Great brunch, great dinner. The flatbread is so good. I also don't think any restaurant has made me consistently order roast carrots before.

I came here with a friend and ordered the Farmers Hash with coffee. The food was good. The vibe of the restaurant was easy going. The only down side is the waitress wasn't too attentive. Once we got our food, she came back once to ask it we wanted jam, butter, hot sauce, or needed anything else. I did ask for jam and butter but she never came back with it and she didn't refill our coffee. I think our waitress could've been more attentive, especially since our meals+coffee averaged about $25/pp and the restaurant itself wasn't overly crowded at the time. read more

My friends and I came here on NYE for brunch and were immediately sat. We all got multiple rounds of mimosas, the Benedict, the hash, the biscuits and gravy and the egg special were all scrumptious. Tldr: took a long time to get mediocre food. Waited well over an hour for food, had to ask for more water multiple times. When the food did come, the French Toast was burnt and looked like a piece had been taken out of one of the slices. Also, an ordered side was forgotten, tried to charge us for it anyway. Potatoes were not seasoned and about half of them were undercooked. Only communication we got were apologies for the wait after we finished eating. Love love love this restaurant. Their farm to table concept of fantastic foodie fare is awesome. Service is good. They don't have many old-fashioned menus, so that isn't great. This is especially important for the older crowd who may not have a QR reader app on their smartphones, or even have a smart phone to begin with. TL;DR: They must fix their service timing and consistency Though we had mixed service in the past, the food had been solid, so we felt comfortable bringing some out of town friends here. The place seemed fully staffed, but we still ended up waiting for quite a while for drinks and for our order to be taken. It took a very long time (45 minutes? an. hour?) for nothing to come out, so we asked our waiter what was going on. Two of our dishes came out, too cold to eat. We asked for them to be heated up. Before the third dish came out, we were told we'd have to leave since they had an event (which started over an hour later!). Ever since discovering the Grange a few months ago, it's been one of our family favorites! I lived in Italy years ago and have always craved pizza like they have there. I've tried every highly rated pizza restaurant from Seattle to the East side and can easily say The Grange is the best I've had. It tastes just like the pizza in Italy thanks to high quality ingredients and delicious dough. They have more than pizza, but that is what we always go for. The caesar salad and carrots we love as well but I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. They also have a good selection of beer and wine. The Cabernet from Orenda is great. This would be a good spot for a date night but is also family friendly. We take our two young kids often. The indoor dining area is cute and they have a nice little back patio too. Service is always excellent. The only thing I wish they had that they do not have is a kids menu. read more

The food looks beautiful. I think the chef takes a lot of time making the plates look wonderful. The menu read like it's well crafted with a lot of amazing choices. Were the whole thing falls apart is the execution of the food. What had to have been last's night's potatoes was our brunch hash and it was too salty. The bottom of bowl was a layer of leftover oil and fat. For my hash, the mixed ingredients all had a different temperature from not cool to just hot. Nice brunch spot on Duvall's main street. During non-COVID times, they are packed during weekend breakfast/lunch hours. They have a nice patio with a few big tables in the back, too. Atmosphere is honey and warm. Food is solid, not out of this world amazing, but good for what it is. I prefer their breakfasty dishes over their lunchy dishes, but that may say more my tastes speaking than anything about the actual food. Not the cheapest, but then again, when is brunch ever cheap? I'm writing this with a heavy heart as I like this place a lot. I hope the owners can read this and make improvements. When I first discovered this place a few years back, things were great. The menu was great and so was their service. I still remember Sarah, the owner of this place, gave me a squash as my birthday gift on one visit. The last few visits had been disappointing. Food quality was not very consistent, and service was really lacking. Each staff is serving approximately 4-5 tables at busy times. It appears the staff is stretched thin as everything takes a long time. We were told that the wait for the table is about 15 minutes, and it was over 30 minutes. Once we got the table, it took another 10 minutes to get water, and then another 30 minutes or more to get food... Some customers arrived approximately the same time as we did, and they finish their meal before ours arrive. By the time we took the first bite, it's over an hour after arriving at the restaurant. No one was checking on us to see if we need anything. I had to go to the kitchen to talk to someone to get my coffee refilled. I understand staff shortage happens everywhere these days, so it's important to get the staff trained so they communicate with the customers to set the expectations right. Be upfront to the customer about wait times, and try to get as much prepared in one table visit as possible. Bringing the coffee without asking for cream and sugar is going to cost another trip to the table and the customer's wait time. Not good for the staff and the customer. I hope to see improvements in the future and provide an updated review. It would be very sad to see this place decline like the Original Pancake House. I'd suggest the owner of this restaurant to pay a visit to Rusty Pelican and see how the service stack up to them. BTW, I'm not affiliated to any of the restaurants mentioned above. Everyone at the Grange has always been so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The food has always been fantastic and the cocktails are some of the best I've had. Both brunch and dinner. Yes during the pandemic there has been some slow service here or there, but the people are always working hard and doing their best. I have brought many people here from out of town and they have all loved it as well. It's a little pricey if you're on a budget, but the ingredients are top notch being farm to table. read more

