I've been using the Good Feet Store orthotics for over 20 years and wear them almost every day. I needed to replace my arch support cushions. They were pretty torn up, but you can't order new ones online, you must pick them up at one of their locations. They do request you make an appointment but I took my chances and walked in on a weekday and was served right away. All I needed was a pair of replacement cushions but I had the representative check my arch supports, and they were "flattened out." I was given a brand new replacement pair at no cost. No hassle. The retail price is $549.95 by the way. I've had that happen a couple of other times and both times, I received the same great return/replacement policy. A lifetime guarantee really means, a lifetime guarantee! The representative had me walk on a paper and measure my foot. Not sure what he was checking for. I thought he would try to upsell me into something, but he didn't. Good on him! As for the new pair of replacement cushions that I went in for, yes they had them but when I went to pay, the representative said they come in a three-pack. What? I only needed one pair and the pair I had lasted several years. It was a "gothcha" moment but I had no choice because I needed the cushions. The retail price was $149.95, and I was given a $30 discount for "Cushion Option 1," making the total $127.94, including tax. Makes me wonder if I could have just purchased just one pair? It didn't seem to be an option at the time, and there were no prices posted anywhere. Oh well, I probably now have a lifetime of cushions to go along with my lifetime arch supports. read more

His interactive approach as he walks you through the program allows you to understand and appreciate what they have to offer. After asking me some questions he excused himself and came back with arch supports for me to try on. No not in the store, he suggested that I take a walk out front and around the block to get an idea of how the work. WOW!!!!!!! What a difference they make. Good Feet is a rip off. Free exam, followed by high pressure sales pitch. They do not even custom form them to your feet. They give you 3 different pre made foot beds that you wear in a specific sequence. They threw in 5 junky pairs of socks, claimed to-be a 50.00 value each pair. End result, $1400.00 dollars, without shoes. Bottom line, your buying a high priced system that may or may not work. Mine did not. A pediatrist will actually take a mold of your foot and fit the orthotic to your specific need for around $500.00 read more

I have been dealing with a rough plantar fasciitis problem that even had surgery on it. I'm a dog groomer so I'm on my feet all day and by the end of the day I'm in tears because my feet hurt so bad. I went to this store based on my mom's recommendation. I wasn't real sure about it but after they explained things to me and assisted me in not only getting proper insoles but shoes to help my wonky gait, I was mostly sold. I bought the shoes and insoles today and felt big buyers remorse. That is until I was able to jog and even run without my leg and foot giving completely out. Like others have said, this place is too expensive for what you get in return. Additionally, the staff doesn't seem trained to handle tough cases like mine. I had plantar fasciitis for years before giving in to the tv commercials and visiting the Good Feet store. I visited multiple times to find the right fit of arch supports but found absolutely no relief. I asked for the sales team to show me medical research to support the use of their product and I got blank stares in return. I finally got relief when I visited a podiatrist (someone who actually went to school to understand feet) and got almost instant relief with custom orthotics (for $400 and NOT $1100). Save your money and go see a real doctor. The arch supports sold at the Good Feet Store are hard and uncomfortable and the sales staff will say anything to sell you $1100 arch supports. And when I went back because they weren't working, the salesperson exchanged the ones I had for some that were even more uncomfortable. That should help, right? Thanks for gambling with my pain. Again, I should've gone to a doctor first. You should too. read more

I'm torn on my review of Good Feet. I've gotten inserts from Walgreens for $15 and I've also gotten full orthotics from a foot doctor which usually run about $300 after insurance. The product itself is definitely a 4 stars. I've been wearing them for a week and while the inserts themselves still hurt my feet a bit (supposed to go away within the first 3 weeks), I can definitely tell a difference while wearing them. My ankle pain is definitely better.. However, the rest of the experience was really a 1 star. It's definitely a hard sell from the second you walk in the door. It feels like you're buying a used car. The salesman (this one said he was the manager - true or not, I'm not sure. Isn't that what car salesmen always say?) had me take my shoes/socks off and had me walk on a paper that's on an ink pad to show me how bad my walk is and how much the inserts would help. Having been to an orthopedic and a podiatrist and hearing the exact same words coming from this guy I at least knew that he knew what he was talking about in regard to that. He then measured my feet and then came out from the back with a couple pairs of shoes and several pairs of inserts. I told him I wasn't interested in shoes and he didn't push it. He put the inserts in my shoes and told me to go walk around and maybe go next door and eat lunch and come back in a little bit and let me know how it felt. I did and came back about 20 minutes later. When I came in he started in on the spiel telling me I needed "the package" (can't remember what the package itself was called) and that they would help. One of them was the hard insert (exercisor), the 2nd was the maintainer (softer) and the 3rd was a set of inserts for open toed shoes like flip flops or sandals. It also came with 3 sets of soles to go over them in the shoes. Total? $550. I'd expected to spend about $300 so was a little shocked about the price. However I've been in extreme pain for awhile so figured it was worth it if it helped (the wife happens to think I'm an idiot for not just walking out). :) I bit the bullet and bought them, and then was told they have NO RETURN POLICY. In other words, if it doesn't work you're screwed. They have a 90 day exchange policy, but WTH you going to exchange them for if you don't like the inserts?? After going home I did the research I should've done beforehand and found out that it is possible to buy everything separately rather than paying for it all at one time. My first clue was that on my receipt he rang everything up separately and then took $100 off the top for the package. I felt jilted but since my pain does seem to be going away I guess it was worth it, it just didn't feel like that good of an experience. Would I go back? Probably not. read more

