Another great find in Woodinville is weekend brunch at the Brix Wine Cafe. There's no line and no wait for delicious food. The veggie and spicy sausage scrambles were tasty and eggs were cooked perfectly. We had the option of a side either an arugula salad or brunch potatoes. Service was friendly and prompt. The cafe is spacious and they have plenty of seating. I look forward to coming back again, as well as trying happy hour and dinner.

always chasing unforgettable dining experiences, I'm thrilled to give Brixe Wine Cafe a well-deserved 5 stars across the board! This charming spot has quickly become one of my favorite go-to's for a flawless meal with my family. From the food to the service to the sparkling clean atmosphere, Brixe nails every detail. Here's why you need to visit ASAP! Stepping into Brixe Wine Cafe is like finding the perfect balance of cozy and chic. The ambiance is wonderfully quiet, creating a serene escape that's ideal for families or anyone craving a relaxed meal. The interior is impeccably clean, with a warm, inviting design that makes you feel instantly at home. I was especially impressed by the spotless bathrooms--a detail that matters when dining with kids. Whether you're here for a casual lunch or an evening out, the vibe is pure perfection. It's rare to find a place that feels so effortlessly welcoming, and Brixe delivers in spades. The food at Brixe is nothing short of spectacular! Every bite was a reminder of why I love exploring new restaurants. The burger is an absolute must-try--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection, it's easily one of the best burgers I've ever had. Paired with their crispy, golden French fries, which are seasoned just right, it's a combo that'll leave you dreaming of your next visit. Portions are generously sized, so you're getting incredible value alongside top-tier quality. The kids' menu deserves its own spotlight. It's a game-changer for parents, offering a variety of options that go beyond the usual kid fare. My little one was thrilled with the choices, and the portions were so big they left the table happy and full--a rare win with picky eaters! From the quality of the ingredients to the thoughtful presentation, the kids' menu matches the adult offerings in every way. Brixe clearly knows how to cater to all ages, making it a true family-friendly gem. The staff at Brixe Wine Cafe is phenomenal, and I can't say enough about their warmth and professionalism. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and made to feel like VIPs. Our server was attentive, offering spot-on recommendations and checking in with just the right timing. They went above and beyond with my kid, engaging them with kindness that turned a great meal into a memorable experience. The entire team exudes passion for what they do, and it shows in every interaction. This is the kind of service that keeps you coming back.

We told ourselves we'd want to come back to try the other dishes on the menu and so we did! We brought friends this time. Made reservations as we weren't sure how busy they're going to be. The place was full! We got seated in the bar section this time and ended up on one of the high tables. Cocktails: - Calamity Jane - WWCo Rye, Amaro Montenegro, House Made Honey-Anise Syrup, Angostura & Orange Bitters, on ice $17 - my friend liked it. She said it reminded her of Old Fashioned. - Deeper Shade of Grey - WWCo Bourbon, House Made Earl Grey-Sage Syrup, Lemon, Angostura Bitters, Served Up $17 - I got to taste this drink and interestingly enough, this drink reminded me of Old Fashioned and so did my friend who ordered this drink. Appetizers: - Tuna Tartare - Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Cucumber, Shallots, Red Chiles, Fresh Herbs, Parsley Horseradish Vigaigrette & Crocattini Crackers $17 - this was a hit at our table! Fresh tuna, nice and light tasty appetizer! It was unanimous that we'd all order this again! - Filet Mignon Steak Bites - Portobello Mushroom, Sweet Onions, Demi Glace, Blue Cheese Crumbles & Fresh Baked Baguette. This dish was good as well. It's a heavier appetizer compared to the Tuna Tartare but if it's shared among 4 people, it's not too heavy. It was very tasty! Entrée: - Roasted Black Cod - this was on their specials. It was a decent size filet of black cod with miso (glaze?) on top of some puree (sorry, it's not on their online menu). It was very good and surprisingly went well with the bottle of red wine we ordered (more on this later). $29 - Chicken Marsala - Pan Seared Airline Chicken Breast, Crimini Mushrooms, Sautéed Spinach, Yukon Gold Mash, Shallots & Marsala Garlic Cream Sauce. I was told the dish was very good (the clean plate was the proof!) $29.50 - Brix Cafe Burger - Waygu Beef Prepared Medium, Aioli, Tomato, Lettuce, Carameized Onion, Thick Cut Bacon, Macrina Bakery Bun & Fries. Selected Beecher's Flagship White Cheddar this time. We tasted this burger with Blue Cheese the last time and hands down, the white cheddar version was much better. It wasn't overpowering so you can taste the meat, bacon, aioli, basically the other ingredients. $22. 2 from our table ordered this and they both liked it very much! We had a bottle of 2015 Reserva Rioja Cone Valdemar $50 - everyone who had it said it went well with their food. Dessert: - Apple Bread Pudding - Whiskey Caramel Sauce, & Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - $11. Yummy dessert! - Pot de Creme Chocolate Espresso Custard - Whipped Cream & Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans $12. Another yummy dessert! Our server was great and timed everything well -- gave us a few minutes in between service. Highly recommend this place!

