I'll just say this -- it's a solid 3.5 stars (couldn't do a half off on the stars so *shrug*), if you want good reviews from ALL tenants including those moving out, make sure that shit is smooth sailing from start to finish. I've lived here for three years, and it's truly been an amazing experience. The amenities are so extensive that you hardly think about renting elsewhere, everything you need is right here, and it really enhances everyday living. Brian, Hal and Kali are exceptional, professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in the residents. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and part of a true community. The entire management team is outstanding and consistently maintains a high standard. The maintenance and cleaning staff are also amazing. They are present every day, very visible, and do a fantastic job keeping the property looking beautiful and running smoothly. Not too long ago I renewed my lease here at the Grant. It is a great apartment complex located in downtown Concord, Ca. The apartments are only about 3 years old. They are modern and on a nice street close to BART. The Grant is close to everything you need within walking distance including Todos Santos Park. The amenities are amazing. I have two that are favorites. The gym is spacious with good equipment. The swimming pool is cleaned 12 months of the year and heated too! I love going up on a winter night for a swim carrying a heavy terrycloth robe for when I get out of the water. I know other swimmers appreciate it is open 12 months of the year. Talk about a healthy thing to do. As long as I am in Concord I will be making the Grant my home. The staff are amazing and always respond to requests almost immediately. It's especially remarkable since they deal with that 2% of the community that whine and complain a lot and deal with these folks in a professional manner. Of course, their reviews are here too. I suggest taking my review more seriously because I have lived here 16 month now and this review is not a reaction to not getting something done when I snapped my fingers. I have included some pictures. Oops a few duplicated. The rest of the property is just as nice. Oh, and I forgot to mention a couple things. There is a working area on the second floor (North Building) and EV chargers are currently in the installation process. The (South Building) has a good working space and watching sports area on the fourth floor. Book a tour and tell them Mike and Willie (my dog) sent you. The maintenance man, Jesus, was super fast and efficient with what we needed help with, and he was also very friendly and considerate about many things. We've been to many apartments and we haven't encountered a maintenance worker as professional. As you see by the property's anonymously posted response, it seems to me there isn't much interest in resolving anything. Vida Emami, the regional director, responded to me with conflicting information compared to what her community manager Brian Burnett stated about the parking gates. She assured me the issue was resolved whereas just yesterday Brian stated they were still trying for a permanent fix sometime next year. I guess we'll see if I have any issues trying to leave for work in the mornings. read more

My family and I moved into The Grant July 2024 and have loved every minute. The management cares to talk with us, knows us well, and listens to our needs. They are attentive to any trouble that may come up (hey this is life and there's difficulties with elevators sometimes!). The apartment is always cleaned so much I feel like I'm living in a resort. We love the facilities - we always use the clubhouse and the makers space (even the community room in the south building). They are always doing special events in the building - wine down wednesdays, paint & sips, poker nights, pool parties, etc - during Christmas they provided christmas cards, paper & tape for wrapping. The gym is great too and even have free instructor led classes. It's been a truly great experience and we love living in this COMMUNITY! read more

Had a great experience working with Janae, who made sure everything went smoothly and allowed for a smooth move-in process! Since I've moved in the community has been well kept, and Janae and other team members have been there to answer all my questions and guide me through the Grants luxurious way of living. Maintenance responds quickly and the apartment was built well, I haven't heard a stomp or creek or any noises from my neighbors. I have been here almost a year and so far I loved it. Chris was my guy and they move him in SF now they have Thai whose a replica or I would say a Junior Chris. Super nice guy... This apartment is the worst place you could choose to live. The cost of a one bedroom is around $3000.00, and management is disorganized, unreliable, and unhelpful. The front office shrugs their shoulders when something goes wrong and couldn't fix the problems here if they wanted to because Willowick Residential is not going to spend the money they should have in order to finish these two buildings. It's like having a sh*t landlord in NYC. They also opened this building well before it was completed, so the majority of the property is not covered by security cameras. I would estimate 90%, and that is no exaggeration. This allows ample opportunity for crime to be committed with how easy it has been to get into the building. If they try to argue this, they can explain to you how there are doors to the gardens that still do not have FOB scanners on them for re-entry, doors that have to be forcefully (ripped) opened because they were built poorly, and how the pipes in the ceilings burst within a couple months of occupancy. The front gate to the north building has been left open multiple times and car windows have been shattered and cars have been broken into more than once. They try to hide it but the glass is still visible on the garage floor if you know which parking spots to look in. On top of this, the bike "locker" has had multiple bikes and bike parts stolen from it. Maybe now that I've pointed out how the only reliable security at this property is the older gentleman that patrols the grounds at night, they'll stop costing everyone time and money and pay for security cameras and doors that don't get propped open because they're all missing FOB scanners. read more

I don't live here but attended a family event in their club room a few weeks ago. This place is AMAZING! I say this having lived at top WC communities in the past. It's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something upscale without having to pay as much as some of the other new ons in the area. I don't know if there is a price difference, but definitely try to get something in the building that has the rooftop pool. It's like resort living at home. read more

From the very first moment we met the staff here, we were welcomed with loving caring hearts and the kind of support that makes you feel you are at home, right where you need to be! My experience here so far has been great. The staff are awesome and makes you feel welcomed. This community makes you feel safe and comfortable.
