The food was decent at this location. Our waitress was a bit slow to greet us because she was talking with her friends at the table right next to us. The restaurant looks really nice but given the flys and the boxes stuffed in the corner of the dinning room with cob webs hanging from ceiling to floor I felt it could use some cleaning. The silverware that came wrapped in a fabric napkin were also dirty with food still on them. This isn't the same quality as the Nashville location we ate the week prior. read more

Great spot!! Amazing food and drinks, Dillon was the greatest server!! Definitely give it a try!!

Got seated around 12:30p, sat and waited for 15 minutes. NO ONE could be bothered to come get our drink order. Naturally we got up to leave. Mind you, they watched us as we arrived and took 10 minutes to even seat us. read more

First time here! There was a 30 min wait. Waited outside by a beautiful gas fire pit. Wait didn't seem as long when you have a great atmosphere. Inside the ambience was a 10. Service was above par, my glass was never empty, very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu. Food was delicious! Fried pickles could have been cooked a little more. We had a great time & will be back! read more

Leslie was amazing. Great customer service 5 stars on this place. I definitely recommend

Food was actually pretty good and reasonable priced. Nice ambiance with a lot of TV screens for watching sports. My cocktails were not good. Ordered Edison and Whiskey Smash. Did not blend well, awful flavor. Service was excellent. read more

Had the most wonderful afternoon with a friend today. Buffalo Cauliflower, five stars, strawberry mimosas, five stars, the herbivore, five stars, the blue on black burger with pork belly tots, a gazillion stars. They were very busy on this beautiful Sunday afternoon but it gave us a chance to catch up. Not once did we feel rushed to leave. One of the best experiences I've had in Murfreesborro. read more

TLDR: fun spot, good food, great staff, a wee bit loud. Try it! Traveling through Murfreesboro and decided on dinner here. The restaurant is tied to the apartment/townhouses that encircle the site. Just outside are sand volleyball courts and you can sign out a ball and have at it. There's also a pool but that's for the residents, however you can sit outside and watch them frolicking in the water. The ambiance is great. A bit loud but it's more like a welcoming sports bar than a fine dining location so it's all good. The hosts were terrific. Two people welcomed us and seated us quickly despite being somewhat busy. Our server, Lindsey, was amazing! We explained we were just passing through and, being old people, asked a zillion questions, which she patiently answered. Her recommendations were spot-on. We started with the fried pickles with moonshine sauce. It will easily serve four as an appetizer, maybe more. For entrees we went with the boneless wings with moonshine sauce and Devil on Goatback flatbread (Lindsey's recommendation). Both were excellent. The chicken was served very warm and moist. The breading was flavorful without the sauce. If you're in town, give the place a go! read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE HOSTESS. Two girls at the hostess stand on their phones and when I asked about an update on our patio seating ( there were three empty tables as we waited). The hostess with hair past her waist told me we would need to wait another 10-15 mins. When I asked her why we would need to wait that long she rolled her eyes and rattled on about the server and needing time to not be overwhelmed. She came a few mins later and took us to a table. Did not speak or thank us for waiting, have a good dinner. The thing is.. regardless if the food is good or not the cell phones at the hostess stand, the immature, sarcastic hostess, and rude attitude have already left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

The food and service was outstanding. The drinks looked amazing. Pretty cool with sand courts outside.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed this place. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it just wasn't my style. The food was great, the service was good. But, it's a college / hipster hangout. I would have LOVED this place 20 years ago. We shared an appetizer of Buffalo Cauliflower first. Then my fiancé had the Bacon Jam and Brie Burger with farmhouse tots. He loves anything with an egg on top! So, this made his night. I ordered the avocado lime salad with chicken - so good! Overall, a very pleasant experience! read more

On this afternoon we ordered gyro with chicken, chicken nachos, pork tacos. The nachos had great flavor but was cold when it hit the table. Gyro was the same. Tacos came out the first time burnt so hard and inedible that they were returned. The server apologized and the manager also, and proceeded to bring out another batch of tacos that were hot and delicious. Our check was also adjusted. We've been to the Goat several times before and enjoyed the meals there and plan on returning. read more

This is our favorite pub/burger bar to go to in Murfreesboro! It feels more upscale than some of the others while still having the burger beer combo we love. They also have a very tasty veggie burger and their tots are amazing. Vegetarian friendly! read more

We went to the one in Nashville. I ordered a Mai tai and it wasn't good. Although the burger, chicken wings were delicious. My veggie taco wasn't. It was way too spicy, normally when l order one at other places it's not spicy at all. The service was fantastic! Nice ambiance read more

Birria Tacos were fantastic! Our server was great, never had to wait for a refill. The decor was modern rustic.