If you have really high arches, these supports provide very little support! I went in this store specifically looking for arch supports for high heels. The salesman took my foot measurements and brought out the pre-made supports. I even brought a pair of heels to test. When I put them on they felt better than without the support but not great. The guy told me that it takes about a week or two to get acclimated to the new support so I took them home. After wearing them for two weeks I still had the same problems...not enough arch support. All of my weight remains on the ball of my foot. So I guess I paid for some pretty expensive paper weights! No refund given. I asked. This company should stand behind their product if it's so fucking great! read more

If you don't realise that you are walking into some great performance based sales schtick as soon as you walk in the door- then you clearly have not worked in strip mall retail Sales. I'm all about supporting brick and mortar local Businesses that contribute to the local tax base but this is just a performance store front for something you can buy on like for a FRACTION of the cost and possibly more closely matched to your foot. The format here will likely go that they will try to upswell you into a shoe with inserts, then if that is not working they will try to sell you inserts for 1000.00, if that doesn't work you can buy the much cheaper "disposable version". All of which are found online much cheaper. In comparing the material from the 100.00 option to the 1000.00 option there is not enough difference to warrant it such a drastic price difference. Me businesses are just based on taking an affordable service and making it more premium in retail heavy areas. This place is a great case study for that. I found what appears to be a much better option online for 250.00 as opposed to a grand. It's still fun to watch their sales process. They have you go out and try the insert in for 15 mins at a time affording them time to work up the next customer. Unfortunately, these sales guys don't make very convincing specialists. They are the same type of dudes that were trying to sell you a warranty on your car stereo in the beeper section of bestbuy decades ago. If I have to hear the phrase "26 bones" again it will be too soon. You too will be very aware that there are 26 bones in the human foot until this franchise changes up their sales scripts. Instead of going here- could Interest you in an extended auto warranty. It appears yours has expired. After reading your weak reply, I feel certain that all you are paying for is the storefront overhead and not a substantial difference in quality if any. I found a few highly recommended options online for a fraction of the cost. Tell your associates to go back to used car sales. read more

I have visited the Good Feet store twice. Both times, I received excellent customer service. Although the store was extremely busy the second time I visited to pick up the shoes I ordered, Leon, the manager, made sure that I was a happy customer prior to leaving. I appreciated that he took the time to make sure I was satisfied even though he had other customers that he was helping. Also, his printer was down when I was there, and he wasn't able to print me a receipt but he did email it to me and followed up to make sure I received the receipt. I came to this Good Feet to get new running shoes because most athletic running shoes kill my arches. Jordan brought out a variety of running shoes. Not only did I find attractive running shoes, but shoes with support. Leon has also taken exceptional care of me with foot cushions and the newest model of Brooks running shoes. I have had lower back and knee pains since I was in 3rd grade. I have always been shy about wearing arches, but as I've gotten older I have realized I need the arch support. Ever since I got these Brooks running shoes, with my new arch support system, my lower back isn't in pain and my knees aren't hurting when I run. This might not sound like a big deal, but I have missed running for 3 years! When I used to run 4.5-6.5 miles 6 day a week. Yes, the arch support system may seem expensive, but it's a lot less expensive than knee surgery. I am truly thankful to Good Feet. I can't say enough good things about The Good Feet Store! I have been a customer for over 3 years. I tried everything for my plantar fasciitis but only got temporary relief. Then I went to The Good Feet Store. I got the full package including orthotics, insoles and shoes. Almost immediately the pain in my heal went away. I have been pain free ever since with a couple of minor flare ups. When this happens, I go right into The Good Feet Store as the inserts have a lifetime warranty. One time it was my shoes and Leon swapped the shoes out for a new pair, for free, as he noticed the shoe wasn't holding up like it should have. I brought in my old orthotics bought from the foot feet store a while ago..... when I got them replaced they gave me the wrong size. Hey jury my feet and caused bad pressure points..... I brought them back and they admitted they gave me wrong size but would mail me the correct size.... after several weeks I called the store and they said they didn't have the same ones I had but had the "upgrade" pair of o wanted to pay more....... talk about a bait and switch read more

