My friend took me here when I was visiting They carry fun pieces for different styles, shapes, and sizes, and the store has a playful, welcoming feel. Kat is truly the standout here. She is stylish, friendly, and has a great eye for fashion. She helped me find pieces that suited me, and I really appreciated her styling guidance. She is the real gem of the shop. That said, while you can find some great and unique items, I personally felt the prices were a bit high for the quality, fabrics, and cuts. The selection isn't very large, and the owner rubbed me the wrong way. It didn't take away from Kat's help, but it did affect the overall experience. I would still recommend stopping in if you want to find a cute piece and don't have a lot of time to shop around. I love the clothing and the exceptional service. Kat has an eye for fashion and will honestly tell what looks flattering and what does not. The costumer service is why I keep coming back. Kat has shown me items I absolutely love. The staff follows to be at your beck and call. I feel like a celebrity shopping with my own personal stylist. I don't wear fur so I just don't buy the fur. There is a huge selection of other items. I get that not everything is designed for everyone but there is no need to make hurtful remarks about someone's appearance. So the store is not your style and you don't like excellent costumer service when you also complain that there is zero customer service at the stores you regularly shop at ??? This maybe not for you. And how do you know she was trying to be helpful when I clearly remember that she was following me and not saying anything while doing so. That's why I found it uncomfortable. Stopped in here after having dinner next door. This place has really cute clothes! Very sexy, lots of fur and a nice variety of everything. Why 1 star? The lady working made me feel extremely uncomfortable. We walked in and she asked multiple times if we're looking for anything in particular or if we have any questions then just ask. That's nice and all but she was extremely pushy. After telling her multiple times that I'm just looking, her eyes would not leave me. She was staring at me the entire time I was in there, like as if she thought I was going to steal something. Really dissopointing because I really thought their clothes were very cute. I wanted to try on a fur jacket I saw; but since she was constantly watching me like a hawk I just felt really uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there. I was in full pack mule mode, laden with the days very heavy haul, and DONE shopping when I came across Ooh La La and the incredibly darling pieces in the storefront. although my feet were killing me, I desperately needed water, and my cards were basically smoldering from use, I HAD to go in. It's packed with every thing you have conjured up in your mind but could never find or if you have it was the less than version made from synthetic fabrics that have a fire warning. I LOVE THIS STORE. The first person I encountered was so personable I didn't understand when she offered to take my many bags. I was initially slightly offended because I thought it was a shoplifting issue when in fact she was trying to lighten my load! I greatly appreciated it. More than an hour later I walked out with several new pieces including a leather jacket that I had to have even in 97 degrees! read more

I love this little store. It's my favorite place to shop. Stephanie and Kat are always there to help you find things that will look cute on you, get extra sizes to try on if they have them. Everything is so unique, they have a Paris line that is pricey, but they have plenty of other stuff that is not and one of a kind pieces. I took my mom here when she was in town and she loved it too. I have been shopping here for over 2 years and never had a bad experience. I have to disagree with the negative posts on here and say from my experience, this is a great place to shop. read more

DISGUSTING FULL OF FUR! Hard to believe there is still pond scum out there who wear fur. Pushy too much plastic surgery woman pounces on you as you come in. How the hell do you know what you want until you`ve had a look!! Once i saw a blue fur coat made out of rabbits, we were out of there. My friend saw a dress that was marked $700 for some flimsy thing made in china!!! Just like a couple of other stores down there its all the same old, same old, except other stores aren`t selling anally electrocuted animal skins. I hope she goes bankrupt as soon as possible. Her "come in" $40 rail outside full of cheap chinese silk that can be purchased wholesale for $8 an item had tags on them saying "Made in Italy", Yes, so was my dog. I stopped here on the shop local event Yelp had for North County. This is very much a boutique store, and very pricey. They had a whole front table display with all this overpriced sparkley stuff - rhinestones glued on to things do not make them worth more! Cute, unique clothes, but limited sizes available... bla. As the saying goes, "Buyer Beware" and with that said, be careful of the sales person here who tells you "dont't worry, you can exchange your purchase and get a FULL refund, send it back and don't worry"! Well, I will tell you this is NOT TRUE and the manager of the store who claims to be in business for many years has no idea about what customer service is. The manager whom I spoke with and sales person I worked with are as phoney as a $3.00 bill. So, "Buyer Beware" stay away from this store and shop elsewhere as there are other great shops with HONEST people and would be glad to do business with you. I was window shopping today with a friend and saw some sunglasses that caught my eye. Came in tried them on, lady who I assume is the owner with the pixie haircut said they looked great on me. Ok cute. She was really pushy but we assumed she was just trying to make sales (which would be easier if everything wasn't so overpriced). When it came time to check out she said her tap to pay wasn't working and took my card and squatted behind the counter attempting to "fix the register" or I assume. But I found it so alarming she took my card and I could not see what she was doing! I asked her for my card back and said oh I'm just going to manually enter it on the register". I said ok and watched her do this AND text me a receipt. But the whole exchange was so suspicious. I have now called my bank for a replacement card because I have no idea if she took a picture of my card or rang it up for something behind the counter. Really really weird that I had to ask her to give me my card back. read more

I went into Ooh La La with my girlfriend on 10/14/20. I purchased jeans and a top for her. She told the owner that she didn't want me to buy them but the owner pushed the sale. I returned them on 10/18/20 and was told (for the first time) they do not accept returns. This was NEVER disclosed to me before the sale in any way and I would not have purchased the items if it was. I am now forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Stephanie has refused to credit my card to date. VERY UNETHICAL!!! read more

I love shopping at Ooh La La! They have both high-end and less expensive items! I always find something when I go...whether it's a dressy dress for a special occasion or a pair of denim shorts and a plaid shirt! The girls here are very helpful, they have a lot of merchandise so it helps to have someone who knows where to look for what you need! I drive up to Carlsbad regularly to see what's new! Stopped in here and was so happy to have finally have found a boutique store where the clothes were not all cheap. With that being said, you are going to have to pay for higher quality and uniqueness. Disappointed to see people complain about when you actually get service at a boutique shop. That is what the staff is paid to do- give service and up-sell, it may seem pushy but it's not the intent. I love the experience of trying new things and allowing the staff to help you will show you new trends and styles you may not usually try. Why only 4 stars? Horrible experience! VERY OVERPRICED and VERY PUSHY SALES LADIES. A lot of high pressure sales with the clerk and manager running after you saying how every little item would look great on you. Many of the items in this store you can find at other boutiques for less....this means they are looking for suckers to buy! On top of all that... GOSSIP from the sales girl and the owner/manager!This is a huge no, no to me. Maybe they thought I couldn't hear but the minute the customer left they are talking trash...and she bought a ton of stuff! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Just keep your opinions to yourself. They have some cute stuff in this store. Slightly pricy but not too bad. But DO NOT GO HERE! The lady who works here will not leave you alone and is extremely pushy. I mean shoving stuff into your hands and trying to force you to try things on. Even after I told her I just wanted to look and would let her know if I needed anything she wouldn't stop.
