Fake pricing! Converse All Stars we $55 on a Tuesday. The same shoes were $59 on Black Friday. You'll notice your phone won't work inside a Famous Footwear. Once you are outside the store you will notice your phone will start working again. Pick any shoe in the store and remember the price. Once you are outside the store "Google Search" the same shoe. You'll notice all shoes in Famous Footwear are for sale above the MSRP. Kohl's was "outed" for fake pricing, Famous Footwear can't be too far off for the same fake pricing. You will also notice nearly half of the store inventory is gone. It's anyone's guess as to why inventory is down 50% (this happened BEFORE COVID). You It's fair to assume distributors no longer wish to do business with Famous Footwear. That should speak volumes of the business practices Famous Footwear is involved in. read more

First time I've ever been here, and first time I really noticed its presence in this shopping center near Nordstrom Rack and Costco (and I come to this area a lot!). This place is really big! You walk in and are welcomed by rows upon rows of organized and brightly lit shoe options. Sneakers, boots, men's, women's and kid's! I had no idea they carried such a varied selection. I was surprised by the variety of stylish knee-high boots and the like they carried (nothing like the selection at DSW for boots though). And the pricing was reasonable, though I certainly didn't feel like I was getting anything for a deal or bargain hunting. My 6 year old son had quite a few rows of sneakers to peruse and make his choices from. They had his size in the majority of the styles, and there were signs saying you could order them if they didn't. And after him trying on a few pairs and making careful style analysis of each one we found a pair he liked and were on our way! I spent about 10%-15% more than I would ideally spend on a 6 year old's sneakers, but I wasn't willing to go to another store if they had a style he liked. And the brands (Nike, Sketchers, New Balance, Reebok, etc) are of high enough quality that I hope for the money they last until the next pair; which on a growing kid we all know won't be long. I also need to give a special service shout out to the teens that were working there. The young man's name was Antonio (I think), adorable red head, and he was straight out of a sales training manual! He introduced himself, offered his assistance then made himself scarce. He later wandered back to compliment my son on a pair of shoes he was trying on, and chatted a little before once again fading into the background. The young lady who checked us out was lovely as well. All in all, I will likely be back when I'm shoe shopping for casual shoes for the family, or maybe even for a pair of boots for me! read more

Famous Footwear - Shoe Stores Near Me - Lone Tree, Colorado

As much as I like the selection and prices at Famous Footwear, the customer service is pathetic! I've had issues with apathetic service/poor employee attitude in the past, but I have foolishly kept coming back. No more! We took our daughter to the Park Meadows location tonight to get a few pairs of shoes for the school year. When we arrived at 7:55pm, we were "greeted" at the door by one of the employees and told that we only had 3 minutes to look around as the store would be closing. We entered the store and went straight to the children's shoe area. While we were looking, the employee told a co-worker "they won't be here long...I already told them." I understand that employees want to go home as soon as possible after a long shift in retail, but meeting people at the door to discourage them from looking at the shoes is probably not what store management has in mind. After looking at one pair of shoes, we started to leave and were asked by the employee if we had found anything we liked. Seriously? In 3 minutes? As I read some of the other reviews, it is apparent that this location has some serious personnel issues. Judging by the absent responses by management, it does not appear that they have any desire to address customer feedback. read more

Normally I would have given one star after my interaction with the manager however the sales associate was more mature, responsible and helped with the situation. The "manager" which I'll say didn't have her name tag on kept insisting that the price me and my 2 children had seen was wrong and "there was no way she was going to mark it down" even though it was only a $5 difference. Luckily the sales associate took me on the other register and was nice enough to adjust the price to the one we had seen. That manager was the reason the experience wasn't 5 stars. read more

First time here, was across the street at Costco and remembered that I need to get something for my shoes. Very clear display and the store is very bright so it will make your shopping much more easy. Customer service was great and the price is very reasonable, will come back again. read more

