He did a great job straightening out the cabinets I messed up and installing the rest of the cabinet handles. I also had him install two medicine cabinets recessed into the wall in my bathroom which turned out great. When he was done he made sure he cleaned up after cutting into the wall to put in the cabinets. I wouldn't hesitate to call Jose again for any work I need done. I think I'll call him back for some concrete work in my backyard when I'm ready.

We had already decided on hours diring a prior phone call. The text included a photo of Eli (love that!). Eli explained everything and had material samples that I could examine. Eli explained that the doors are custom made to my specifications and that Den Defenders handles everything, from estimates to the manufacture to the installation. We decided on a price (pretty high but, believe me, worth it!). The delivery date was in 2.t weeks. Today, 2.5 weeks later, with the date and time negotiated in a prior phone call, I received a text telling me that Juan would be my installer and giving me his photo (did I mention how much I like this policy?). Juan showed up on time and communicated well. Before leaving, he showed me the door, explained maintenance, and walked me through my new keypad lock set. After buying a replacement bulb (which is getting harder to find as they are "outlawed" now by the folks in Sacramento) I learned that it was not the bulb as the flashing continued. I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to LED rather than chase a second ballast. This was about a 10x difference out of pocket but as I just got paid by a couple of side jobs, we could afford it. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Evan's Handyman Co. Everything from there until completion went as well as I could have asked for. A professional of theirs stopped by, gave me a firm bid, we scheduled time, they called when an earlier slot opened up, and the work was done by 7 minutes after the original start time. There was no frame or anything so I needed to completely be built out, but it was a large opening and odd size space so I didn't even want to attempt trying it myself. I had gotten an estimate from another company, but something seemed off when they were at my house, so I never pulled the trigger. I sat on it for about a year and that's when I ran across Tom's name on the Nextdoor app. I decided to reach out to TM Remodeling And Renovation Services and he was extremely quick to get back to me, which I appreciated. We set up a date for him to come and take a look and do an estimate, and he showed up on time, and I immediately filled with ease with his personality, knowledge and experience. He took his time to answer any questions I had and then helped me work through my ideas of what I wanted to do with the space giving me pros and cons of each, as well as giving me ideas I hadn't thought of before. Through his recommendation, I had the whole door built through a local company and he came and did the install, and then did a few other small tasks for me. I have a list of things I want to do and now that I have found someone who's not only reliable, quick to communicate, and does excellent work, I will definitely be using him as much as I can!