I wish there were more stars. I came to Good feet out of sheer desperation. I was a non-believer but in so much pain that I could barely walk. I am extremely active and the pain had reduced me to little to no activity which was very depressing for me. I limped into this location willing to try anything at this point for some relief. Within 30 mins, Leon had me properly fitted and feeling like I was walking on air! I could NOT believe the instant relief I felt. My heel pain was nearly gone and so was my limp! I have been a customer of Good Feet for many years and not only have their arch supports been a life saver for me but I've found their staff, especially their manager Leon to be nothing but friendly, helpful and extremely informative. I am a mom of two kids who loves to run and work out. Without the help of Good Feet arch supports and their great staff, I would struggle with constant pain and discomfort in my back, knees and legs. Good Feet arch supports have been nothing but helpful to me and I highly recommend everyone check them out. My experience in store was as good as my experience with the supports themselves. Customer service at it's best! I bought a pair of Brooks running shoes and inserts to help with my plantar fasciitis. I tried 5 different levels of arch support and they were just not working for me. I saw lots of people in the store who they were working for. I knew there was a no return policy so I was prepare for a big discussion when I went in the store to discuss my options. I had been working with Leon and he was there. I told him my situation and he saw form the computer records that I had been in several times. He said ok here is what we are going to do. He wrote down 6 different shoe brands for me and told me to go online and pick out 8 pairs of shoes. Come back and he will order them for me. I was speechless. No fight? No discussion? I picked out 8 pairs of shoes ranging from sandals to hiking shoes. Went back in. Leon ordered the shoes for me with a great attitude and was so friendly. Then I asked if I could buy new insoles for my Brooks running shoe I had on because I lost it since I had inserts in them. He brought me out a new pair of shoes! By far the best customer service I have ever seen. I will for sure go back to buy shoes next time I need them. They are awesome shoes and are worth every penny. read more

This review is really more about the Good Feet company and the sales tactics that this company uses. Like the other reviewer the Good Feet experience is just like buying a used car on Broadway or North Federal. First, know that Good Feet product's are super expensive. If you have money to burn, this is the place to go. I knew going in that it would be around 500 bucks. I have had custom orthotics in the past and at Good Feet they hooked me up for over $900!!! Nice. When I reviewed the details of my bill I really liked the $65.95 they charged for what are essentially Charcoal inserts to control smell and the kicker was $59.95 for what they can a Cluffy Wedge. This is nothing more than a sticker placed under where your big toe toes to raise it up a bit... I gotta say what an awesome up sale, an extra $130.00. The "system" is a joke. The Exerciser, Maintainer and the Relaxer. They make it sound like this super system will do the trick. It's completely over done and so ridiculous that its really about justifying the cost. The best part is that they say in the instructions that most people end up using the exerciser as there primary device. So why the over kill? Justification of price. Like the other reviewer, you walk over a ink pad for them to "size" your foot. haha. Honestly, the Dr. Scholes Kiosk at Wally world is more high tech than this place. If I am going to spend 900 bucks wow me a little. The sales people are basically trained to take the "image" back and do something in the back and somehow they have fitted you. My experience was pretty funny. The Sale rep called me by his previous client's name throughout the whole appt. Car salesmen at least remember your name when they are putting you together... After the sale, this product literally crippled me within 48 hours. The instructions say that this is common. But I was not able to walk, period. Lucky for me I took my stupid pill the day I bought these things and paid for the lifetime resize warranty.. I was back in the store getting these things re-fitted so I could basically walk.. Over the next 3 months I was re-fitted 4 times. Each time, they felt fine in the store and on the so-call try out walk... After an hour, the pain was so bad that I would either have to take them out or use crutches. NOTE: NO REFUNDS!!! Ralph Schomp gives you a 3 day period to return a car for a refund. Good Feet. No luck. BEWARE.... I finally broke down and went to the Dr. and the first thing out of her mouth. "Oh., Good Feet.... Well, the first thing is you will stop wearing them and we will work on getting you pain under control and then address your foot problem. I see this all the time with Good Feet clients. This is well known amongst the foot care world. They do a really good job of advertising." Amazing, if I had just taken the time and spent 45 minutes with her I would $900 richer and today under her care pain free. My conclusion, avoid Good Feet. The owner posted that he has clients who swear by these products. Good for these clients and all the best to anyone that Good Feet helps out. I would suggest that they have a money back guaranteed period and stand behind their products and not a policy. That would really show something. I am out a large amount of money and this will go on my tombstone as one of the dumbest purchases I have ever made.
