Tour went great, applied for an apartment, after credit and background checks, they questioned accounts that were closed from debt consolidation due to the pandemic and denied us. My rental & mortgage history is flawless and have the income yet they wouldn't give us a chance. Now we wait for our deposit to come in the mail. I lived here for two years and I highly recommend living here. Management is great and they try their best to create a welcoming environment. Maintenance team is awesome. They will quickly and professionally fix anything. It is conveniently located next to a Lucky's Supermarket and In-Shape Gym. The apartment has a gym, but if you want a gym with sauna and basketball courts like I did you may want to join. The central air conditioning in the apartment is a big plus. read more

I have lived here for 4+ years, and honestly, I can say that Jason and Brenda are the best. Work orders get worked on right away, afterhour emergency get works done and amenities are excellent or brand new when I moved in. The price comparatively to other apartments is really good. The only bad thing I can say about this place is that the location is not near a freeway. Takes about 15 min to get to one. Overall, the place is very clean, the amenities are all good, the people are very nice and responsible, If I didn't have to move due to school for my kid I would probably still stayed with them. read more

Taking safety precautions! Landscape is gorgeous since I lived here about 11-12 years, its changed a-lot, in a great way. Management also changed, since I lived here, they are wonderful, i believe Jason & Catelyn (i might have her name wrong if i do, I apologize) I'm surprised there has been no reviews in such a long time. Also, I've seen a lot of comments regarding the washers, haaa it's the same everywhere you go, we as residents are the problem, we should learn how to use them! ‍ and then we wouldn't have any issues. There is large grass area for kids to play in. Beautiful pool area that is being opened soon trough appointment as well as the gym, trough appointment, for obvious reasons (covid) maintenance guys are great I recommend Arcadian for your next move. I like the apartments but there seems to be a problem with theft. im not sure if its the tenants or random people considering it is not gated. As of recently there has been 2 things taken from my porch. This is unacceptable and if it is a tenant stealing I hope you reap what you sow! read more

Arcadian apartments is not close to any laundry mat. Iv counted 10 washers and 2 dryers are currently broken. That is equivalent to half of the washers that are in the laundry room. How can an entire apartment complex only have 10 working washers for the WHOLE complex? It makes washing laundry basically impossible. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing roulette when I walk in there. read more

*UPDATE* unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave Arcadian early. They still went above and beyond and were very helpful during my move out process, despite me breaking my lease early. Both Lara and Brenda were magnificent and made an otherwise stressful experience easy and comfortable. I would love back to Arcadian in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, where I live now is nowhere near as incredible as Arcadian and I wish I still lived there! I gave them a 5 star review originally and I am keeping that 5 star review. *Original Review* I've lived here for about 2 months now and so far I don't have any complaints. I've had the pleasure of working with Lara since the very beginning of my rental process. Even after a million issues (on my end, not on Arcadian's end), Lara was able to work with me and ensure I was able to move into this awesome apartment. The community seems great, I love the location, and overall, have been very happy living here so far. P.S. - If anyone at Arcadian reads this, seriously, give Lara a raise! That woman has gone above and beyond since BEFORE I moved in to make my time here pleasant. She's amazing! read more

Management was friendly, professional and very clear on any communication. whenever I asked for any repairs or fixes they did it quickly withing a week. I have lived here for over 5 years now (man, time flies!) and the apartment management and maintenance staff are very responsive, on top of policies and procedures and take care of maintenance asap. The complex is beautiful with an immaculate landscaping and pretty birch and florals everywhere. It is a very family oriented complex and children are always on the grass playing. I have never had a problem with safety or security (although there have been reports of car break ins) but I personally have never experienced it. The manager Jason is very professional and fair and I love the staff Brenda and Lara who are very personable and lovely people. This place is a hidden gem. I selfishly don't want to review it because it is really great and I know it will drive prices up, but as I may be moving out of the area, I need to review as they deserve it! :) read more

We just moved out of there with the very bad final experience. After living there for more than 6 years and originally moved in apartments with old carpet, which was explained to us by previous management that we cannot be allowed to take apartment with the new carpet because we had a dog, which was company rules (which was OK with us), $500 from our original deposit was kept by manager for carpet replacement. Although we did walk through with assistant manager to check condition of the apartment and no problems were found, even received complements that our apartment was very clean compare to what she see usually and we should not worry about anything, -- few days later after we moved out manager of this apartment made a note on the papers we signed, carpet was in bad conditions with heavy stains and dog odor in every room (our dog was kept in the crate at all the time, because we have little baby and did not want him to be around her, when she is crawling on the floor, and definitely never allowed in the bedrooms). When I asked her why she decided to replace carpet at our expense, considering that it was pretty old with huge unmovable brown stain in the middle of the room, when we moved in, she said that she cannot find any notes about such condition of the carpet and that is why she has to judge as what she sees now (she came as a manager about few months after we moved into this ). Few other arguments was brought up, for example: " you never paid for your dog separately, it is not on the paper", "I do not why you paid extra $800 deposit, may be you had bad credit history". I have all the papers from the original management showing we had to pay $800 for keeping pet and $25 additional to our apartment payment for the pet monthly with later increase to $30. In general. From the beginning of this new manager doing her job we have experienced from time to time rudeness and insulting tone whenever we had a chance to meet ("How come you have a dog on the property? Do you know that you cannot keep such a big dog here?" -- did even try to look in our agreement with previous management, which suppose to be kept on record). The rude very badly hiding befind official language was probably professional manar to talk to a tenants to show them that they will not get away with any breaking of the rules. We never had such problems with previous management. I can also say that maintanance guys who were working there long period of time always did good job in a timely manner. Even the fact that apartments are being under huge remodeling for more than a year (with all the noise along with it), and some times taking more than 45 minutes getting to freeway in the morning, does not make this apartment such a bad place as current manager Michelle. I cannot recommend stronger to consider other options if you do not want have similar experience. read more

