured her she was all right and comforted her " This dog is a rescue dog that went through such horrific injustices at the hands of humans that I can not tell you how relieved I was at the compassion the groomers were to her. I have brought my Shi Tzu here about 4-5 times over a 5 year period. Reason I don't come more often is they charge more than any other groomer so I expect the service to be top notch when I do bring him. Last time, about 12 days ago, I took him in and mentioned about his ears being touchy, that water getting in can cause infections. I asked for 1/2 inch length left all over, gave directions about the front face, paws and length of ears etc. The lady doing the groom had never worked with him before, but since I had not yet had a bad experience, gave the benefit of the doubt. About the time to pick him up, I was called and told he had an ear infection and didn't cooperate very well. When I got there, she wanted me to pay even more than I ever paid before sight unseen. When I asked about the charges, she said he weighed more than their other dogs -same type. Then I had to ask to see him which has never been done this way anywhere else. My dog has weighed the same for 4 years and he is not fat. He is a larger type of Shi Tzu and was there before at the same weight. Although I wasn't exactly thrilled with his cut, and being a hairdresser myself, I figured I could even out a few areas later at home. But they had a neckerchief on him, which rather hid some longer hair under his chin. So a week later I call back explaining how I was disappointed by the legs, neck and ears not being cut right. I did thank the manager for letting me know he had the ear issue, but that the new lady did not do a great job for the money. She defended her employee, which was fine, but don't you think that if they wanted my business, she could invite me back for a quick clean up due the to high cost of a poorly cut puppy? I can only afford to get him clipped 4 times a year, so it needs to last. Then she was talking to someone else, walked away from the phone and never came back. How convenient! So I'm hanging there waiting, finally hung up. No call back. I had good service in the past by groomers that aren't working there any more, but bad customer service from MGMT. So I won't be back. For $65 on a small dog, that's enough of an incentive to go elsewhere. read more
