I have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and drop foot syndrome recently. My New Balance shoes are too gripping and since I live within walking distance of this store, I decided to ask for their recommendations and try on a variety of different shoes. Amy greeted me with a beautiful smile and asked if she could help. She listened and then suggested a few shoes. She patiently helped me try on several pairs. Of course, the pair I found the most comfortable are the most expensive and considering that I am engaged in a physical therapy regimen I decided to ask my therapist for his advice. The bottom line is that I recommend this place, especially if you enjoy excellent customer service! read more

What an amazing place. My doctor sent me here to get shoes that woujd support my foot after my surgery. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by the owner, Jim. This man is an encyclopedia of information as it pertains to fitting shoes to surgically repaired feet. He knew exactly what I needed and the shoes he fitted me in enable me to walk without a cane or a boot. Incredible. I highly recommend this shoe store if you have special post op footwear needs. My shoes were pricey but worth every cent. read more

Murray's Shoes - My new FAVORITE pair! - Shoe Stores Near Me - Littleton, Colorado

Nice associates. I drove all the way for a trunk show. Didn't have my size so it was a wasted trip. They can order in but since I live so far away I didn't want to order to the store. They have sale tables for men and women's shoes. And a nice selection of comfortable looking footwear. read more

I am very impressed by the selection and quality of shoes. The attention given by our salesperson, Alicia, was excellent. She seemed to know exactly what would work for my feet. read more

Tried to return shoes (Aertrex) that were promised to ease plantar fasciitis. The girl behind the counter told me to buy a different shoe brand insert for $40. I declined and wanted to exchange the shoes (Aertrex) for a pair of vionics that do ease plantar fasciitis pain. The girl got huffy and informed me they do NOT doreturns on shoes that have been worn. I said I am sorry you don't stand behind your products and I would not shop there again. She told me with my ATTITUDE they didn't want me there. There was not another customer in the store. Wonder why... read more

This shop is very well run. I am sick of trying shoes on-line, having them not fit, and then sending them back. No problem with this store. They have the shoes to try on, fit them to you, and have great customer care. And they are super friendly!!! Love this place! read more

It was my first time ever shopping for Hiking Boots. So I had my mindset for what I wanted. Amy (saleswoman) greeted me at the door. She was really friendly and helpful. I picked out a few shoes that wasn't available in my size. Amy brought out a few choices that fitted perfectly! I loved the styles too! Oboz in Sawtooth Violet & Cobb Hill in Fiona Brown. I bought both pairs! I'm so motivated and I can't wait to go hiking again. Thanks Murray's! My overall experience was Excellent! I give this place five stars for their service, reasonable prices, and good quality in shoes! Must visit Murray's Shoes. read more

I bought a pair of arch support soles from here, and Jim and Alicia were very helpful and patient, and knowledgeable. Jim fit the soles to fit the shape of my feet, and I have noticed a big difference in my gait and the support in my ankles. In the past I bought OTC heel supports at various retailers, which made only a slight difference. But, coming here with my brother was a blessing, since I discovered I could get good foot support, without needing to go through a lengthy process to get it. Great experience overall! read more

Murray's Shoes is the bomb! If you need a quality shoe designed for comfort and foot health, this is the place to go. And shopping here supports a local, small business. The shoes are all quality with well known brands, like Dansko and Naot, plus more niche lines you won't find elsewhere in Denver. On top of fashion shoes, running/walking shoes are also stocked. The owner, Jim Murray, is passionate about providing customers with the right shoe for their needs. He asks very thorough questions and considers any foot issues you may have holistically, taking into account leg length, overall foot and body health and the kind of support your particular foot requires. He also has a handout on stretching to help you maintain foot and leg health. The staff are all amazing as well. They greet you with a friendly "hello" and are just as committed as Jim to making sure you find the best option. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. read more

I walked in to look at sandals. When I walked in, the store was busy with customers. I was not acknowledged by a staff member during my half hour visit, though I tried desperately to get someone to answer a question. The other customers in the store were very kind. I realize that I was not there to buy a $300 pair of shoes or a more expensive pair of custom orthotics during this visit- but after my experience, I wouldn't spend a dime there. I'll go to Foot Solutions or the Walking Company any day. read more

I've walked this world for too long to not know what I just learned here! I've been treating my foot pain as a plantar fasciitis problem when I have something entirely different going on. I was evaluated in a manner I found both credible and helpful and now I am feeling the most relief to my back and feet that I've felt in ages. My quest for the comfort of good shoes and support has ended! read more

