We then came to find out that squatters had changed the locks and were living in our unit, they found out the day we were supposed to move in. We were put into a different unit until they could get our unit cleaned from the squatters, as they didn't have any more of the size unit available and offered no other feasible options or deductions for the inconvenience. So lots of reasons for this low review, but we just moved out a week ago just received a bill for some pretty ridiculous move out charges, with little to no transparency or itemized invoices given per CA law. The letter stated the unit was left in good / ok condition however there are $700 in fees for cleaning, carpet cleaning and paint, which I find hard to believe is true based on the unit being left empty and in good condition. So overall pretty disappointing and shady. Seemingly just them trying to get more money out of us. Really hoping they will resolve this.

When our sink started leaking, Travis was actually injured, but he still made the time to come by, turn off the water to prevent further damage, and make sure another maintenance technician was scheduled to assist him to complete the faucet repair just a day or two later. That level of commitment and follow-through is something you don't see every day. Every time Travis comes by, he's incredibly kind, respectful, and professional. He always takes the time to explain what he's doing and why, which we really appreciate. He's knowledgeable, personable, and even brings a great sense of humor, making what could be a stressful situation feel easy and reassuring.
