This place is awful and rude. They told our large party we would have to wait 40 minutes. When they still hadn't called us we went back in and they said it would be two hours. They said a large party, even split up, would be a hassle for them and didn't bother telling us, just let us wait. They accused my wife of putting words in their mouths when she just repeated back what they said. What a disappointment this place was. I am aware that this restaurant has been operating at this location for over two years. However this is my first experience there and I was not impressed. Although the menu was interesting in it diversity, it seemed little more than Pub fair. I was there with long table of family members for a special occasion. My grandsons eighteenth birthday. One of the best omelette I've ever had! It was called Devil on Goatback Omelette. It has goat cheese, pork belly, dates and spinach ! I was full and still had 3/4 of it left so my husband finished it. He had the Southwest Burger in a lettuce wrap and it as so delicious! We absolutely loved the natural lighting and beautiful atmosphere. Only thing I didn't like was that you have to pay extra for a side (fries, side salad, bacon ect). Go for the drinks but not the food. A friend and I stopped into The Goat for dinner on a Saturday night. We anticipated a wait as every other time we have tried to go here there's been a 75+ minute wait. This time there wasn't one. The drinks were great, reasonably priced, and came quickly. I opted for a seasonal drink and they were happy to substitute tequila for the vodka in the original drink. The waitress was knowledgable and helpful in deciding between certain drinks and food but we were a little disappointed that they were out of the pizza rolls so early in the evening on a Saturday (6 pm). For dinner, I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and though it came out quickly, it wasn't great. Nothing in it was hot and all the sauce was at the very bottom of the wrap, not mixed throughout. The fries were old, dry, and cold. Overall, I was pleased with the drinks and service but the food left something to be desired. read more

Interesting location, my Uber driver had trouble finding it, but an amazing space. High ceilings, cool modern/rustic decor and lots of space. The menu looked amazing and it was close to my hotel, so that's why I chose it. And it did not disappoint. So many yummy choices, but I went with the HOT CHICKEN PIZZA (Spicy pimento cheese, Nashville hot chicken, habanero oil, chopped pickles) on the recommendation of the bartender, though I had already picked it out to order. Pros: No wait for brunch at 11 on a Sunday (Puckett's was a half hour, and so was First Watch, according to Yelp). The huevos rancheros were really good and very filling (took the second one home). I ordered my eggs over hard, which a lot of places don't get right, but they were just right. Add cheddar and ask for Cholula hot sauce. Hashbrowns (really just smashed tater tots) have fantastic crispy edges. Boyfriend really liked the braised pork tater tots. Cons: Boyfriend had the chicken sandwich and it was just O.K., light on meat. The server was ok however they got the first order wrong...The Manager Andy Ortiz complete disregard for his job. A plate was dropped on the ground shattering all over our legs which accidents happen. The worse of all is when my sons order was also bad. He started to eat and realized the food was making him sick. We sent it back and patiently just told them to give him some tenders(Can't screw that up)and the manager sent the Tacos back saying because he had eaten some they would not replace them. The manager never came out to see what was wrong or anything. Went to the Goat tonight for dinner. It will be my only visit. Ordered a burger, it took over 40 minutes for the food to come out. The waitress rarely came over to see if anything was needed. I believe she was embarrassed due to the delay in food arriving. When my burger arrived it was terrible. The patty was small, the bun was supposed to be toasted it was hard and the burger was cold. What can I say about the goat? The atmosphere is wonderful with the high ceilings and spacious bar area. You can usually find a table and if you can't there is a area in the back with a pool table and shuffleboard and video games that you can usually Lounge at until you get a table. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the tots with the bar cheese they are fantastic I don't eat meat so I usually get the veggie wrap with the avocado sauce it is delicious they try to upsell you on the fries but the chips are really very good. The Wednesday happy hour half-off wine is a great happy hour. The only thing I can say negative about them and sometimes they get the bill wrong so just make sure you check the bill before you pay. I don't think they do it on purpose it's just a lot of people involved in the process. read more

Get past the bad GPS directions and take a minute to find this place near the pool.... looks like the neighborhood clubhouse in a real nice Northern Virginia development....the beer selection is worthy...hat a citricy IPA and a hoppy IPA, each was damn good local IPA. I had the naked burger with salad and Chipotle dressing...the burger was high quality beef and cooked to nice medium rare as ordered. Beautiful place in an, obviously, very trendy part of Murfreesboro. The restaurant is large and doesn't take reservations. We had a group of 13. It was so loud in there that we couldn't hear each other even sitting next to each other. The fried cauliflower app was delicious. The Tots, very yummy. My burger was not so great even though it sounded good and the server recommended it with Brie and Jam. Sadly, flavorless. French fries were good. This place surprised me! The vibe was upscale, but the atmosphere was causal. It was perfect for my Friday afternoon happy hour work crew. It didn't take us long to get seated, but we did get there before the crowd. Our waiter was awesome! Nathan was very attentive and made sure that we had drinks the whole time we were there. I had the Carnivore pizza which was really good! I will definitely be back to try more of their pizzas. They also have a pretty good happy hour, I wouldn't say the best in Murfreesboro, but it was good. I have to also note that the music was pretty good that day!
