A classic sandwich shop. Although they decor is dated, everywhere you sit or walk is very clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I was particularly impressed with the kitchen cleanliness, as I stared behind the counter it was impressive. The grill, the fryer, the cook, stove, and the floor again, all very clean. Our food was delicious. It arrived quickly and exceeded our expectation. Chelsea did an exceptional job of taking care of us, she was attentive and friendly, which made our time there even more enjoyable. I personally enjoyed hearing laughter coming from the kitchen area, the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy being together and at work.... it was odd to see a child brought in through the drive of window, he spent a few minutes saying hi to everyone and then back through the drive up window to be driven away. It was just weird not wrong or unsanitary ..I guess it kind of added to the casual Family atmosphere. read more

Originally we went through the drive thru (beware: overhead clearance isn't for lifted trucks!) but decided to go inside and order to-go since we all needed to use the restroom anyway. The restroom is located in the back, through the kitchen just follow the signs. The employee taking our order was very friendly and our food arrived fresh from the grille as their name states! Can't say enough about the Outstanding service!! They also had a broad menu and a very clean restaurant. All our diners enjoyed their burgers and I especially liked my chicken strips. The food was fast and freaking delicious! We had the green chili burger and smash tacos which are essentially a burger patty smashed on the grill with a tortilla and topped with lettuce and jalapeño and guacamole- so good. They also had a great coffee and tea menu and we tried "the Johanna" because that's my name and it was really good. Like a white hot chocolate with espresso. Stopped in after passing this tiny, jumpin' joint, a million times. From the moment you walk into the cozy diner, the employees make you feel like you're eating at their home. They take Texas-sized pride in what they are doing here. Their breakfast omelettes, pancakes and the house specialty, The Slopper, were all tasty as was the coffee. The drive-thru was busy with coffee drinks, sandwiches and carryout orders flowing from the tiny, efficient kitchen. Try this sleeper place for breakfast, lunch (burgers looked amazing with crinkle cut fries), or dinner. This community supports this place...great to see! It's a cozy little diner with the best waitresses and the food is banging! Their menu is extensive and they have a coffee menu that rivals any coffee shop!! We had a wonderful experience at The Grill while traveling through on our way to Colorado. We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed friendly service and delicious food. Our son has an egg allergy and I had to ask them several questions to which they were very helpful about finding the answer. We enjoyed delicious food without food issues and we loved the small town feeling of the restaurant. To top it off, some sweet stranger ended up buying our meal. So thank you Grill patron. The service was great. The lady that took our order was very professional. This place is a sit down with table service. Our order was taken quickly and the food was delivered soon. We both got burgers. Mine one without bun and with green chili small side salad. My wife got a burger dressed the way she likes. Big plus, the burgers are hand made. Not the thin presses ones you get at the chain, nice thick hand made one. Everything tasted great. This is a small place, has been here for many years. Driving through town so thought we would stop by. It looks like an old Dairy Queen from the 1960s that's been converted so a very quaint atmosphere. The chicken fingers were excellent, soft and tender. Fries and onion rings were about as good as you can get. The hamburger was OK but was a little overcooked. The service was very good. Overall, I would stop there again, but would pass on the hamburger for something else. read more

What a great find foodies! Driving back from Colorado we found this quaint little restaurant with every booth filled with locals so we sat at the counter. It was the BEST decision ever! If you want to see 'work flow' come here. Drive thru, counter, restaurant were hoppin and so were the ladies running the food show. I cannot recall a better burger. The meat was char-grilled, buns were toasted, veggies were fresh. The taste was absolutely delish. Fries were cooked perfectly and slightly crunchy on the outside. YUM! I didn't want to leave. The commaderie was fun, we visited with the owners and other folks. I felt welcome there. So did the patrons in the restaurant area, locals, mostly, and friendly too. There's malts, milk shakes, pies for dessert. YASSSI had the chocolate malt because... I'm from out of town. lol Get off the highway. Take a break. They'll serve you Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner.