We used to love coming to the Goat. The menu has changed and not a good selection. The waitress took over 10 minutes to come to our table as she was talking for a long time with the next table. I specifically asked not to bring the appetizer and main dishes together and they did. The dressing had a sour taste. Just a huge disappointment and quality was no way near as it was. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I'm sorry, I just really do not want this place to get busy! We came on a Sunday, sun was shining, the bloody mar bar was up and ready, and the seats were mostly empty, and THANK GOODNESS. It made for a wonderful first impression. PROS: - NO WAIT - GREAT FOOD - It was quiet, I bet as summer gets going there will be volleyball and noise at the pool - Drinks at the pool!! - REASONABLY PRICED (granted it's a far drive if you don't live in MFBRO) CONS: - Male server wasn't "with it", slow, and things weren't clicking to him (He sure was nice, I just don't think being a server is a talent for him) - There are maybe 5 donut holes that come in the bag? The first one was just rough, like it was fried tough on the outside and then gooey gross on the inside, the rest were good though, and the jelly is great with them - Coffee isn't that good, wouldn't recommend, especially if you like your coffee without cream and sugar - Hashbrowns you have super high expectations for them, but the ones I got tasted like they were left in the fryer way too long. Almost burnt tasting. Huge bummer b/c starch is my jam. Overall, I am still thinking about this spot and looking forward to the next time we are over on this side of town. I would recommend this spot and will be coming back! read more

Don't ever order online. I did today and they sent a txt telling me they'd let me know when it's ready. Over an hr later I finally called and they said "it's ready". I walked over to pick it up and shouldn't have taken it but I was starving. The bottom of the bun was soaking wet and the chips were hard as a rock. The fries were very soggy and even tho I ordered a $6 basket it was less than a small McDonald's fries. I love their food but IF I ever eat from there again I will go in and wait on it. read more

We were so excited about this place. Upon arrival the place is gorgeous. We had a group of 7. We were sat at a high top table with terrible bar stools. They do not fit the table and made your legs go numb. Once we actually had a server take our order it was 35 minutes until we had a drink. I got a wedge salad. It was the most expensive terrible wedge I've ever had. It was literally a head of lettuce cut in half with some blue cheese crumbles and the dressing came on the side. It's also very loud. Don't waste your time. read more

I've come here a few times over the years and I've always had a great experience. The atmosphere is very unique and the parking is pretty easy. There's also the sand volleyball court right outside! The service is usually pretty friendly and the food tastes good, too. The menu items can be a little pricey but the quality is worth it. If I'm not mistaken, at night it's 21+. Definitely worth a visit. read more

We met our daughter and her family at The Goat for Father's Day lunch, so four adults and two young boys. There is not a children's menu, but we were able to get/share food that they were happy with. Ambience was great. Outside seating by the pool is nice, but the umbrella on the table flew off and almost hit someone sitting at the pool. 5 minutes later another umbrella flew off a different table. The food took over an hour to come to the table and when it did the shrimp tacos and chicken tenders were over fried. Couldn't even cut through the shrimp. However, the waitress was nice enough to comp two of our meals. I really hope they get their act together, because location and vibe is cool read more

So as soon as me, my wife and 5 year old daughter walk in to "The Goat". We are greeted by the host with nearly a dozen staff just sort of standing around. Not a single person smiled, but the waitress was nice enough. The food is way overpriced and the drinks are mediocre. The big problem was when we got our food. My food was decent, but my wife's burger was bland, overcooked and underseasoned. My daughter's Mac and cheese off the kids menu came and my wife and I both tasted it because my daughter had a look on her face when she ate it. I called the waitress over and asked " what kind of cheese do you use in your kids Mac and cheese? It's really spicy." She went to check with the chef and came back. " It is jalapeño queso." They used jalapeño queso in my 5 year old daughter Mac and cheese ordered from the kids menu! Then they also overcharged our check and when we sent the check back, the bar tender gives us a dirty look. Needless to say we won't be going back. read more

We were a party of 6 in a restaurant with empty tables everywhere yet the receptionist said they would have to wait to make room for us. What? We waited 30 minutes for a table which is designed for 6 people, which was empty the entire time we waited. Severely understaffed and poorly managed. Four ladies acted as receptionist when they should have been working as waitresses. This place has such a great atmosphere and has enormous potential with the right management. You'll love the decor and open air feel. I can highly recommend a drink they offer called The Edison. However, it is inconsistent between bartenders and sometimes just ok rather than great. The appetizers were delivered hot and in a reasonable time frame. The main course took an abnormally long time to be brought to the table. I can recommend the cauliflower appetizer. It comes with Buffalo and ranch sauces. I ordered the chicken and goat cheese sandwich. It was pretty good. My wife's Farmhouse burger was good and we can recommend it. We had a great waitress who was attentive and had a great disposition. She saved the day on this visit. read more

The food was delicious, as always. The service was HORRIBLE. You have hired a ton a people who stand around and do nothing. A table of ten took 45 mins to get our food with zero communication. Then 15 more minutes to get a person food after everyone else ate. No one apologized, no one communicated , no one offered the an apology or cared that we have been waiting. I spoke to multiple servers who were standing around doing nothing and no one cared to rush our food. Shame on your management for hiring so many people who are clearly poor at their jobs. read more

Enjoy the food! Wait times can be long since it's really popular and the bathroom could be a little cleaner but great place to hang out

Very shady. We ordered the house Cab. What they consider house is the most expensive wine on the menu. When we asked the server, she said the owner buys that one and that's what they are supposed to "push". And the wine wasn't very good. If it was, they wouldn't have to trick people into ordering it. read more
