I fell in love with this little store at first sight. Their whimsical lines of clothing are perfect for a day at the beach, summer cocktail parties or even outdoor carnivals. Every garment has a fun twist on normal. I ended up finding not only one but two super cute shirts right before I went on vacation and I wore them for my entire trip. I like to buy wearable clothes, not couture that stays in your closet, but the items that are always in the hamper. The prices are pretty modest, but some of the items are not too well made either. One of the shirts that I bought 3 weeks ago is missing two of it's buttons and has a small hole already. Granted I wore it about 5 times in the 4 weeks that I have owned it, but if you really love something at LOLO buy two! LOLO is a fun store where you will find clothing that you will wear.

It's not easy talking to a male associate about women's clothing questions but he must have handled other similar situations as he knew right away what I was speaking about. I have never had one of their associates give me solutions/options when I didn't there would be any. It's a smaller location but Mason took the time to find items that happened to be in the back. It's street parking so it can be tricky during peak hours (such as lunch time today). I'd return just for the service as they went above and beyond today.

The owners and staff are friendly and I learned that the candles are made locally and there are no chemicals. For other gifts, I've bought the olive oil, heart-shaped soaps. Good price at $10.00-They will gift wrap for you too--the horoscope magnets make humorous gifts too. I'm a local but I find this store one of my favorites in downtown Encinitas. I pride myself in customer service and proper etiquette when dealing with the general public. I have now been in this store 3 times today being 12/8/22 approx. 2 pm. I have been greeted poorly every.single.time. The first 2 times I don't think the woman working even acknowledged I had walked in and today the sales associate gave a underwhelming hello and didn't ask if "I was looking for anything in particular?" "Can I help you find a Christmas gift?" "Let me know if you have any questions at all, I am here for anything you may need" and there was nothing as I left the store either "Thanks so much for coming in" "Have a great day!" Are just a few things you can say when you work in retail. If this wasn't the 3rd visit with the same treatment I wouldn't be leaving a review this thorough but I really felt the owner needs to know. They do have really cute items for purchase in there but the staff is rude and seems to maybe only cater to customers who have a certain look to them? Just a guess. Do better in the customer service department and you'd make more sales!