We came in on Tuesday and it wasn't very busy. We got sat right away and our host was very friendly and welcoming. Our waiter came quickly and took our drink orders. I got tuna tartare with cucumbers instead of the crackers that normally come with it. My husband got the salmon with broccoli instead of spinach. Everything was so delicious and we will definitely be coming back!

The best Ceasar salad! Our server, Meghan was awesome! The atmosphere is good, the music level was just right for conversation, just a great place to grab a meal in Woodenville.

What a lovely addition to the Woodinville Wine Alley area! I finally had a chance to get brunch here on the weekend. I had the crab cake benedict. The poached egg was a little less runny than I would have liked but overall it was a delicious meal! Our server was attentive and the place wasn't very busy. I don't think people realize they have a good brunch menu - it is dwarfed by The Rusty Pelican that is adjacent to the building. I will have to return for dinner as my best friend went recently and said the dinner menu is equally impressive!

This place is my jam! Array of offerings for everyone, including a variety of veggie and light choices for me and pasta and meat options for the fam, attentive service , love their outdoor, covered patio! Pros - warm broccoli salad with an anchovy flair - array of hummus/ fresh veggie and pita offerings. We had the baba ganoush and they brought us extra fresh veggies. Mmmmm! - Tina tartare- mmmmm! More please!! I need to go here more!

    Excellent Pot de crème

Their food is Seattle restaurant quality in Woodinville at reasonable prices! Their chocolate pot de crème is excellent as is the chicken pot pie, scallops, and salmon. Their roasted broccoli salad is so good we debate about whether to order 1 or 2 each time. Great wine list!

    Wild salmon
    Deb C.

My wild salmon was very yummy! My bestie said her Chicken Marsala was delicious too. Kids' burgers seemed nice from what husband said about the bite he tried. Couple of things that could have really turned it around for the five stars: - it was a little weird that when I called to change my reservation from 5 to 6 people (I was having trouble in the Yelp app), I was asked to leave a credit card number because if I were to no show, it would be a $20 PER PERSON charge. I said no to doing that and the person on the phone said I could change it in the Yelp app, to which I replied that I was having trouble. She quickly changed it and then I said thank you, and hung up before being asked for my credit card number again. (It turned out that the 6th person couldn't come after all, and I changed it through the app back to 5.) - bread isn't complimentary - it was $6; juice for kids doesn't come with refills - it was $2.50. I did appreciate that our server warned me about refills not being included. - calamari was accidentally brought to our table - it looked yummy but then quickly taken away. (I feel badly that it was probably thrown away - we would have gladly eaten it if offered!) - it just got SUPER loud as soon as we finished dinner. This might be because all these large groups were bunched together instead of being spaced apart. We were pretty much yelling at each other and while I would have happily stayed for dessert, we just couldn't hear ourselves talking. Parking was fine, just use the nearby garage. There were lots of spaces for 5:30 pm. TLDR: food was good, experience could have been better.

    chicken marsala

This restaurant was really pretty, and the food was really tasty! I got the chicken marsala-- it was super flavorful and yummy! However, we felt the service was not the best as we were rarely checked on, the appetizer we ordered never came, and the server we had seemed to be more interested in the couple next to us than our table-- basically we felt ignored and rushed to order and get out. Probably won't be back again, but that sauce was great!