Arcadian Apartments in Concord are very clean and well managed by Jason and Brenda. The grounds are well kept and I love the location. You almost don't need a car for grocery shopping, doctor appointments, gym are all within walking distance. Most of the apartments I visited had no landscaping to speak of, but Arcadian for me is like living in a garden. I have lived here 3 years and if I need anything fixed, maintenance is right on top of it, usually within hours. I just hope the rent doesn't increase. read more

This place is the absolute worst apartment complex I have ever had the misfortune of living in. We have only been here one year and are moving again because we can NOT bare to stay in this god aweful place any longer. Nothing good has happened here. Where do I begin? Our very first bad experience started when the complex was having some renovations done to the grounds. They were have some concrete torn apart and re-laid. They used our covered parking spot for the left over concrete. Not once but TWICE after we complained about it. Usually it would not be an issue but we were not even asked if it was okay with us. We also had a problem with some people in the building smoking pot in their bathrooms which went through the vents and into everyone's homes. After us and the other 6 families complained about this to the management team they said they would take care of it and were in the process of evicting the residents because they had been warned numerous times and were not cooperating. Well that was about 5-6 months ago and they are still here and our apartment still smells like weed every night. There have been cops chasing kids through the complex on more than one occasion and one night I even came home to cops/ambulance/and fire blocking part of the parking lot because some kids were fighting and one pulled a gun. Our Harley Davidson was stolen in broad daylight from the same covered parking spot that the complex kept filling with trashed concrete. That was about 2 months ago. That was a complete cluster. The management said they were going to call us and never did about that. We never even got a notice saying that our lease was going to be up. They said they forgot to give it to us. This complex isn't that big it should not be that hard to keep track. Some of our friends moved into the same type of floor plan that we were and when we went over there to visit we noticed that have updated cabinetry, granite counters and new flooring. They were paying the same amount of rent as we were and our cabinets are literally pulling out of the wall, the refrigerator is broken and there are burn marks on the counters in the bathroom. And they were that was when we moved in! Lastly, the management team here SUCKS! No one knows anything and one of the girls is rude AND is extremely un-knowledgeable. The actual manager is a jerk. He basically laughed in our faces when we asked what the paint color is called because we are moving and like to leave the apartment in the same condition when we moved in. Said he had no idea and that he would call us and never has. THEY WILL NOT RETURN A PHONE CALL WHEN THEY SAY THEY DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All in all. TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT DO IT! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! There are nicer places for the same price trust me. I lived at Arcadian Apartments for 7 years. By far the best rental property that I have ever stayed at. The property manager Jason was my manager from day 1 along with the maintenance staff. The community is diverse, mixture of corporate professionals, retirees to families. It is also dog friendly but I believe only so many units allow dogs. The property is very well kept and Jason is constantly upgrading the units, facilities and the property in general. Recent upgrades, mailboxes, live plants, walkway lights, washer and dryers, led lights in parking lot and the list goes on. The neighbors are very friendly and for the most part you don't really see your neighbors. If there was ever an issue, the maintenance took care of it as soon as it was reported to the management office. It is close to Inshape gym although there is onsite gym and all the convenient stores, coffee...I recently moved a week ago because I moved to Oakland to be closer to work in SF and my family. We've been living in these apartments for over a year and love them! The apartments are nice and clean. The grounds are always well kept. Management is nice and helpful. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. Compared to the other apartment complexes in the area, this one is top notch. No pest problems or anything. My only complaints would be that the pool and hot tub are overly chlorinated, an the "gym" has no AC and is not open in the morning (doesn't open until 10am). Don't Even Consider Renting This Place!! They have the worst management. Where do I start. First off they will not care about cleanliness or neighbors who smoke inside their rooms. Their vents are all connected so you can smell everything from cigarette smoke to pungent cooking odors in all the other apartments. During pregnancy and afterwards with an infant we had to book hotel rooms at least 5 nights because we could not bear the second hand smoke coming into our apartment. We had sore throat the entire time we lived there. Filing a complaint will yield no results here. They have dog and kitty litters laying right in front of your apartment complex. So much for a smoke free and pet free policies they have. Then if you have to break the lease for a reasonable cause (within 2 months of moving in) they will not consider letting you go even with a payment of 1 month's rent. We got tired & finally paid new tenant $1200 to basically give them $100 off every month & just got out of there as soon as we could. Because even when we brought prospective tenants and sent them to the office they rented them another apartment saying that one was better or already ready to go. Like this was not enough, They basically disregarded that we had just moved in 6 months ago (4 months of which we looked for tenants for them) & left the apartment squeaky clean after cleaning all the nooks & cranny. They never returned a penny of our deposit money back. Forget the harassment we got from the cleaning lady who came 3 times while we were loading up our moving van because she was getting late at 1pm to clean the place. read more

Ok, if you are checking this place out then you know the score... apartments in Cali are far too expensive and the management knows we don't have any cost reasonable options so they tend to go lean in terms of customer service and accountability. NOT this place!!! I have been here almost three years and from great location to well kept grounds keeping to amenities and realted extras like the gym and pool are all top tier. To make life here even better, the manager is unbelievable. I have not needed to reach out to him since moving in but have heard the stories from neighbors of how he goes the extra mile to make sure his tenants feel safe, secure and more importantly, part of a healthy and safe community. Even the local teens are positive and smiling around him and we all know how moody and dark teens are! He just goes the extra mile for this community and everyone senses it. Thanks Mr. M!!! read more