I would like to talk a little about Murray's Shoes. A pair of shoes I purchased here came apart at one of the seams (maybe a 3" length), and I dealt with Alicia for a painless warranty issue. I traded out for the exact same shoes because they were so comfortable. The experience was so great, I felt compelled to come on here and write them a review. This is an old-fashioned, family-owned shoe store. It has been around since 1875. That alone should tell you how great they are. They measure the width and length of your foot exactly. Nobody here says "he's 10 1/2-ish or-so..." They put the shoes on you, then you stand up. They feel the width and length of your foot, to make sure it's a proper fit. Like shoe stores used to do. Now, shoes here are about three times more expensive then at a department store or at the mall. But there's a catch-in my experience they last three times longer. That makes them the SAME PRICE in the long run. And that isn't all the shoes-there are some very low priced shoes around the shop as well. I am also doing this for selfish reasons, I will admit. I want to spread the word about Murray's Shoes so that the next time I buy shoes-and it will be from them, there is no question-they're still in business. I'd also like to add- look how they leave comments thanking us for reviews. C'mon- this place SCREAMS customer caring with attention to detail. That's how they made a loyal customer out of me! read more

I'm surprised and delighted how comfortable and warm my feet are after purchasing some Taos ladies boots today! These stylish shoes may be a bit more expensive, but they are TOTALLY worth it. Jula was a wonderful help, very gracious and knowledgable as well. read more

High standards of customer service and personalized fittings. The staff is excellent at shoe fitting and will not promote a product they do not feel is right for the individual. . The store can be busy but keep in mind the attention is so individualized that you will want to plan to wait a little longer than traditional store. As a medical person, the high quality product lines and careful attention to detail was impressive. Strongly recommend for persons with special needs including orthotics. My mom flies in special to purchase shoes from them. Even medical supply stores struggle despite specialized training to accomplish what these folks have mastered. Product line very appealing to all ages and prices fair. read more

I've been in the store a couple times, and Crystal was really helpful in answering my questions about brands. She taught me how to find the right size/ fit which is very handy. She knows a lot, I recommend talking to her when you go. read more

I love Murray's! They have a good selection of comfortable shoes without looking old-ladyish. Their shoes are expensive, but you get what you pay for. One of the last true full service shoe stores around. They take the time to talk with you, understand your needs and what you are looking for. They actually slide the shoes on for you, and check the fit. It's not like Macy's where they throw a box at you and walk away. I love that I am able to support a local, family owned business. read more

I'm giving 5 stars because I can't give 6. I've been coming to see Mr Jim for tears now. I have let length issues and when I move back here from Phoenix I could find a person to make a pair if shoes for me and was referred here after a ton if looking. Now I've had others shoes made by other people by I can say I have never been taken care of by anyone other than Jim. I'm sure the guy is there to sell some shoes but Jim has something you don't find elsewhere, he cares. I don't think I've ever been in and out of in under an hour just because of the my level of fit you get. Now yea from time to time I've been known to wait a bit, however I have never walked out feeling anything than time well spent. I live almost an hour away from the store and sure I could order shoes with custom lift in the internet but then that's what is get. From Mr. Jim I feel like I get a whole lot more and if there is ever a problem he's quick to fix it. If you have problems with foot pain or you got custom feet this us the custom show guy! read more

This place is great if you need a really high quality shoes, and are tired of shoes that fall apart after a year. I'm a heath care worker, and I'm on my feet literally all day, sometimes working double shifts. The athletic shoes I bought for many years just weren't cutting it, and I was having a lot of back and foot pain. I finally went to a podiatrist, and he recommended a few brands that are hard to find in a lot of stores. A lot of my colleagues like Danskos, but I prefer Merrell (even if they are a little manly) and Birkenstock (for my days off!). My mom loves the Aetrex sandals I got for her here too. Those Dansko shoes smash my giant toes, but I guess they offer a lot of support if so many other nurses wear them, and you can find them here. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait to get fitted in this store, but I love the selection, and how in depth the fitting is. Last time I visited (I've been there 3 times now, and left with something each time!), Stacy helped my mother find some summer sandals for her gnarly feet. When your feet aren't of the cookie cutter variety, it is so frustrating to pick up a box from the shelf yourself and find a shoe that fits. I really appreciate getting a proper fitting, and recommendations on which brands will work best for me. Once you get used to the prices (about twice what I'm used to paying!), it's pretty darn nice to have a quality shoe that fits properly, and lasts a long time. read more
