We were able to get a next-day appointment for my dog and I was nervous dropping her off because this was her first time at a groomer. But I read the other reviews, checked out their website, and I was reassured by the atmosphere and staff. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of care your dog receives and for the natural products they use (cruelty-free, biodegradable, free of dyes, made in the USA). I love how cutesy their colors and services are - we opted for the "Fragile Fox" package which included lavender and chamomile shampoo, deep conditioner, paw balm, and finishing spray. You MUST to take your dog to get FOXY! Oh my, I don't even know where to start... Liana and Kara at Foxy Dogs are amazing. We are in Minnapolis, swinging through as a part of an epic roadtrip to visit some family, and Gus was in desperate need of a hair and nail trim, so we gave Foxy Dogs a call. Amazingly, they worked with us to squeeze Gus in with next to no notice. A great start to this 'Tail'. The place looks great. It is amazingly clean, and decorated perfectly. They have some great treats, and even Bow Ties for sale to make your little special snowflake look tip-top. We are very particular about how Gus is treated, and I think they could tell, so Liana gave us a quick tour. What a fantastic setup. We even got to meet their dogs, Salvador and Yoshi. They were so friendly and cute, and even had their picture up on the wall. Liana walked us through all their fantastic packages, and we decided to let Gus be a "Sly Fox" today, which came with nail filing, upgraded shampoo, teeth brushing, breath spray, and even foot balm. I felt like #SnoopDog when they even offered Doggie Cologne! Completely relaxed and comfortable letting Gus hang here for a while, as I can tell he will be treated just fine. A few hours, we rolled in to see how Gus was shaping up, and, he did NOT want to leave. He looked AMAZING, and sooooo relaxed. Liana did a perfect job. She said she even cleaned his ears and his ucky booty glands. So perfect. All this, and it was a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend Foxy Dogs enough. She was at another location in Hopkins for a long time and we made the 30 minute drive (a total of two hours travel/visit) for many years just to have her groom our dogs. I started out my dog-owning life with a low maintenance Lab. When we got an adorable fluffy mongrel from the Humane Society who looked like a lost hobo, we realized we'd have to find a dog groomer. Having no experience, we bounced around from groomer to groomer over the past two years, with decent but not amazing results. A place that gets our dogs' vet records beforehand...yep, more than impressed with the initial treatment and care. We've got one ole Pittie mix who needs a li'l TLC with her sensitive ears and butt gland (yuck!), and one pre-teen Pittie mix that defines hyperactive and 'athletic' who's a beeetch about getting her paws touched. This place rocked with taking care of all of our girls' needs individually! Genny's ears were dry, with no fear of getting infected afterwards due to the use of cotton balls to keep bath water out of them. Bonus - she wasn't licking at her butt like she did after some other past spa appointments too...because she was all taken care of with Foxy Dogs :) And Kylie was a happy-wagging-tail girl after she got her nails trimmed--a testament to how fab this crew is with skittish dogs of all sizes and temperament. Liana has a wonderful calm demeanor and took time to chat with me about my puppy before taking her into the shop.