I have been a customer for over 30 years. I have always been impressed by the customer service of Famous Footwear. However, on two separate occasions, I have had to return items to this location. The store manager, Tina, refused a return for a brand new pair of shoes that had never touched pavement because it was past the 30 day return policy. My understanding is that a manager has the ability to make 'judgement calls' on the situation. She refused - and was very proud of her power to make that refusal. I promised myself never to shop at that location again. However, my son needed a new pair of shoes and DSW Warehouse did not have what he was looking for. I reluctantly went back to this location. I ended up purchasing a pair of $60 Adidas tennis shoes (certainly higher than my budgeted price.) 3 weeks later, my son came home with a huge tear in the leather portion of the toe. I asked him what had happened and he said it ripped. I took him and the shoes back to the store. I did not have my receipt as I was not planning on stopping at the store that day, but it was close to an errand we were running. I knew that they could look up the transaction, and knew that it was on my rewards card. When we walked in the store, again, I saw that the store manager, Tina, was there. The same one who treated me so badly last time. When I showed her the shoes, she used her 'shoe expertise' to decide that the rip in the shoe was my son's fault and not a defect in workmanship. She then proceeded to get the asst. manager to agree with her. I would have no part of that. $60 shoes should not rip within 3 weeks of purchase, when my son said he did nothing to rip them. They literally had split in the middle of the leather. Since I didn't have my receipt, I asked that they look up my transaction. 10 minutes of looking, and they said they couldn't find it. I was certain it was within 30 days or close to it. The store managers refused to contact customer service - said it "wasn't their job." Not a single customer in the store, but these two managers would not make a call. Scribbled the number on paper and said I needed to call. I left the store very upset. When I finally got customer service on the phone, she was able to look up the transaction. We had purchased the $60 Adidas shoes on Feb. 9, 2014. She asked if the managers offered me an exchange. "No." Did they offer a refund? "No." I told her they treated me like I was a criminal trying to pull something over on them. The manager in fact said "How many shoes have you tried to return at this store?" I could not believe it. 30 years as a customer, and two returns in 6 months, legitimate returns. To be talked to that way was horrific. The customer service agent contacted the store, on my behalf, and told them I was within my 30 days - and they needed to offer an exchange. Famous Footwear has great employees at many of their stores. But the store manager at this store is training other employees to treat their customers with the same suspiciousness that she treats them with, not as customers, but as people trying to beat some 'system.' I am not one of those people, and just want value for my money and to work with managers who have the ability to see when to do the right thing - regardless of whether they like the customer or not. read more

The store itself is nice. But the employees are annoying as hell! I went in to try on boots and had the one sales girl follow me around like I was trying to steal something, and then literally stand over my shoulder while I tried on shoes. I was actually running around the store trying to get away from her. So unprofessional and fricken weird. Then I asked the creepy girl to look up a pair of boots and see if they had them in a wide calf option, she looked on the computer for 10 minutes only to come back and tell me "no sorry they don't make those in wide calf." I got in my car and within 30 seconds had found on their website that they do in fact have those same boots in a wide calf option. Thanks a lot for that. Maybe instead of being up your customers butts while they try on shoes you could better train your staff. read more

The past two times I went into the store, I have never been SO JUDGED. I have red hair and tattoos and Im an edgy looking person, but I probably make more money than any of the associates there and I feel they thought I was stealing. the past two times i went in i was being stared at & talked about by the employees. I was trying on shoes w/ my best friend & felt I was trying them on for all the associates as they were staring & whispering to each other while looking at us. They literally stood at the end of my aisle BOTH times & watched me try on shoes. I made little comments here & there about how they need to leave me alone & let me shop. very unprofessional & me nor my friends will be purchasing shoes from there anymore. needless to say, I ended up leaving & buying the exact same shoes inside the mall at Journeys (which is why i went to famous footwear, to not have to go in mall!) they lost money TWO times by lack of professionalism. read more