I would love to have given this establishment a 4-star rating, but two things stopped me from doing so. It was my mistake that I thought they served regular eggs benedict when really it was a dungeness crab benedict. The waitperson, who was very nice, offered to make it for me with either bacon or sausage. Great! So I got it with sausage but before ordering I mentioned to her that I was at a restaurant a mile or two down the road last week where I ordered eggs benedict and one of the yolks was perfectly runny while the other was totally overcooked. She said, well you came to the right place then today. I cut open my first egg which was sheer heaven and the sausage was in nice change from the ham. But, cutting through the second egg, the yolk was totally overdone, didn't run, nothing. Since I was with a group of five people, I got up after breakfast and mentioned this to her privately, asking if there was something that she could do with my check. I didn't want to have them remake my egg and have everyone else wait. While she took something off the bill, $4.20 to be exact, I was very surprised and disappointed that I was charged the same price for dungeness crab eggs benedict. Don't think bacon or sausage comes close. I brought four people here for breakfast, and while everyone seemed to enjoy what they had, it was very disheartening that my two eggs were such a 180 from one another. Did one sit in cold water for too long, was one made a lot earlier than the other egg? How does this happen? read more

Great place! We stopped in for Sunday morning brunch, along with nearly 10 other people who had the same idea. They got us seated quickly at the bar, and the server put our order in right away to beat the rush. The farm to table food didn't disappoint! The Grange burger was excellent- meat this good shouldn't be ground up into a burger! Beautiful flavors, fries were hot and done well. For dessert, we had a baked Brookie- half brownie half cookie, and almost ordered one for the road, but I guess by abstaining I will be back next week to try something new! read more

This place is a gem hidden in yet to be discovered cozy main street of Duvall. Only a matter of time. The food is amazing. Right there with the best places in Capitol Hill, Ballard, and downtown Seattle. Everything is incredibly fresh, made with love and home recipes. Whether it's battered cod you'll try, gnocchi, or their clams and mussels, it'll blow your mind. I'm a gourmet food fan, and no stranger to the best Yelp places, including some Michelin stars. I've been to the grange a few times now and the service has been consistently pretty slow. However, until today, the food was good. 1. It took 10 minutes for anyone to notice we were waiting to be seated. 2. It took an HOUR to get our food. 3. When we did get it, two of the three dishes were cold. 4. The last dish, pizza, was hot but the middle of the dough was almost raw. It did taste good if you ignored the middle. 5. Before we even got our last dish, the hostess came over and informed us that we needed to vacate the table soon, for another reservation. We told her that we hadn't been served yet and she said, "I know but we need the table." Then walked off mumbling that we needed to to leave soon. 6. The 2 cold dishes were nowhere near the quality they were previously. The brisket in the hash was hard and chewy and the vegetables seemed like last night's leftovers. Our waiter gave us 10% off, which is something, but not enough to make up for 3 bad meals, bad service, and being told to leave. It will be quite a while before we go back. read more

Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and also got to enjoy the lovely patio in the back! The menu was pretty small, not sure if the dinner menu is any bigger. I ordered the Famers Breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast). The portion was fairly small and I would have wanted a bit more potatoes with my meal. I also got to try the French Toast which was really good and definitely something I would come back for. Next time, I'll be back to try The Grange for dinner! read more

1 star off for requiring 20% gratuity, even on takeout orders. Counterintuitive for the very purpose of gratuity. I'm cautious on reviews these days. So many restaurants are inconsistent and I try to apply the pandemic "justification" as much as possible but there are some real head scratchers out there. I always remember watching that episode of Hell's Kitchen where Ramsay throws plates of food around, shattering them on the ground, saying it is someone's job to ensure only consistent and well-represented food makes it past the serving counter. I don't require that level but there are some real doozies. Third time ordering from the grange. Each time has been consistently good pizza, so it is time to post. Vivi Pizzeria is one we had liked in the past for the real deal pizzas. I believe the Grange has usurped Vivi in quality, obviously not variety, but wow does the Grange come through on real pizza. You know, the stuff you slave away on at home, kneading dough, buying good mozzarella and ingredients, and throwing it in your wood burning oven for 2 mins? Tonight, we ordered the Falling Leaves pizza and another one. When I saw the Falling Leaves that my wife wanted, had pumpkin sauce, squash, etc... I told her I'd order it for her. That just didn't seem appetizing. Took a bite and wow, I could eat that all day long. Their chef clearly knows how to get ingredients to work together and create something special. Anyway, pic is after we had a few samplings. Even my young daughter whom prefers cheese pizzas, asked for one of the Fall ones. The food was really good. Service was nice but extremely slow. No non-dairy options for milk for coffee which seems highly odd. Even if the place is bucking the fads, to choose not to accommodate folks who are lactose intolerant is strange. It's not as if they grow every single ingredient on their menu or behind the bar. Would it really kill them to buy a dairy-sub for people's coffee? If you serve breakfast this just feels like a weird stand to take. But 3 stars for great food. read more

I see people mourning the loss of The Olde Grange, and I don't get it. I loved the beautiful room/building, the outside deck and the locally sourced food; all of those things are still there. What they have added is fantastic! The menu is inventive and focused on the ingredients. We had a pea shoot and radish salad that was so fresh and delicious I could practically taste the valley. They honored the original building, the things they added look right at home. There is an actual bar now and they make great cocktails. Yes, it is a bit more expensive but that's because you end up getting desert or a second drink because they are so good. I have zero complaints. UPDATE 6/17/20 Now that we are in lockdown and restaurants are closed, The Grange has adapted to provide locals with grocery staples from the valley and a little beyond, in addition to a pared down takeout menu and frozen meals. read more

Decent brunch but some areas need help. * The good, service nice, fast, and responsive. The lady who helped us was good a little frazzled from some staffing issues but she was good. Food presentation was on point the food looked good when it came out and made you want to eat it with your eyes. Flavor for most items was good and on point. My better half salad was dressed right and tasty. Her quiche was good. The fries my son had were hot and good. His fried chicken was juicy/ crunchy/ tender. My eggs beidects looked good and had great sauce. Coffee was hot and on point. * Areas of opportunity * I think comes down to seasoning on some items and temperature for some items. * For example both set of our home fries had flavor but were under temperature, mine were almost cold. The chicken for my son lacked seasoning which is sad because otherwise it was executed really well. My pork was soft and tasted but my second piece was significantly cooler than my first. This makes me think there was a timing issue in the kitchen for service. I would go back and try it again. There are other small issues but not worth ranting about. I think alot of these issues could be corrected easily and make this a significant brunch spot. I am at a 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. I can't wait to see how they improve. read more

I had the 32 dollar bone in pork chop and it showed up super undercooked. Had to send it back. Super disappointing. The potatoes were also undercooked and under seasoned. They had a live band that had no idea their speaker were super loud. They kept on getting feedback from their mics but they had no idea the reason was cause their set up was too loud.