It was a lovely sunny day so it was nice being outside - they do have large umbrellas but it doesn't cover the whole group so it can get a bit hot in direct sun. We didn't realize it, but we accidentally came during restaurant week (although we were supposed to have brunch). Since they only had 3 things on their brunch menu, we opted for the restaurant week menu. We tried the shishito peppers, poutine, tomato soup, burger, spaghetti, lemon tart, and a pate choux. A 3 course was $35 which is reasonable (portions were pretty small so easy to finish). The highlight were the tempura shishito peppers; the aioli that came with the peppers was delicious and the peppers themselves were hot and crispy. The poutine appetizers was unfortunately disappointing (very meaty, actually no curds at all and large soggy potatoes). The entrees took awhile to come out which wasn't a problem since we were just socializing. The burger was decent; it came with a goat cheese and the soup was good. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the pasta; portion was very small and it was very very salty (and had capers on top which did not help). We ended up getting our desserts to go since our group was heading to the wineries and tried them later. We did enjoy the dessert. The lemon tart portion was very small but tasty and the pate choux was also good too, so I would recommend the desserts here. I think this place is great for large groups and had a pleasant experience overall, but the rating is for the food alone which I was unfortunately pretty disappointed in.

We don't frequent Hollywood Tavern as it was our first time, but it was just too easy to drop by for a snack before stopping by the distillary. Found a table in the bar area that was just right with beautiful view of the whiskey bottles lining the window. We got prompt attention and reviewed the menu for the snack. I was about to get fish and chips but was steered toward the Cubano pork sandwich with french fries. My wife got a caesar salad with romaine instead of kale and we decided to try the fried pickles too. No drinks other than water as we had plans afterward. The positives is the location, the atmosphere and they had all the pub fare you would expect. The only thing that dampened the pleasure was everything the fries, the sandwich, the salad, and even the sauces tastes quite salty to me. My wife mentioned to me seeing red edges on the romaine in her salad typically meaning not as fresh as it should have been. Definitely a nice place for beer drinking in the bar or outside on the patio during these springtime days. Not sure of the root cause of the over seasoning, but I'll ask for lighter next time.

But that's fine because we sat at the bar and hung out with the owner. My husband I did a different flight. We are such suckers for flights because we have no idea what we like, so those were fun. I think he got the Drama Queen and I defaulted to the other one. Lol. We also got the Gorgonzola Toast. Which, those roasted red grapes were a bit too strong for me, but my husband loved them. There's SO much to offer here that we will definitely be back to try and enjoy more bubbles. Great spot to hang out with friends, and enough small bites to keep you from going over the edge while still enjoying yourself. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I each ordered the Drama Queen flight ($46), which included three bubblies: Duval Leroy Grand Brut, Levasseur, and Dumenil. Each one was distinct and thoughtfully selected. We added some nosh--truffle chips and the whipped ricotta with baguette--simple but delicious pairings. To top it off, she suggested a "Royal Treatment" as a happy ending to our flights: a 4-oz pour of Lambrusco. Totally unexpected and very different--almost grape-juice-like, yet rich and port-adjacent at the same time. Surprisingly enjoyable. What really made the evening special was the experience. She played our favorite 80s music, shared fascinating stories about the grapes and vineyards, and made the whole night feel personal and relaxed. Overall, a fun, intimate evening and a great spot for a quick bubbly celebration. Would absolutely go back.
