Burgers were really good and the classic rock/pop music on the sound system was even better.

The toast itself was eggy and fluffy and soaks up the right amount of butter. 10/10 disregarding the amount of calories I probably confused, but worth every bite. The tea (peach oolong)was good too, exactly as you'd expected, doesn't taste artificial and the peach was present but not overwhelming. Nice presentation.

My dad and I came here for my birthday brunch, and I requested Tiffany as our server upon arrival. She seated us right next to the outdoor patio, where we placed our order on the iPad. Drink Rose Lychee Refresher (30% Sugar & Less Ice) Tiffany recommended this drink, so I decided to try it. Mmm, refreshingly delicious. Rice Bowls Salmon Ochazuke Rice The salmon was bland, but the skin was crispy. I skipped the green tea broth because I couldn't consume caffeine. My dad said the broth was too spicy because it had way too much black pepper. He was disappointed with his salmon rice bowl. Burgers Kimcheese Chicken Sandwich When I said "omgosh," I really meant it! The spicy chicken sandwich had so much flavor in every bite. My dad doesn't eat spicy food, so he ended up eating all my fries. But that spicy chicken sandwich was hands down my favorite! Thank you, Tiffany, for providing such amazing service to us! It had an oddly fishy taste when it should've been rich and buttery. It also lacked proper seasoning, so we ended up sending it back. For the entree, we ordered the dry aged porterhouse, priced at nearly $200. We asked for medium, but it came out well done, which was a letdown. The chimichurri didn't taste authentic, and while the signature steak sauce was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. We also ordered a side of bacon, which was decent but I've had better. The chili prawn noodles were another miss. It came with only four shrimp, wasn't spicy at all, and used spaghetti noodles, which felt off for the dish. The only real highlights were the creamed spinach and shishito peppers. Those were solid and you just can't go wrong with it. At best, I'd recommend coming here for the cocktails and the view. The food alone doesn't justify it. I added an extra star strictly because of the service. Shirley was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great wine recommendations. Very accommodating and genuinely pleasant, which made the experience better overall.

We asked about happy hour since Instagram said they had it, but turns out it's not a thing anymore. They owned the miscommunication and took care of us, offering $8 wine, discounts on a couple appetizers, and even a complimentary extra glass of wine to make it up. We ordered a few things off the tapas menu. The popcorn chicken, the octopus, uni and foie gras, short ribs, and beef tacos. The short ribs leaned a bit dry, but everything else was on point. Standout by far was the uni and foie gras. A little pricey for 4 pieces but very delicious. Big shoutout to the 2 staff on site, very friendly, warm and responsive throughout. I would recommend Tavern 157 if you're in the area looking for something casual with good drinks and food and not in the mood for Korean food. Just double-check happy hour before you go, as they mentioned a new one may be coming. Overall, a really enjoyable first visit.

I had family visiting so we came here for breakfast on a Sunday. Man I was pleasantly surprised! I had the American breakfast which had eggs, toast, hash browns and your choice of meat, I had bacon. Eggs over medium were perfect, bacon was super crispy as I requested and the hash browns were amazingly fried! Service was also quite good. They even gave a bit of extra food for my babies. Surprising thing is nothing was scooped from the buffet, you can tell it was made fresh. Definitely a step up from your typical hotel restaurant breakfast and better than most diners. The service was amazing, very attentive, and everything was clean. The food was pretty good, but there were some dishes I liked more than others. Ordering the boiled chicken slices as an app was the wrong move. It tasted okay, as good as it sounds, but I don't think it was the best app option. The pork belly in mashed garlic was good, but I wish the cucumbers had been more chilled and fresh. I liked Uluh's version of this dish more. Next time I would try the boiled chicken in chili sauce or the crispy fish. The flavor and texture of the braised pork belly were amazing. The pork was tender and fatty. The prawns were fantastic and very garlicky, just how we like it! The rice was pretty good and actually had a decent amount of seafood, but I found the shrimp to be the same quality you would get from a takeout Chinese restaurant. The rice was also on the more steamed side, less on the dry side. All in all, I thought the food was decent, but the service was amazing and the vibes were also a plus.
